not happy about the amount of gas it was supposed to have, I was told it had about 3/8th of a tank, where it had less than 1/4th of a tank full. i had to put $25 dollars or be charged $3.50 per gallon. A nd the other rip off was being charged $1.09 per mile when a different u-haul store charged me .79 cents per mile 2 days before.

Great customer service from beginning to end. At the end I noticed how quickly they swept and mopped the truck, although I brought it practically clean. Good job fellows. Only issue I had was the back door was a little stiff, like the rails were dragging, it was hard to pull down. Thank you

I made prior arrangements to return to the Austin Highway location. I returned after hours and after I unloaded the trailer from the vehicle, I went on the website and it was telling me to return it to a different location on San Pedro. This raised concerns as it was too late to doing anything because the trailer was too heavy to reload. It was also frustrating for this to happen after prior arrangements had been made when I reserved online through the 800 number.

Staff charged me for insurance on rental I specifically said I didn't want. Beginning mileage on the vehicle was incorrectly documented on the paperwork. Vehicle had 3500 miles when i was given the keys and paperwork said 3496.

Mileage on my paperwork did not coordinate with my mileage on the rental van, van was filthy on the outside, I took it because I needed it immediately and was told that was only one available.

Your staff was absolutely accommodating, professional and very courteous. When I was making the paperwork the front desk was contacted by the young man who had hooked up the trailer so that I could see that I should probably soon update wiring harness. I appreciate his concern for my safety. My only regret is that I failed to get his name but the guys at the front desk can tell you his name.

Dropped truck at 10pm, no one on site (it was closed) and no signage or instructions on how to drop off/drop box location, eventually found mail slot to drop key towards back of building covered by a truck in front of it, wasn't a bad experience but wandering around in the cold and dark didn't help and they charged me $20 for drop off service, what service?

This store is horrible from beginning to end... first manager Ray did not want to hour 24 hour reservervation and when he saw email confirmation, he stated that shouldn't have been done ..... truck was 1995 and right side mirror never worked properly even with manual assist from crew member Trevino....Jeff did not show how to utilize functions of truck... when I brought back odometer stated 925 miles used when I just used 30 miles.... I ended up paying 40 miles because Trevino stated it was either 40 or 92 miles.. they could not calculate actual miles.... this is fraudulent practice and they may be gouging prices due to pandemic... I am a registered nurse and am appalled this service preys on circumstances... will never enter that store or refer any of my nurse friends.... hope you address this accordingly... perhaps the media would be interested... Store is on Austin Highway...

The manager person Ray I was trying to pay cash due to credit card lost. I was told manager was only one who could process cash payment. I was in line awaiting for over 20 minutes. A male customer came in and was going to pay for propane he was in line behind me and finally after several minutes manager came in. He saw the male in the next booth and stated to me he would take care of him because he was paying for propane I was at the facility for over 30 minutes awaiting then manager attended to me I was appalled and felt he discriminated because I was a woman or not important customer. My overall experience with uhaul has been terrible and infuriating. It would take a miracle for me to ever even consider using uhaul ever again. I spent over 3 hours on the phone with uhaul and spoke to various people. I made my reservation a week in advance, but they tell me the day before that my pick up location changed to a location 30 minutes away. 30 minutes turns in to an hour there and back. In addition, the guy I spoke to on the phone was being condescending and just restating 30 minutes. He at least repeated it 5 times. I get it is 30 minutes but I had a short period of time to load my 3 bedroom home nearly alone. Rack an additional hour and a half because their app and website wouldn't give me the option to pick up. Plus an additional hour and a half to edit my reservation. Mind you they couldn't even help resolve my issue. I had to call multiple locations and I located what I needed. Then I had to call back to tell them how to fix it. Then instead of transferring me to the correct person after resolving the , my call gets lost and I spent another 30 minutes waiting to restate the fix for my reservation. 1. Update your system for locating equipment 2. Have shorter wait times 3. Have a properly functioning app and website 4. Better customer service

Returning was a complete disaster. Was suppose to be a 24 hour drop at Ace auto repair. No one onsite and gates were chained locked so I could not drop off trucks. I called and left a message. Decided to call U-Haul customer service. I was on hold for 19 minutes. Rep sent me to Austin hey location. Said it's a 24 hour drop center. Center was closed but it was an open parking lot. I left the trucks but there was no where to drop keys off. I called U-Haul customer service again. On hold for 21 minutes. They said to go ahead take keys and return keys next day; I explained I was headed back to Houston and would not be able to return keys in SA until after 4pm but should be able to return the keys by 6pm. Rep said she would note the Reservation and it should not be a problem. Received call from Austin hey center manager threatening to charge me another rental if the keys were no brought in before 5. Manager said because of Covid 19 the drop box for keys was no longer allowed. This makes no sense. It's a mail slot on the door; this defeats the purpose of your contactless return process. I rented a truck at the beginning of September from the location in Cypress, TX and returned the keys in the drop key mail box there. U-Haul has to get the return process smoothed our in SA along with the wait times in customer service.
