Need to do a lot more with the after hours return process. Go on the website and the frustration begins. Can't return and the phone in option is a minimum 20 minute wait to see to be told just leave it!!! It was a terrible experience. In this age of online things. It was like it was back in the stone age. Please do something about that!!

I was extremely upset to find out you are not reimbursed for extra gas in the tank. I put in $150 almost completely ful tank as I did not know how much would be needed. When I pickup truck it was between 1/8 and 1/4 When I dropped it off it was past 1/2 a tank. So at least $75 worth of gas that I paid for On top of my $600 bill Not happy at all Would like a reimbursement You have all my contact info

We accessed our unit just after the hall floor had been waxed. It was dangerously slippery, like walking on an oiled surface. No signage warned us. We both came near to falling. An hour later it was just slippery but managable. Not sure why you would wax that floor but if it must be done signage should be posted to warn customers. You could be sued.

This is such a tiny concern but I may as well bring it up - I had added an appliance dolly to my order, and was instructed to stop before the gate, hop out and grab a dolly, and throw it in the back of the truck. No worries there. However the gate opened when I approached and then closed as I was putting the dolly in the truck. A couple cars lined up behind me at this point to leave, and I got back into the truck to leave and get out of their way. The gate had closed by then and I had to go inside to get them to open it again. All you need to do is let the customer know whether the gate opens automatically or manually by an employee inside the building (who should be watching).

They charge me extra for fuel even though I maintained the level. Wouldn't rent again from this location i would say. Employee told me forcefully to just drop off and good to go they will email me final receipt after inspection(trick to up charge customers and rip them).

First not impressed that uhaul did not inform us of the correct location to pick up our truck. No text was sent the day before stating this was the location to pick up. Parking for 2nd driver horrible. Nothing available. And they did not have the correct dolly we had requested for rent at this location. Staff was very nice and helpful here unlike the first location we were at but set move date over an hour behind due to the mix up and the correct dolly would have been nice (was not even loaded in the truck when we picked up had to get one our selves at checkout).

I did not appreciate the Customer Service provided by the attendant that helped me. He came off as rude. He would not explain things properly. My deposit was supposed to be $100 which l was not told about and then when l went to pay, pinpad said $150 to which l enquired and l was told it is what it is.

the location was fairway road was fine, they treated me well. However this is not where i made my original reseveration. It was at the Ultramar on Weber st in Kitchener. When I went to this location there were no 20' trucks, and I was left to sort out what to do. The attendant was completely unhelpful (boarder line rude). When making a reservation on the internet information provided in the email communication needs to be correct. Not incorrect which it was. This was a very stressful, unnecessary situation, and nobody at uhaul seemed to care at all about it.

When I dropped off the vehicle was five minutes after five. I understand that they close at 5 o'clock. I didn't see them in there I thought they could do a quick check in but no eventually they came outside and said checking in on the online drop off. Did show me the website so I could do it myself. In which I did. They told wasn't very nice not very professional.

We went to the first location to pick up the cargo van reservation but when we got there it was the only van there with a flat tire. We were redirected to the next uhaul location to try to get a van. No luck. Then we went to 555 Fairway Brandee heard our story and took care of us. Two strikes fir lackbif communication and 30-60 minutes waiting time on your care phone line. Individual took care of us, not Uhaul. Dont use tye neighbourhood uhaul dealers as they lack inventory. Go to the main location's in your city. Michael

I don't know why but I had absolute technical failure when I tried to drop off my cargo van after hours it chronically would not locate I could not get it to work and when I finally managed to go a different way to return my van when I was taking the pictures of the interior and the exterior it wouldn't register that I had taken the pictures and I could not continue further so alone at 11:30 to 12 o'clock at night by myself as a female I was very frustrated and finally just took my gas receipts and the key and put it in the key return

The ease of rental was very well organized, and quick, the return process was good with the exception of having to find a place to park, entering the store and doing the final process, i feel this could have been avoided, but had to do the return of deposit dance of reinserting my card…it took longer to do that, (wait for a free agent, bring up the contract, determine fee return, and insert card, etc) than it did to actually drive in and unhook the trailer. That process could be streamlined

One thing that is not at all convenient is getting the trucks with 1/4 of a tank. Uhaul should fill the tanks to full and make everyone return the tanks to full. Getting a truck with that little gas when you have a big day of moving ahead and people waiting is really crappy.

