Rosa BThe first Staff I spoke as I entered made me feel not welcome, just by the tone of her voice. She made me feel like I was less of a human being and did not deserve service. I'm African and she is African American. I was polite and did not raise my voice but yet she acted as if she got personal problems with me. I do not know this woman. An African American, and Asian customer came in and they got well serviced; they were spoken to politely, and the staff did their reservations on the computer. But for me they asked me In A rude manner to scan the bar and do it myself. For my sanity I moved over to the next staff who politely assisted me but she made do it on the phone. Because of the first staff, I give a one star.

JEFFREY RTwo problems. The drivers door is slightly damaged and difficult to open and close. There's a message saying that the air in the tires is not correct and it feels like it's partially flat as I drive.
WILLIAM RReiterating what I said in my previous revenue, in this instance due to the original location being unable to accept the drop off, and changing the location did not give enough time for these guys to be informed, they handled it with professionalism, courtesy, and humor. An awesome experience.

rodney bThe new self check out system is less than desirable. It's cumbersome and not user friendly. If I wanted to work for U-Haul I would apply for a position. It took more time for me to continue to inquire of the attending representative about the system than it would have taken for them to check me out as days of old. Sometimes if the system isn't broken don't try to fix it. I don't think I will be coming back to this time consuming new system.

She was able to provide us with a utility dolly that we reserved. She was very professional and personable. She actually remembered my husband when he rented a dolly to move our daughter out of her dorm. We truly appreciate her making this an effortless experience for us.

Jasmine FTook U-Haul trailer on a long-haul move. While traveling there was rain. Trailer leaked all over our HHG. When U-Haul sent someone out to address this issue for the remainder of the trip the technician said he fixed the top of the trailer so it would not leak for the rest of the trip. When we got back to our hotel, I decided to look on top of the trailer and to my dismay nothing was done at all to fix the leak issue. If this is the way customers are treated, they should find new techs to address the issues. Now, they don't want to pay any damages. Total nightmare. U-Haul needs to step up and replace old equipment.

STEPHEN SOne of your gentle men that work their has a very nasty customer service I had to leave and come back ? Before I left he was slamming the phone and having attitude with some of the customers including me. He need to be retrained or coach to deal with customers better

Komi TI was given a truck near empty and told I had to return the truck with a quarter tank of gas or be charged $25 in fuel cost. Why am giving UHaul a quarter tank of gas when I was given the truck with 1/8 tank of gas?
KYLE EThe one girl was visiting the location for the day and tried the best she could. The guys there couldn't do anything but get the rentals ready. B/c of that she was overworked. Nonetheless, we had tire issues on the trailer during our rental

KATHY JGreat job getting people into their rentals and on their way. Very helpful especially to those of us who are NOT computer savvy with the use of the qr code emblem (the square) where take a picture and follow the prompts. What would be helpful for those of us who use the phone only to talk is when we preregister tell us to look for an email notice and follow the prompts to save time when you come to pick-up. Otherwise not excellent but outstanding process at that location.
Cassandra BIt took me an hour from arrival to leave in my truck. I almost missed my move in time because of it.
JOANNA CThe lady at the desk was very rude and she took more than 45 minutes to check us out, When we picked up the van the antifreeze, break fluid and transmission oil was completely empty. We called in to complain that the vehicle was not maintained, we were asked to buy the anti freeze, break and transmission fluid and we will be refunded. On the second day of rental I called in and told one of the rep. that will will extend our rental till 5pm the following on 07/19/2024, she said that will extend it. We got a call around 9am of the the 07/09/2024 to return the vehicle or we will be charged an extra $350.00. I told the lady on the phone that we asked for an extension and the lady we spoke with previously said she was going to extent the rental until 5pm. The lady that made the call said she does not care, if we do not return the van the an extra $350.00 will be charged. We have to suspend all we were supposed to do that day to return that van. earlier than we were supposed to. Totally dissatisfied with the services at your Bladensburg road location.: Reasons, More than an hour to be checked out, poor vehicle: no Antifreeze, break fluid, and transmission oil. etc. Poor services.
Eze NAllow parking of customers vehicle on your property. Crossing 4 lanes of traffic is not safe.

Marcellla Jones was extremely helpful in ensuring that I got the right equipment for my move. Amber Hicks was extremely graceful and respectful in ensuring that my possessions were stored properly. This was a hectic day and it could have been very stressful but because of the professionalism, kindness and can do attitude of the entire staff the day ended peaceful and joyful!

Tim K | First ImpressionsThe proffesionalism and kindness of the staff varied based on their mood. Getting started was a nightmare yet pressed for time I stayed there. The storage units there are the back halves of older 10ft trucks placed side by side. Being kept outside I should have been able to have 24 access. I am sure the manager tried her best but this location was the location for extra trucks. There is no customer parking available yet they managed to fill every inch with a truck. First few times I had to request to have a truck removed from infront of my storage unit. After that, they avoided parking one infront of my unit. I made it a point to have everyting out within my 30 days. I refused to pay close to $200.00 a month with the service and inconvenience I was put thru. My leaving seemed to have made everyone happy including myself. Again, I am sure the manager did her best. The individual that opened my account was the worst. She showed no signs of wanting to help me. But had no issues helping others that came in after me. I wanted to F******** scream. The guys at this location seemed much more accomidating, friendlier, and very helpful I wish I had gotten names. Not that it matters I hope to never have to go back there again.
