I asked the worker if I could return the trailer to any Uhaul location, he said yes then once we went to return the trailer to the location they told me I had to take it back to the main location. Dirt and rock in the trailer from the previous user. Right hinge was damaged, making it hard to close and align the loading gate. This is the second time in two months that we have rented from Ray and his crew. They are wonderful to work with, great sense of humor, very professional. I recommend them to anyone renting U-Haul in San Antonio.John G.
Service for the rental was not the best, the young lady at the counter greeted me with "what's up"....not good afternoon or how can I help you, or thank you for coming in...just "what's up", very unprofessional. I told her I could return the trailer overnight and she told me not to because they were renovating expecting a lot of returns over night and she didn't want to over work the morning crew! Wow. So she instructed me to return the trailer after 7am instead. I went about my business, completed my one quick load and returned to the store before they closed. The young lady Asher was very displeased and bothered that I was returning the same evening and asked me if I could return the trailer tomorrow! Wow! I told her no because I was done with the trailer and didn't have room to park it at home over night. She gave a little attitude and told me to park in the back and wait to be unhooked. I will never return to this location nor will I recommend this location due to the poor customer service. As a previous uhaul GM for store 744053, I would highly recommend your GM place a more customer service friendly representative to run your counter. An employee such as Asher can definitely ruin the experience for many of your renters. Not to mention all the money that is being lost on the P&L due to the propane tank being out of order. Asher told several customers that the propane tank was waiting on parts and to return in 2 weeks! Wow! Thank you.DAVID L.

There's other places to rent from like all the â€œquik shopsâ€ but after calling multiple I learned they do not keep their inventory up to date with the website and have no customer service skills. The 15' truck was absolutely horrible filthy inside outside was also very dirty, very poorly maintained, the occlude staff was extremely rude, made me wait 22 minutes before acknowledging I was even there, all the while the female was speaking with a of hers, about the friends husbands need Medicare part A&B. Don't make people feel like they are criminals when renting a vehicle. I was called two days in a row before the rental period explaining that I needed a drivers license and major credit card to rent. Then, when I went to pick up the vehicle, the attendant actually called my cell phone as I stood there to ensure it was my number. Then she called my wife (my second point of contact) to ensure her phone actually worked and was the right number. I felt like I was a criminal trying to rent a vehicle.Jawn O.

I was disappointed in your customer service. The fuel gas indicator is different to the one on my receipt. The Uhaul employee did not check fuel to ensure the delivery fuel limit gauge is accurate and he documented on receipt. Due to ignoring to check fuel, Uhaul charged credit card additional $69.30 on credit card, which is inaccurate. I have pictures of gas fuel indicator showed on dashboard before picking up truck and after dropping of truck. I called multiple times bout your customer service line is busy. My debit card had a fraudulent charge and was deactivated a few days before my payment was due. I called uhaul and spoke with a representative told her the situation not only did she show empathy she notated the account and when I got my new card the branch supervisor waived the late charge. The staff at this particular location are phenomenal. I was always able to get my questions answered quickly when I had them. Before I moved out, I had a situation where the movers were delayed. The manager sent one of the employees with a bottle of water. Also talked to me to check if there was anything that could be done to help. I'm in customer service. Even though we'd moved out & turned in the gate key card on 12.31.21-Friday & we were told we'd get an email receipt that following Monday, it never came. Instead we got emails saying "your next rent payment is due". I called complaining to an operator, who left a message for the store, that we'd already moved out of the unit. No one from that uhaul ever called us back. It's now 14 days later & still no receipt, nor proof that they'd even checked the unit we'd vacated, yet. There were often employees just standing around when we'd stopped in during our rental period there too. Empower your frontline workers to make decisions or develop an algorithm or rules of engagement to use with the customer. It makes them look incompetent and it is not an efficient way to do business.
