This was our first experience with renting a vehicle. Take note that there is some conflict in your program. I did call u-Haul to reserve a truck and to â€œrentâ€ the use of a 12 pk packing blankets for 10.00. Did not order on line but actually talked to a representative. My order was confirmed prior to pickup. When we arrived to pickup vehicle the employee did not have that request and there were no blankets available. We made do without them for our move but it's something to perhaps improve on for customer service and satisfaction. Otherwise I was completely satisfied with U-Hauls service and affordability. Made the move much more effective and pleasant. Would definitely recommend your company to others!Karen M.

Only issues I had firstly I had booked a 10x15 unit online in advance almost a week before. when I got to the facility the unit was not availbale. It was my moving day so I was really stuck. The representative gave me 2 10x10 units but now I will be paying 300 plus dollars in storage. I was very disappointed but what could I do had no other option as by then there were no more 10x15 rooms available. I had booked a box dolly as well that was no available as well.All in all a very stressfull experience. But the employees were helpful.narinder s. | First Impressions

I have rented 6' x 12' trailers 4 times in 2022 and one of the rentals was from Miramichi New Brunswick to Edmonton Alberta. In all of these rentals the running lights did not work and was forced to use 4 way flashers.Kevin C.

It's not fair to people if they tell a few extra kilomÃ¨tres just to be safe, but they don't get refund if they don't use all those kilometers. Also, i don't believe anybody from the counter checks how much gas is in the trucks, when people pick up the truck from U-Haul but when they bring it back they automatically get charged for anything less than the full tank even if they did fuelled it according to what they used. Like, we picked up a truck and it was 3/4 full, we even took a picture, and we fuelled it back to the same point before dropping it off. But i got charged an extra 29$ because it wasn't full? Even if I wouldn't have fuelled it, 29$ for 15L is still a lot comparing it to current oil price which is between 146.9-156.9, which should have been Max 23.53$. So it's just a ripoff if someone doesn't notice it? I believe a lot of people use the services, and it's not ethical to rip off your customers like that. My truck had no gas when I picked it up. I had to guess how much gas to use and I ended up overpaying and bringing it back with more gas. With gas prices so high it cost me $50 and only used half costing me an additional $25 that it wouldn't have if the truck was full and I just had to fill it up when I returned itRobert C.

Check the systems like brakes more often. My unit had the worst brakes. This isn't a location specific issue since units move around locations. This is a uhaul issue. I can guarantee if I was pulled over by transit check the unit would have been towed by them immediately.Amanda L.

I had no idea where to park my car while I used the uhaul, and when I returned my vehicle was blocked in by larger trucks. Thankfully it was before 7 pm and the staff ran out when I phoned to move a truck so I could leave. The staff was very helpful, but the physical space lacks a clear customer parking spot.Marissa L.

Was really disappointed not to have dollies available which I'd booked for my move - finding out when I was picking up the uhaul wasn't ideal. This is by far one of the best locations for service and reliability. Firstly you can actually reach the office to book. Secondly they are very courteous and informative. Thirdly they offer a good selection of vehicles Lastly I was able to pick up my vehicle on time and everything was organized so it took only a few minutes to be on my way. Great experience!!!JANA M.

I purchased a furniture protector blanket, the guy did direct me to cheaper ones but he totally failed to let me know there was 7 used once's in the uhaul to use for free. Additionally, he forgot to give me my License back, rather then calling me and telling me he didn't give it back, he let me drive all day without and and gave it to me when I was back in the office. The two guys were incredibly rude and not friendly. They did not want to be there. Also the advertising for renting is very falsely advertised. You should include the extra fees in the base price. We were extremely disappointed that the 10 x 15 unit we booked and was confirmed a couple of weeks ago was not available when we arrived with the UHaul truck to unload just boxes of household items. The nice young lady at the front desk called around and tried to accommodate us however there were no other UHaul units in Edmonton. We were able to get a 10x10 (free for the inconvenience) for the month but our furniture will not fit into it as it is now full of boxes only. The young lady did give us a free month and we wait till a 10x15 becomes available. Unfortunately that will require a large part of one day to move everything again when that happens. Some one broke in to unit 15 days from when I rented unit . Plus 3 other units and staff did not know anything about it tell I called them . You need to do things differently. Checked out and everything after one month, they then continued to want money from me. I called to cancel my storage, after I moved out, and they confirmed it was canceled (after waiting on hold for an hour), only to get an email a week later saying I owed them a late payment fee because I hadn't paid for something I had cancelled! To call uhaul on 17 st was almost impossible to get through to customer service. There were times it took me 3 days to get through to them just to make a storage payment. When you did get through I would be put on hold and no one came back to answer the phone. Chane the GM would never reply to my emails I sent to him to make a storage payment or call me as I would leave my phone number for him to call me so I could make a payment. Am per was stolen from the uhaul site. Luckily it was found. We keep our site paid for yet the facility allowed someone else to put there stuff In our site. We checked twice and we would not have been able to park our camper. After notified them it was stolen no one called to see if everything was okay and if they could do anything. Answer yeas call check in with your customer help get video footage together offer to load in onto a Zip drive. When I spoke to mama her he said they(police) did not have a Zip drive to download footage. To me get dates and download it for the customer and police. This to me is customer service. I know If I was the manager I would have got a Zip drive for customer and police. The online process stated that my lock would be ready in the storage locker. This was untrue. As we waited for the employee to come open up our unit we started to unload the trailer. After 30 minutes of waiting and having most of the trailer unpacked we than were told we had to be moved. Not happy. Also, the poor employee was alone on a Saturday.