The customer service at this particular location was not very good. Rented a truck also from here and had to walk to get it. As this was booked online the truck should of been up front and ready as the parking in the back to get it was a an ice rink. There should of been more effort into having this completed. JoAnn

When I booked I asked for the largest unit available. When I arrived from Windsor I was told that it wasnt available and had to go with the one below. I brought a 3 bedroom and a basement home with me and had to stack my things very high to make it fit into the unit I was given. We made it work but things got squished in the process. Maybe in the future there should be some way to make sure that what the customer books is what they get. Besides that I was happy with my experience.

You need to update your site to say that bigger trucks are not available online. And that you need three references to call when picking up at 7am. It was great waking everyone up. Also you had no trucks in three cities surrounding me so I had to get one an hour away and pay the mileage. Plus the store locked it's doors 20 mins early and the staff looked at me outside like I was stupid. Will not do this again.

The staff wasn't on the same page at all. I moved to London on September 4th and I went in to move all of my stuff out and to cancel and someone told me it was fine and I should just wait until the end of the month and to call them to cancel so I left to London and then on called on September 30th to cancel October 1 payment and someone told me that it was all good and my automatic payments were removed. I then got a voicemail from someone else saying that won't work because the lock was on still, I called them back and a new person answered and explained it to me and I told them I was coming home on the weekend and I could do it then and they said we will still have to charge you for the unit and I had to take it off that day or I'll have to pay. So I called my mom in Kitchener and I asked if she had a key and she didn't. so they called me the next day and said the same thing on October 1st and I told the guy that when I walked in on September 4th to cancel it he told me I was lying and no one would've told me that.

I wasn't showed the room on moving day. Lock was not removed from storage space. I realized the space was too small for my items getting moved in. I asked for an upgrade but was denied. Staff wasn't at all helpful. I was told to come back the next morning to ask for an upgrade. I was not able to move in on day 1. Did it on day 2. Upgrade took 10 min. To do the next morning. Could have been done the night before.

The staff forgot to unlock my unit after I checked in. I arrived after office hours with my hired 80 dollars per hour living helpers, and we waited for about 1 hour for customer service to pick up my call. The customer service had no way but to tell me to come back the second day. In total, I wasted 3 hours because I cannot get into my storage unit. The 3 hours were completely wasted, and I had to hire them again.

-Too expensive. -charged late fee multiple times and unable to pay over the phone or on the app. -when emptying storage unit, found multiple boxes and items wet from them "cleaning" the storage hallway. -Overall experience unacceptable. Will NEVER use uhaul again.

My access card never worked, my payments were automatic. My credit card was charged for a rental that wasn't mine and it took me two calls and two visits to get my money back. Then when the lock they made me buy from them brock and they wanted to pay 50 dollars cash for their lock smith. Then the lock smith got into an threatening argument with my husband when I refused to pay cash.

Was a wonderful experience,and the staff were very polite and very helpful.i was renting u- haul since 1992 I used o mve from province to province.and from city to city and always u- haul moving and storage had excellent service but the office at 555 fairway road exceed them all in service with the nicest staff that happen to meet.thank you the the managers and all staff.have a nice summer and wonderful time.

Brandee the manager is awesome, she's always welcoming and helpful to customers, but there is need to overhaul the composition of the other workers . They are rude and dismissive of customer concerns, this happens when you walk in the manager is not around. I was left with no option but to move my storage services to another facility.

