While the Dixie Hwy location was great, it was not where I selected to pick up the tow dolly. I selected, and my reservation showed, Beechgrove self storage. Upon my arrival they informed me that neither of the 2 tow dollies in their lot was for me. The reservation was made several weeks in advance and I was not informed of any changes. In addition the staff at Beechgrove was less than helpful and bordering on rude. They will never see me as a customer again. They are also not exactly a credit to Uhaul's reputation. Choosing them to represent your organization is a mistakeJOSEPH W.

The employee that helped me out did not seem to be having a good time. She stuck to her script and was "nice" and all but her tone seemed to indicate she did not want to go through it or want to be there. Seemed as if this was the one millionth customer to come do the same exact thing and she had to repeat her lines again. The gentleman that helped me get my truck was extremely rude, curt with his answers, and seemed like a really angry individual. I will let everyone I know to steer clear of this location. Terrible customer service which was really not necessary when moving is stressful enough.MICHAEL B.

I reserved the truck 3 days ahead of time. I made sure to get a pickup for 24 hours because I knew I could drive one. Got there at my reserved time and they told me they didn't have the truck that I had reserved that they had tried to call me while I was ar work. Very inconvenient considering they could have let me know some other way by texting or emailing me and it wasnt my fault that I couldn't answer their one call to let me know. Ended up having to drive a cargo van that didn't have an windows in the back which was more difficult to drive. I've used this location before and didnt have any problems but I won't be back.Stephen F.

I first scheduled my appointment online and when I showed up for the install I was told that the hitch wasn't in stock yet and that I had to wait for it to arrive and someone would call me to reschedule. I never got a call back so I called to find that the hitch was now in stock and I scheduled another appointment to have it installed. I showed up for my 2nd appointment to find out that they had an installer filling in and that he probably couldn't get to my car today so I rescheduled the appointment for the 3rd time. The install was completed the 3rd time however when I arrived home and opened the back hatch of my car I found the plastic under panel in my car. It wasn't put back on my car nor was I informed that it wasn't put back on my car. Horrible service and extremely frustrating that no one could give me a call to inform me that they couldn't complete the install the first and second time.Tracy D.

Again, I was very disappointed that the long haul one way truck did not have cruise control. My foot still hurts from pushing on the pedal for 18 hours. I won't rent a truck without cruise control ever again. I returned my truck after hours using the app/website which was so convenient! I really liked being able to take care of everything myself. This location appears to be an actual U-Haul business so it was laid out very nicely and easy to find. My one complaint is that other after hours dropoffs just kind of left their equipment in the lot which made it hard for me to park the truck in the assigned dropoff area. The rental process was great, however the equipment was not well maintained, clean, or with what should be a standard feature (cruise control).Carl G.

This location always seems to be short staffed and they are always busy. It took longer than I expected to drop off the trailer and I had to go inside to get someone even though they have signs posted to stay with your equipment. I was supposed to be able to check in on the app. My truck was not ready, and took nearly an hour to get it. Thankfully, I arrived before the store closed, or I would've been without a U-Haul. The customer service women were very helpful and very busy. Also not too happy with the site saying a 15' truck could move a 2bedroom apartment. Not even close, and I don't even have that much stuff compared to other people. Wasted money on that truck when I could've done it in one trip with something larger instead of moving 1.5 hours away and having to do that trip twice in one day! And why is a dolly extra? Home Depot doesn't charge extra for their dollies, plus they come with a lock on the back so your valuables are safe overnight, unlike this U-Haul, and I had to worry about someone stealing my stuff I loaded up in it last night all night. I ended up not even using the dolly or the moving pads I paid for at all but didn't want to not have them just in case. Very unhappy with U-Haul and will not be using this business again.Tiffany B.

Horrible experience + facility. There are mice droppings all over the place. I hardly put anything in the unit because they're so dirty. Joyce was super rude & unhelpful. The faccility was dirty, & the unit door was too small (no dimensions on website). The move-in instructions that I received via email we're also incorrect. While checking in, Joyce lied about the free lock on the website and forced us to buy another. Once we were allowed to access the unit, there was a free lock inside. However Joyce won't let you return the brand new, unopened lock that she forced you to purchase 2 minutes ago.Jess B. | Online Move In

This location was amazing. Despite being the end of the month and them being super busy, they allowed me to pick my truck up a day early. When I came in the lady behind the counter was dismissive and not interested in helping me. I stood there for over 5 mins (with no one in front of me) before she even acknowledged me. When I said I make a reservation online, she said we dont have any of those this morning. i asked do you have once for me (frist and last name) she said "no you must have done it wrong" I gave her the confirmation code from me email and she said that wasnt even valid and she couldnt do anything with it. I realize some times things dont work right, and if she were kind about this, I would be ok with it. But because she was clearly annoyed with me being there, I will look for a different provider next time, and if I decide to use U Haul it will certainly not be this locationJAMES K.

They are running abit amok, lengthy times to process a customer. Took 45 min to get me out. Need more people there. Mechanic running all ove rather place doing check ins checkouts at computer while Haisley walking out back to hook up a trailer, couldn't find an extension poured, I had to pay $13 for an adapter. The trailer did not have a jack and was very heavy and so I could not park it while unloading and go to my other location. Upon return I waited in line for 25 minutes, the lead girl there noticed my truck Park and asked if I had to return finally and told me to just drive around back and park it next to the other one which I did, and then came in the back door to wave my hand to get help to unhook it/return process, which took another 20 minutes before mechanic was free, he was clearly frazzled shaking his head (95 degrees outside), wrestled it off and slid it on the ground up hill to park it and said there good to go, was otherwise professional and friendly. Then I got a call 6 hrs later from the 3rd girl there asking how much longer I need to have it , I informed her I returned it 6 hrs ago. She blamed the mechanic. I feel sorry for them all.DANIEL H.
