James Jackson I feel is a true asset to your company and your company should feel fortunate to have this person. He is a retired vet with plans to retire to Florida soon. Upon arrival to return Van, the only employee visibly insight was uncommunicative to a line of customers waiting, as I was getting settled into the line and taking my jacket/hate/scarf off due to the extreme cold, he expressed some unpleasant comments about whatever he was unhappy about, and went outside the building. He didn't state to anyone what he was doing, and was gone for a long time, only to return after checking 3 rentals in (including mine) on his mobile device. While outside another employee came in about 15-20 minutes after the other one went outside, and you could tell from his face that he wasn't happy that 5 people were waiting for help, with a few others in the front of the store waiting with who they had brought to get something from this branch. Neither employee addressed anyone, but seemed to have worked out whatever they would be doing once inside at the service counters, but everyone just continue to stand there waiting for whatever the next step was to come. I'd recommend that all employees make some effort to acknowledge clients upon entering and at the very least communicate to them what they are doing, so you can better understand what is going on, as it appeared that the primary person at the service desk was overwhelmed that there were so many things to do in order to serve the clients, and so little people to help him accomplish the tasks. Fortunately, this has been a rare experience for me, as I am usually always met with better customer service.

Tire pressure was low, staff was unprofessional, they charged me insurance when I said I didn’t want it. There were 3 people hanging around talking when I pulled up to return it. I sat there for 5-10 minutes with nobody helping me. Finally a guy (NOT on the clock or in uniform) came over to check me back in.

The truck was old with ~150000 miles. It was very noisy, probably some technical issues and driving was challenging - too loose. It might be dangerous for the long haul..

The pick up and return was much slower than previous trips to this facility. I was unable to book on line. The facility would not show the equipment as available therefore I had to call and wait quite a while for someone to respond to the phone call.

Ensure that the days leading up to the holidays are accounted for; this place doesn't seem to be managed well when there was only 1 visible employee in the shop. The lazy attitude towards not wanting the truck was surprising, and not what you want to hear from a worker. Makes you only wonder what they say behind the customers' backs.

Our pick up experience was horrible. We were changed 5 times. Sent to one location and couldn't even get to the truck. Was then sent to the final place. Had to drive over 60 miles out of our way. This location didn't do a good job of explaining the check out procedure. They failed to tell me I would get a text that I needed to answer about the condition of the truck.

I rented a motorcycle trailer. I have done so a number of times in the past year or two. This is the 2nd time they tried to set me up with a junky, rusty trailer that didn't even have working tail lights. I protested and I was then set up with a newer trailer that did have working lights. Tell the folks at the 4128 Bardstown Rd. location to get rid of that rusty trailer.

Our trailer leaked and soaked all our belongings and we were sent to the insurance company. Besides our items were not destroyed only broken we have been pushed off. There was no service recovery nothing was offered to us. Poor statement of customer service. The only reason we rented the trailer was due to my mother in law passed away and we had to do something with her belongings. We drove over 900 miles and stressed with everything else going on and dealing with a death only be deal with horrible customer service

Service was very easy and smooth. I really liked the 24 hour drop off service. The website was very easy to use and seamless.

Well first you can make sure than when a customer reserve a truck with a credit card days in advance they need to make sure the truck is available for that time reserved. I didn't get my truck untill almost 4 hours after the time I was supposed to. I was told that I would receive a discount off the milage for the inconveniences the next day. Went to return the truck the next day and was told by a different employee that I could not get a discount. Because of the delay in getting the truck, we were behind schedule moving and I had to pay for another night at the hotel,not to mention the lost wages of me having to leave work a half a day to pick up a truck that wasn't available. Literally the worst managed uhual store I have ever seen.

I did my "check in" online so that I wouldn't have wait as long in the store. The lady who handled my paperwork was completely oblivious to this and apprarently had no way to look this up, or neglected to do so. I had to do my whole order over, even tho I told her I already did online. Then I asked for my dolly, which should have already been in the truck, and she told me it cost extra to get a dolly. I replied that I already had it included in the reservation for $7.00 and that it was supposed to be in the truck already. This was very frustrating. What's the point of an online check in to make things "faster" if Im just gonna have to redo it all when I actually get inside the store? There was nothing fast about it. Outside of that, everything went well. The equipment worked great and the gentleman that helped me with the dolly was awesome.

Well, we discovered 20 minutes after we dropped off the truck around 9:30 am that we had left our two pairs of sunglasses on the truck's dashboard. We called immediately and were transferred to someone at a different location because this location was busy. The very nice person we talked to said she'd send a message to this location to have them check the truck and that someone there would call us back. It's 10:30 pm now and we haven't heard anything. We will call tomorrow, but a quicker response would have been welcomed. I'd expect that this happens fairly often. Thanks

I stiff at the counter for about 10 minutes while they kept helping everyone else. Calling other people up to the counter, people standing around doing nothing. No communication, nothing. So after one worker was done with a customer, she went up to leave and I said “excuse me, I have a reservation” and she looked pretty annoyed that I was even talking to her. I was told I just drop the trailer off at the side of the building when done. Was t informed of the check in process I had to do. Thank god I read the papers. But then I had an issue with your website. Horrible customer service.

I originally had rented from the Boost Mobile on New Cut Rd - my reservation was for 10AM & was told we had until 30 minutes after to pick up - I arrived at this location at 10:20AM - never seeing a truck anywhere when I pulled in - stood in their line inside for 10 minutes then it's finally my turn at 10:32 to be told they gave my truck away I wasn't there - I explained I've been here & in your line & there was never even a truck here! He then proceeds to locate me a truck & he did....20 miles out from my original location - my hands were tied had to have a truck = Moving! Then he proceeds to tell me no problems - I can return my truck to the Boost location on New Cut Rd - bring in my paperwork & he'll adjust my pricing - which was another Lie! I arrived at your Bardstown Rd location & they had my truck went over my paperwork - didn't try to rush me out the door like the New Cut Rd location did & made sure we understood & were clear on everything & thank goodness they did because that's when this gentleman told me if I took this truck to the New Cut location I would have been charged another $400!! I'm sorry - but - this is absolutely Unacceptable & very bad business!! When moving it is common sense that Everyone is on a Budget & this experience with Uhaul New Cut Rd location was the worst - I was lied to from the start - cost me more money than allowed because of the miles I had to end up going to get the truck on top of this location on New Cut Rd almost cost me an additional $400 - Unacceptable! Your Bardstown Rd location however were excellent - customer service/ taking the extra step to make sure someone understands all - Exceptional! I will never use the New Cut Rd location nor recommend it to anyone else - it's just a shame to have been done that way!

I was overcharged and when they stated they issued me 2 refunds i still have not received a refund on my card. The lady that checked me out was having issues with her computer. But she did give me two different receipts where it shows I was issued a refund. I should have one $10 refund and one $15 refund. Very bad experience