I rented a unit for 3 years and never had any issues. I would go and check on the unit with my items from time to time and the facility was always clean. No pests or problems. Direct payment made it easy so I didn't have to go in to pay each month.

Hardly get someone to pick up the phone. All storage options were not conveyed on first visit, only told when moving in. Otherwise the move-in customer service guy was very patient and helpful. It seem the customer service is varying person to person, and client to client

One of your employees was extremely rude I don't know her name she would not give me her name when I asked for it but she's the girl Asian girl with the blond hair. When I brought back the 26 foot truck my father asked her what am I paying the 15 dollars she unbelievably rudely said you should have asked me 5 seconds ago the screen is closed my father felt embarrassed as there was customer inside the store as well. She handed me the paper to my father without even explaining what was on it she just kept saying read the paper he then asked for her name and she walked away and as she is walking away she yelled I don't need to give you my name it's on the paper. Worst experience I have ever seen at this place and I was renting 2 units here plus renting trials and trucks. And to have that kind of attitude after a long day of moving is just wrong.

The service is actually very good and met my needs. The staff was great and helpful. I put in a low rating because I saw NO Covid safety precautions in the facility other than the in the main office. The elevator is horrible! The necessity of having to swipe the card to have it work and continually press a button (finger remains on a button) to have it move is inconvenient and bad during a pandemic. My friend stored her items at a place on Pinebush in Cambridge that had regular elevators. The system you have where you need to touch 2 doors on an elevator several times and then open and close a door to go upstairs has many communal touchpoints. I saw the facility being regularly cleaned every time I was there. However, I never saw anyone wiping the elevator button, the elevator pull-down door latches and outside elevator doors, and the door handle to the stairs or the carts. There was no evidence that anyone made any effort to clean the carts either. It's really risky and dangerous. I brought my own Lysol wipes and cleaned things as I used them myself. Not everyone is going to clean things as they use them. It would be helpful to have wipes set up at the elevator and carts like they do at grocery stores, hotels and gas stations. I mean really, it's not just for your customers, it's for your own staff to have some safety measures be in place. I'm a teacher and the custodial staff there wiped all touchpoints regularly and there were still outbreaks. I hate to think about the risk at your facility. It's actually shocking that I saw nothing but the same lady cleaning the grounds (she was friendly and did a really good job). I saw nobody cleaning high touchpoints. I know because I took several trips a day and the cart I left in the drop off point was at the exact same angle I left it many hours later. Very unfortunate for your staff and customers who do not clean touchpoints for themselves. I cleaned myself, otherwise, I never would have continued with the service so I am ok with the service I had. I worry for others who while rushing to store things do not take precautions. Even with vaccines rolling out, there is still going to be risk for months and maybe years to come. UHaul has to invent in taking more precations for customers and also their own staff. My rating would have been better if not for the pandemic. However, we are in a pandemic and will be for some time. Change needs to happen here. That being said I would use the service myself again because I clean well myself.

My biggest issue is when I tried to call a local U Haul number and I got diverted to a US customer service agent who apparently did not have access to my account so I get put on hold indefinitely while they try and reach the local number. Seems circuitous, time consuming and inefficient. But the person that I've dealt with via email [Brandee] was wonderful.

Followed directions given to me by uhaul. Alarm went off when I opened unit. Went and spoke with management, they "helped" me briefly. When returning to unit, alarm went off a second time. Returned to talk with management, they had left for the day. Returned to unit a third time - no alarm. Was told there would be a lock in the unit - no lock present. Luckily I had a lock in my car, installed on unit. When returning a week later, there was a management lock on my unit because my lock was improper type. The potential was there to make the online check -in smooth, but execution was so unbelievably poor.

Great experience, only issue was when arriving to register for our reserved large 20 x 10 storage unit, they told us they didn't have any available. We were confused as to why it would let us reserve the unit if it wasn't available but they accommodated us with 2 10x10 units which was fine in the end. Otherwise, great, clean, friendly facility that I would recommend using.
