We were texted one location for pick up and emailed a different location. We called and were told that we were texted a different location from the emailed location due to the equipment being out of service. Only to find out the second location closed at noon and we had just missed them. We then used the Dixie Hwy location. We were provided with a trailer that had had turn signals that worked opposite of the way we were turning. The tounge of the trailer was messed up so it felt like it was slamming into my car the whole 6 hour drive.DANIEL ALAN M.

Made appointment online for over a week out. Drove there on the time n day I scheduled. Walked in and they told me they didn't have the hitch. Could have called for reschedule but waited til I got there to tell me. Rescheduled for 2 days later (dropped off early @ 9 a.m.) .. 2:30 rolled around and still didn't hear anything (was told on Wed they didn't have any other appointments today and it would be finished asap). Tried to call and no answer. So ran some errands and 4:15 and still didn't hear anything. Tried to call again and no answer. They close in 45 mins so took a leap of faith and drove up there. It was finished and sorting in the parking lot. My time is very important to me and my time has been wasted ALOT with this location. Just the constant waiting today and driving all the way over there which is about 15 miles. Not to mention the gas. Just think the customer service and communication skills needs improvement. The truck was in poor repair. Shook all over the road when driven. Lock for door in the back was frozen - couldn't use. Driver's seat could not be moved for taller driver. VERY POOR IMPRESSION AND WOULD NOT HAVE WANTED TO HAVE DRIVEN IT MORE THAN A FEW MILES. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!Jackie S.

When I walked inside to get the key the male employee was cussing at customers. Then when he gave me the key he told me my truck was double booked but said â€œfuck itâ€ and gave me the key. An hour later once the truck was loaded I was called by them and they told me I needed to unload the truck and bring it back and get a different truck.Lauren B.

I reserved my truck for 1day, when I walked in Joyce was answering multiple phone calls, ignoring the line of people waiting to pick their uhauls up, then called the next day reserved it for another day, called the next day and was told that I need to have it back by 12pm and it was 11:30am, my stuff was still inside it. Joyce Tyree, then proceeded to tell me that I could keep it past 12pm but would get charged 29.99$ (the cost of full 24 hours) I then asked her why I couldn't keep it for the whole 24 hours and she asked me if I was â€œretardedâ€, then I hung up. She called me back and told me that she changed her mind about me keeping it longer and told me that if I don't have it back by 12pm then she will call the police and report the vehicle stolen. I then reserved the same truck online, and turned it in the next day on time, while two very friendly and understanding workers helped me, Natalie and Calvin. I wouldn't recommend this uhaul location. Joyce is the manager, and is very very rude, poor customer service skills, and foul language.CORRINE S.

While the Dixie Hwy location was great, it was not where I selected to pick up the tow dolly. I selected, and my reservation showed, Beechgrove self storage. Upon my arrival they informed me that neither of the 2 tow dollies in their lot was for me. The reservation was made several weeks in advance and I was not informed of any changes. In addition the staff at Beechgrove was less than helpful and bordering on rude. They will never see me as a customer again. They are also not exactly a credit to Uhaul's reputation. Choosing them to represent your organization is a mistakeJOSEPH W.

She stuck to her script and was "nice" and all but her tone seemed to indicate she did not want to go through it or want to be there. I reserved the truck 3 days ahead of time. I made sure to get a pickup for 24 hours because I knew I could drive one. Got there at my reserved time and they told me they didn't have the truck that I had reserved that they had tried to call me while I was ar work. Very inconvenient considering they could have let me know some other way by texting or emailing me and it wasnt my fault that I couldn't answer their one call to let me know. Ended up having to drive a cargo van that didn't have an windows in the back which was more difficult to drive. I've used this location before and didnt have any problems but I won't be back.Stephen F.

I first scheduled my appointment online and when I showed up for the install I was told that the hitch wasn't in stock yet and that I had to wait for it to arrive and someone would call me to reschedule. I never got a call back so I called to find that the hitch was now in stock and I scheduled another appointment to have it installed. I showed up for my 2nd appointment to find out that they had an installer filling in and that he probably couldn't get to my car today so I rescheduled the appointment for the 3rd time. The install was completed the 3rd time however when I arrived home and opened the back hatch of my car I found the plastic under panel in my car. It wasn't put back on my car nor was I informed that it wasn't put back on my car. Horrible service and extremely frustrating that no one could give me a call to inform me that they couldn't complete the install the first and second time.Tracy D.

Again, I was very disappointed that the long haul one way truck did not have cruise control. My foot still hurts from pushing on the pedal for 18 hours. I won't rent a truck without cruise control ever again. I returned my truck after hours using the app/website which was so convenient! I really liked being able to take care of everything myself. This location appears to be an actual U-Haul business so it was laid out very nicely and easy to find. My one complaint is that other after hours dropoffs just kind of left their equipment in the lot which made it hard for me to park the truck in the assigned dropoff area. The rental process was great, however the equipment was not well maintained, clean, or with what should be a standard feature (cruise control).Carl G.

Horrible experience + facility. There are mice droppings all over the place. I hardly put anything in the unit because they're so dirty. Joyce was super rude & unhelpful. The faccility was dirty, & the unit door was too small (no dimensions on website). The move-in instructions that I received via email we're also incorrect. While checking in, Joyce lied about the free lock on the website and forced us to buy another. Once we were allowed to access the unit, there was a free lock inside.
