No furniture pads from WA Uhaul containers delivered. Did Move help and that was very confusing. Items packed very poorly and damage occurred. Very difficult to determine process for claim or if you can claim damage. Poor explanation of claims process at start of reservation process and if insurance would be required. originally ordered a truck but that was cancelled by Uhaul due to lack of availability. The employees are rude and condescending. They have no desire to help customers or even provide correct information. They do not look or act professional. I had a coupon from uhaul corporate offices that they refused to accept. I had to move an old experience deck. That location seems to be the only place in arizona that has trailers. You need to send a management team in there and change how they are conducting business for the uhaul company.DION M.

Had a one way truck confirmed for my move. I get a call the day before I'm moving from an agent saying they don't do ones way trucks! This was so inconsiderate and terrible customer service on uhaul!! When I went to pick up the uhaul the workers looked miserable and unhappy and lacked basic customer service!! Next time actually remember we are waiting outside to hook up to the trailer we reserved. We waited 20 minutes, we finally backed up to the trailer and finally a guy came out to help someone else and saw us. He then tells us no one told him there would be a trailer picked up. There needs to be better communication. But, on the good side, when we returned it we were immediately helped by a young woman, very friendly, very professional and had us on our way in 5 minutes without having to go into the office.DREXEL S.

Everything was excellent. Timely pickup and delivery, plenty of pads and nothing damaged in transit. One thing to improve: the container only has 4 tie-down brackets in total (two on each wall). I recommend 6 on each wall - 3 at shoulder height (equally spaced horizontally) and 3 at knee height (equally spaced horizontally). This would allow for more secure fastening of large items and especially stacks of items (boxes).Kenneth J.

I moved to Phoenix from San Antonio last November and was charged $800 for a 20 ft truck. 5 MONTHS later I was charged THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS for the SAME sized truck to take me back home to Texas. Supply and demand, they claim. I say BS, you ripped me off blind and are NO BETTER THAN STORES CHARGING AN ARM AND LEG FOR TOILET PAPER during the pandemic. SHAME ON YOU, UHaul! The facility was a mess. Equipment scatter around the exterior of the sales showroom. A water hose was laying across the entrance and the equipment storage area was piled with unfolded moving blankets, boxes, dollies, etc. Help was non existant. I was in on 3 occassions and there was never more then one clerk behind the service counter, once with 8 customers in line. The guy behind the counter that had helped me had very poor customer service! Rolled his eyes several times at me. I had previously called and he seemed the same way in the phone. But the kicker was his hygiene. He seemed very...unkept. There was a significantly skinnier guy that smiled and took the initiative and got the key when he heard what vehicle I wanted. On my way back to drop the vehicle off I saw the slimmer guy again. He smiled and waved. If this big guy is in a higher position then they need to be switched. I would go here again. I gave full marks but was very frustrated with my experience. I reserved 3 months prior to my move and the evening before I was called and told my booking for a 26' truck was not possible and had to settle for a 20' truck which was not beg enough. This made me have to pay for my moving help to stay longer. I was not able to have a one way move either which meant that took more time out of my day and more gas. I worked there about 14 years ago when Mr Warren was the GM, I went there 3-4 months ago and had the worst experience ever.I said I'd never go back and last Thursday I went back and I was totally satisfied with the new staff that was there they have great customer service skills even the guys cleaning and receiving the rentals.Thank you Uhaul for fixing the issues with that old staff. I was unable to pick up my rental after reserving for over a week ahead having confirmation e mail to use Mobil 24/7 software. Next morning was promised a discount for troubles. The reason behind my review is the customer service experience at the counter. The gal taking reservations could have not been more unprofessional. She did not seem happy to be at work, annoyed and on her phone while helping the guy before me. The other employee who was out loading trailers or trucks had came in briefly to eat some Cheetos, understandable however it would have been nice to be acknowledged â€œ hello, they will be right with youâ€ something like that. That did not happen the two of them had a side conversation while helping someone and a line of 4 parties. Once it was my turn it went quick but I believe that's because I was prepared. I reserved a pick-up and trailer. When I arrived they did not have my reservation. I had to use a 10' box truck. I was in a bind, so I had to use what they hadROBERT W.
First truck had a check engine light on and they told us it was no big deal. We made them change trucks as we were doing a long freeway trip. Should not have to argue about a safety issue. One clerk in the store made every effort to ignore us and when she finally did she dumped us on another person indicating her computer didn't work. But proceeded to tell others behind us. Large facility with lots of trucks. The box prices are the best I've seen anywhere in the internetDavid H.
I, a moving van and four men contracted to unload the truck into the storage unit had to wait for an hour for your computer system and U-haul employees to gain access to the unit. I lost a day of moving help because the elevator had operating issues. The 'manager' said the next day that it was working, but when i tried, it was not. Turns out she lied when she said a repairman came out and it was fixed. Another person said no one was called to come out and repair it. I was sold 2 locks for both units, then found out there was already a lock in each unit, but still charged me for the ones i didnt need. Only 1 elevator for the size of this location is ludicrous. I went to the Uhaul office in Surprise on June 14th. The young man sold me a lock and did not tell me to put it on immediately.He did not have me sign a contract, I recived a call from Jennifer regarding the contract. I said I would be in to sign. I never can get thru to the Surprise office. Sat 6=27 another call from Jennifer wanting to know if I had moved out, I hadn't even moved in. Because I did not put my lock on the leased the unit to someone else. So I spent another hour getting a different unit rented and locked up. I feel the service was very poor until I talked with Jennifer face to face. I now have a unit and we are moving items in on Thursday. Your phone service is terrible, Put on hold forever and then you don't talk to who called you and they person you do talk to does not know what they problem is. This has not been a good experience.
