Open the store on time! Your posted open time is 7:00AM. The store opened 10 minutes later. As I waited for the store to open, I watched U-Haul employees drive up and park their cars at the front of the store in the spaces for U-Haul customers. Both of these actions, tell me that U-Haul, at this location , do NOT value their customersJohn B.
The rental agent was great. She was very polite and knowledgeable. She actually assisted in the trailer hook up and made sure everything was correct. The gentlemen on the outside during pick up and return were friendly and helpful.Dwane K.

I filled everything out online including payment and copy of my driver's license. When I get there, one person is at the counter with a customer. They don't acknowledge me walking in and continue with the other customer. What I expected to take 5 minutes ends up taking 20 minutes. All the time I spent online was for nothing. They did a great job of getting me set up and on my way. The Manager on hand actually hooked me up to the trailer(prior rental site was no help to me). I knew quite well how to do it but I really appreciated it. Jordan W was the person who finished up helping me coordinate the exit as well as check it in. Super nice and very knowledgeable. I had 24 hour access and on sevearl occausions i had to load my trailer on the side of the highway due to all of the uhaul trucks blocking the gate. that was a real inconvience due to my time being money.RONALD S. | Overall Experience
The employees very rude. I rent transport trailer at 6:30 and I can bring it back at 6:30 as 24 hour rental. I get call from a lady at 11 telling me I'm supposed to bring the trailer back at 11 so the next customer can book it which is I didn't put the return time at 11. And we return it around 1:40 guy ask us to back up the trailer in very tiny spot between many trucks we know where not supposed to do that because they can haul it with forklift we're not allowed to back up return trailers. But they made us do it we backed up many time and couldn't get it between trucks so they decided to disconnect the trailer from our truck and let us go free. Older male was shaking he's hands and told us to go in a very rude way. Bad business I regret spending every penny in this place. I don't recommend this place because everyone deserves to be treated respectfully and nice.Moussa A.
The manager sold a faulty lock but did not give a refund when replaced. He called and said a month was paid already, then charged a late fee when it wasn't paid. When I ask a employee outside about gas and how much I needed to bring it back with he was unsure and said he thinks 1/4 tank. The agent when I picked up the car was completely incompetent. He couldn't find my reservation and said they didn't have a truck. Luckily another person was there who stepped in and helped him to find the reservation. The truck had no air conditioner and smelled of cigarettes. I think your agent was smoking right before I got in. The return was even worse. I drove a total of 10 miles in the week I had the truck. I put in at least $15 and there's no way that the gas tank was full when I picked it up. I told the man at the counter and he blatantly told me he didn't care. The original agent also told me my bill should be less since I wasn't going to be driving as far. It was not so I don't know if he lied to me or your agent didn't catch it but the entire process was incredibly painful.Kelly S.

At first they didn't have a truck the size I had made a reservation for and then one truck had just got there. They didn't inspect it, just told us to take a picture of the gas and return it at that same level after we asked. One lady was helping me, but then just walked away to tend to her kids. Another employee looked like he had been injured, another employee was having problems logging the keys with the trucks. I waited for a long time to just be attended to as the employees seemed busy with non work related stuff. Also, there was no dolly as I had reserved, I asked for a refund, but not sure if I received one as they didn't have a functioning printer. It was a mess and I would not go back to that location.Ashley G.

Taking materials to help Ky flooding victims, and could NOT get a discount, or even speak to someone who cared. Trailer on lot, but workers could not find for 20 minutes. Turn in required two visits to U-haul....and that does not count when I dropped it off. Shame on U-Hual for not helping our community in time of disaster. For that reason alone, I will NOT rent another U-Haul. And I will tell all I know about getting no help with Ky disaster relief.Bart L.

I am 5 feet tall and never have driven a 10 foot truck. They said no prob and handed me keys. No instruction. Got to truck. No way to raise seat, lower steering column, change mirrors. Couldn't figure out some of features like AC, turn off wipers. Came back in to ask and their response was it's on the dash with a sneer. Came out answered one question and left.Donna C.

The Bardstown location was fantastic. The people were kind, courteous and very helpful. This was a stark contrast to the 3413 Collins lane location where my adventure started. I am grateful that the Bardstown team cared enough about me to help.Martin D.
The truck that was given to us was a absolute hazard! The truck had not been maintenance at all. Once leaving the parking lot to put gas in it because we were told it was on a fourth of a tank. It actually was less than that. However we were on a time schedule so we decided to just go put gas it in. The truck then preceded to start to over heat and smoke from the engine and started letting in a gas smell through the vents. Becoming a life threatening hazard. I also have full video footage of this whole Fiasco for who it may concern. The location manager told us he knew the check engine light was on already and it was just a sensor. Obviously it wasn't. He then switches us to another truck after wait a hour for them to come 2 miles down the street. I could continue to go in depth about how bad this experience was but like the manager showed little interest in our safety i doubt uhaul will as well. Horrible experience!Jon R.

The property manager was great. The company as a whole needs to do better on pricing and access. I was there for a little over a year and seen two price increases. No additional space, no 24 hour access but price increases were steady. The company should do more for disabled veterans. I would have stayed but the price increases were ridiculous. I wrote the area manager and he basically said he felt they were competitiveâ€¦To who? This is Kentucky and rural okolona. I was disappointed so I vacated immediately.Erika S.

I also only had 30 days for a free unit . I had to reach out to the 800 number as no one wanted to pick up my call . I sent several emails . Still, we continued to receive emails demanding payment for the following month and threatening liens and other procedures if we didn't pay up. It wasn't until we went back and visited in person, again, that the situation got resolved. Every time I went in to make a payment on my storage unit, I waited at least 30 minutes to an hour every time. I waited so long once that the person behind the counter promised he would credit my account $25. But then he had "computer issues" and said that he would credit my card the next day. That credit never came. I mentioned it to someone the next month, and they said they would take care of it, but they didn't. I gave up trying to get it back.
