Provide a customer service experience, not treat the customer like they are on an assembly line. The individual helping rushed to get to the next person. There were things requested and not added to the bill. I guess a blessing in disguise. I will be taking my business else where.EDUARDO H.
i was told i could drop the trailer at any location in charleston i went to the other location on Dorchester rd 6 miles down the road the guy that worked there was a smart ass jerk he keep running his mouth about if i didn't rent the trailer there i could not return it there . i went in the back and dropped the trail when i did he blocked the exit with a truck so we could not get outchris L.

I took a picture of the mileage and the gas gauge before I left and also when I returned and it was off by .1 for mileage- no biggie. Check out and check in was easy breezy.. just wish that I was explained to where the lights were, tow option, gas tank side, radio, ac/heat control, extra parking brake, adjust mirrors... etc.. but all was well- figured some of it out.. The Staff were friendly & efficient.Danielle V.

They have the largest selection of moving supplies that I have seen yet and lots of trucks and trailers. My husband is disabled and this move he thought he could do so when I needed the trailer for another day they were able to accommodate me. I rated poorly for a couple reasons. 1) Equipment was in good condition, but the interior light did not work and the windshield was extremely dirty and near impossible to get clean. Very annoying, especially at night. 2) There was 1/4 tank of gas, so I had to overfill to make sure not to turn in low. 3) I was quoted $70 for the insurance, but was charged $98 plus taxes, etc (probably for the equipment change which was not my issue). I did not see that until I got a receipt.TIMOTHY P.

The drop off location was wonderful and helpful. This was not the original drop off location, which was closed with gates, no drop box, and no entry to drop off a truck. I was on hold with customer service for over half an hour. They did not believe that the drop off location was closed and told me if I dropped it off anywhere else there would be an extra fee. They were unprofessional and not helpful. I drove to the new location because it was the closest uhaul center. They served me with no additional fee.AIMEE B.

I reserved my truck online for next day use. I got a text saying there was no trucks available for my move later that same name (even though i was told by Customer Service I would get a call letting me know if they had something available). I was scrambling trying to find another rental moving truck company the next morning. I then received a call around 10am that morning asking if I was still picking up my reserved uhaul truck. I mentioned how I received a text saying there wasn't any available and the lady on the phone so â€œoh I'm sorry i don't know why it did that but we have it ready for you if you want itâ€. So I drove 30 minutes to pick it up. I paid for a one way uhaul (which is $130 instead of $25). The lady who helped me get my truck when I got to the location asked where I would like to drop off and I chose one close to my new house. Well when I tried to return the truck ,the lady who helped me at the pick up location, put the wrong return address. She chose a drop off location only 10 minutes from the original pick up spot. I called uhaul customer service (it was a Sunday) and they transferred me to the â€œschedulingâ€ department. I told the lady on the phone I needed her to change my return address to the one I currently was at because that's what I was told. The uhaul representative LAUGHED and said â€œthat's not how it worksâ€. She was incredibly rude and no help to me at all. She wanted me to drop off the truck 30 minutes away from where I was which was about 10 minutes from the original pick up location! Why would I pay so much for a one way when the return address was so close to the pick up one?! It makes no sense! She then said if I chose to drop off at my current location I would be charged a fee. Well all I have to say is that I received HORRIBLE customer service from Uhaul. Also, I better not get charged extra for the mistakes of uhaul employees. Worst experience i had. This is a way Uhaul made a move even more stressful!Noelle A.

Process was simple and easy start to end. Portia (sorry if I spelled wrong!) and the other young lady at the front desk, were both handling challenging calls when I came in and were providing stellar customer service with the patience of a saint!! Marquel got me my truck and checked me out when I was done quickly and efficiently and Juan (ai think owner/manager) was also friendly and kind!! I've been in customer service over 35 years now and tend to expect more, well this location provided! I would not only and will recommend highly to anyone but also will be using this location solely in the future when I have to use this service. Improve for this customer. I had a 20ft truck reserved for today with 8:30am pick up. I had reservation and confirmation number. However location did not have it in their system. Well I could get was a 15 foot truck. Thankfully the people I had helping you how to load a truck it was full to the brim. If I had one more piece of furniture one more box to put it in it would not have fit. Very upset about this but did confirm that I have a 20 foot trucks on reserve for pick up each day for the remainder of the week.SHARON T.
