Make sure to have an adequate number of vehicles available. The one I reserved was not available due to maintenance. Had to take a larger one which was more than I needed, but did the job.

Need to hire additional employees. Not enough people were working so it took forever to pick up my reservation. Long line. The guy was nice and strapped the car up and put his best foot forward while helping so that was appreciated.

JEREMIAH M.I ordered a dolly but the dolly was not in the truck I ordered a 26 foot truck but they could not find the keys and had to get a 20 foot truck and make two trips. So no I'm not satisfied or happy I always use U-Haul but now I think I'm gonna have to go with your competitors in the future. I'd like to see the refund of the dolly since there wasn't one in there.

There are several ways to make the system better. Maybe walkie talkies would help as our gal was running in and outside the whole time. Employees were over stressed. It was suggested I go to another larger location. Which I did request truck from another location but Uhaul online moved my pickup store.

I can not believe U-Haul keep these living bags of human excrement employeed with their company. I thought U-Haul was trying to be the king of the self move business and not the slumlords. I will tell everyone I know how terrible this experience was and how no one helped me resolve the issues created by U-Haul and no one offered any kind of compensation for the extra stress and hassle created by the garbage employees. Jeremy M.First off, the trailer plug did not function properly. So my trailer brake lights wouldn't work. I was told this was my responsibility to check, but not sure how I check this without my trailer with me. Secondly I returned the truck on the tuesday, I told them the trailer plug wasn't working. I then got a call on friday asking if I was going to return the truck .They lost the truck on their own property and never checked it in. When it got all figured out I asked that the manager give me a call. I never got a call. I've rented two trucks from uhaul in my life. I won't rent a third.

Dan O.I rented a 10' truck on Monday the 23rd... I opted to be "self insured". There was a small dent on the front of the truck. I went right back and asked the man who rented me the truck to Please come outside and witness it before I drove off. He sat down and told me it wasn't his job. I asked again with a Please and he told me to ask someone else. I said I came back inside because I didn't see anyone else. Then he said to email a photo to the corporate office. I don't use a smart phone. He still refused to get out of the chair..... I've never seen anyone go through so much effort to avoid 30 seconds worth of work while they're already doing nothing. I walked outside and saw the Manager, told her what happened and said I can't believe he's too lazy to come outside for 30 seconds. She told me that was inappropriate and I agreed. She meant me not him. She told me the word "lazy" was also offensive and not to use it. I'm 53 and don't need someone half my age teaching me etiquette... I said again he's getting paid, I'm the only customer here and he refused to get out of the chair. I call that lazy. She told me NOT to use that word... I said one more time I think he's lazy but at least he's got a job. She flew off the handle and tried to bait me into conflict. I figured out later that if I lost my "cool" she could cancel my contract and even call the Police. All this caught me off guard but it's quite obvious she's done this before... My 85 year old Mom and I looked at each other, shrugged our shoulders and left. I still can't figure out how I was able to illicit such an negative reaction from these 2 employees but I did. One went out his way to be lazy and the other was confrontational... I don't get it, but I'll never use Uhaul again... as GOD is my witness. If Dawn the wanabe manager and her lazy side kick Tyrone want to operate your business in that way, that's your problem, not mine.

Pedro E.There was a line of customers when I arrived to pick up the truck, which is fine. However, the time it took to process each customer was painfully slow. The Medium moving boxes I paid for were not loaded into the truck and I had to come back for them. The left front tire was low (enough to trigger the warning on the dash) and I had to come back and wait in line for another 25m for a tech to put air in it. I lost an hour and half of my paid movers time just driving back and forth to U-Haul and waiting in line.

kelly S.I had a trailer reserved for the day on line 2 weeks before my pick up date. I was called at 1 pm on my pick up date to confirm the I was coming by and they change the location for pick up. I show up at 3 pm (2 hours later at the NEW location) and was told they did not have a trailer for me??? They then start looking for one and find it 30 minutes away!! The now new location (second one) has the trailer and says I MUST return it to them or face a $40 drop off fee. NONE of the U-Haul employees could give a crap about the lack of service they provided. They were VERY interested in the cookies on the desk and how soon they were to get off work. Go to Ryder at least they are pros.
