The truck I was assigned was at the back of the line of trucks so 4 trucks had to be moved for me to drive out.Max B.
The people working the front desk were extremely rude. I had to wait almost an hour at the U-haul place because there wasn't a truck ready, despite me making a reservation. And they were not apologetic about it in any way. Uhaul also charged me in the final bill for certain items it didn't even get me. Truly a terrible experience and I will try to never use Uhaul againTaylor G.

Customer service was wonderful. The staff at check in and check out was superior. The gentlemen you have working on the outside lot were very helpful. It was raining when I picked up my truck and one young African American member of your outside team helped me register my rented truck over my IPhone. This guy was great! He was so polite and considerate. He took time to really help. In addition, the woman who rented me my truck was patient and very pleasant. As a senior citizen, I really appreciated her ready smile! Counter help was unhelpful.My reservation was originally at a closer location but I was notified the previous day that I had to go to this one. They had the truck, but told me I had to pickup my supplies at the first location. To which I refused, so they told me I would have to re- purchase the same supplies here. I said I wasn't going to buy stuff twice and I wasn't going to the original location. Manager interceded and was very nice and corrected the situation . This branch had no furniture dollies for rent so I had to buy one. A bit confusing about how to get the vehicle and load supplies. Also truck had damage that was not in the photos but was actually noted on the side of the door with little stickers and tape all over the top of the windshield gasket. I submitted new photos but nobody on site took any interest in that part of the process.Jerome N.

The ceiling of our 26' truck leaked in several places and needs repair--and of course the renter can't know this until they have the truck already and it starts raining. Placing signs stating in the truck stating that this is a risk doesn't cut it because protection from the elements is the reason I'm renting the truck in the first place! I suggest that UHaul TEST their trucks periodically for roof leaks so the issue can be addressed. Otherwise this business did a good job.Keturah K.

Was told by UHaul office that I could add an authorized driver and proceed to self checkin/pickup, only to be told otherwise at the local pickup location. I took the chance to do business with this location. The truck was clean. The location was easy to find. The commute seem quick. The customer service did not reach up to meet those same expectations. The young lady walked into her shift, and she seem ready. She blitz through her speech leaving me confused on my responsibilities as a customer. I said, â€œ I didn't understand what you said.â€ Her facial expressions seem unease as though as I asked her to do twenty backflips with that speech. She repeated half the speech, and she handed me the pamphlet. Is she causing the 2.5 stars on Yelp?Donta H.

Owner called the locksmith to open up the truck I return overnight when I told him I was on my way immediately to return the key I had forgotten. He refused to cancel the locksmith and demanded I pay anyway even though I returned the keys before the locksmith even opened the door, I unlocked it for him. Completely ridiculous.LOGAN G.

Not taking credit cards over the phone anymore was very problematic. We needed to pay for the equipment ahead of time as we weren't going to have someone on hand to pay the day of. There was a lot of difficulty trying to make this situation work.Christine M.
The female associate who assisted me was phenomenal. She adeptly juggled multiple people with complex issues and got me into my rental equipment quickly. The only issue with this location is the very limited space for after hours equipment returns, which is a function of DC and I can't fault anyone there for.Shayna H.

Pick-up on Thurs. 5th, the staff was awsome!! The young man that waited on Us, gave "Excellent" customer service珞 and he wasn't even supposed to work the customer service desk. Thank You so much!!, for your professional assistance. Now! the return, was like "We owed them somethin from around the way樂 Both associates had attitudes and was very unprofessional. Ms. Marcella Jones was nice to work with and very pleasant. She quickly corrected the daily rate I was going to be charged by the contract that was transferred to their location. The gentlemen working the yard during pick up and drop off were awesome and got me taken care of quickly. Excellent Team at Blandensburgh (DC) location. RE contract 20884297 - Fort Washington location. Very disappointed with that store and team. I asked for a confirmation during reservation that equipment was ready - did not receive. Called day of rental, staff told me equipment was ready. Arrived to have a trailer covered in asphalt and/or motorl oil hooked up to my truck. Staff new the trailer was in bad shape, not acceptable for moving furniture but still tried to get the trailer out the door. The $50 inconvenience fee credited was a nice gesture but hardly made up for the fuel and time spent traveling to Fort Washington especially when I checked on the status of the equipment before leaving to pick it up.Steven T.
