The wait time was crazy. The poor guy was alone and had to run in and out but there was a limit to how fast he could go. He was amazingly courteous and efficient though. Frankly, we could have stolen items as the store was alone and there was 3-4 people in line. I know it can be hard to predict customers appearing and it probably can' t be foreseen. Don' t worry, I am honest and watched everyone! I thought I was 45 minutes early but that is how long it took. And I had reserved on line

Staff of these locations are oblivious that their purpose is to service customers. It takes far too long to pick up or drop off a rental regardless of whether you check in online or do it at the counter. It really is painful… Sorry to say... my experience with U-Haul locations truly is dismal...

There is no key drop box. It was night and I had to search for a half hour before I saw a little sign on the garage door giving instructions to put the keys in a little mail slot cut into the door. I was not pleased with this.

please please, fix the self pick up app.....i rented twice a truck recently and couldnt use the app to do self pick up even if i had fill up everything online previously. I had to go in wait 30 min and give all the info again the whole process took close to 45 min instead of 5.....so overall im not satisfied.

very long wait - had asked for cell-phone pick up for 8:30, could only get 9am in-person pickup, only got out at 9:45. - perhaps an express line for those who have completed check in etc online would help.

I did the online check-in and then had to go through the process again completely at the location itself. there is no point to this duplicating process The online return system did not work, had to call in 4 times to make sure the return was done. these both were a big waste of my time!!!!

WE had requested the UHaul location on St. Jacques St. in NDG. When we had arraived at the St. Jacques location, we were told that we had to go to the Montreal West location,. This mix-up has happened before. You should make sure with he booking agent that he/she responds to the clients requests. Eric Heddle

The facility was impressive. Well laid out . Easy manoeuvring. Well supplied. Trailer was exactly as expected. Well maintained. Staff completed the hookup. Due to construction it was difficult to locate, even with GPS. Suggest that the address has a better description.

When I brought the truck back, the staff didn't get up to go check the truck and they charged me 25$ cleaning fees afterwards for something I consider is not justified. I will never set foot in this location again. Maybe even uHaul. Its not the first time I get poor service at this location.

Got a call an hour before moving that the pick up location was changed to Montreal Ouest which is way further than the downtown pick. There was no discount, not even a 10$ credit for the inconvenience. Was told last minute that the 2 furniture dollies were not available. I pre-paid and booked everything 2 weeks in advance so how is that possible. After checking in online, I received a recap that the truck was "manual". I called the uhaul customer service and the employee laughed at my face because "all trucks are automatic of course". Then why did it say "manual" on the recap? The android app is poor. Had to do the online check in 3 times and it would not save my driver's licence information. I am very frustrated that I paid so much money for a poor service.

I wasn't told in detail what standard was implied by the words "return clean". As a result, I returned the van with a few small pepples and and bits of sand. If I had known that I was supposed to return it in exactly the condition in which I rented it, I would have vacuumed before returning. I assumed U Haul vacuumed all vehicles upon return. My mistake and that cost me $25. If I had been simply told to vacuum before returning that would not have happened.

Went there at 3 o clock! No other customers around, it took them until 4 o clock to figure out how to rent me a trailer! Nothing to say about equipment, but the fact it can take over an hour just to rent a trailer it s to much

I asked for a 5x8 trailer which was apparently available. When we went hook it on the car, the 5x8 trailer was missing and they only had a 6x12, which was more than I needed, but I took it anyway. I asked if they would only charge me the price of the 5x8 as that is what I was supposed to get, but they said they could not. That was somewhat disappointing.

The problem is NOT that specific location. Yhe guy was GREAT at the location. The problem is that you don't gi e him proper equipment (he had to use his phone to take a picture of my driver's licence and the whole process took for ever; even though there was no waiting : I was alone). Also, the whole concept that I have to inspect the truck and take pictures... I hate it! I reserved a week before : it took about 50 minutes! Also, how can I vouch for roof of the truck if I can't see it! Also, the milage and the level of the gas wasn't right. There was 30 miles more on the truck than on the paper. The gentleman came and took a picture of it after I tried 5 TIMES to fill the information and upload pictures on your website. Discount cost me about 10$ more and it was 100% worth it (I rented another truck the next day).

customer service, i called many times the location where i picked the truck, but no answer. i was stuck in a gas station for 1 hour, i was trying to figure out , should i add gas or diesel. i do not care if it is the first week or the last week of the month. answer your customers call.

This location was extremely rude, they charged me $150 cleaning fee for no acceptable reason and lied about the condition of the vehicle, and were super rude in the process. I will never do business with u haul again unless they credit me the illegitimate charge. The breaks on the vehicle were very shoddy, was afraid they would fail.

Service was great . Trying to add 20 dollar a day insurance when paying after being quoted a different price not so great . Sneaky actually. And putting the fear of God into the client by saying you will have to pay for whole truck potentially is really not cool . Putting your employees in that awkward position is not very good business practice.

Better communication when dropping off the truck. I waited 24hrs for my bill & I now have to dispute of the charges through emails & phone calls. And it seems that I am left to prove the error. This is not good customer service. The bill should have been ready within a short period of time of drop off.

Only one nice lady that worked there that could speak English the other two guys wouldn't speak any English at all and it's the first time I've had this trouble at this location and this is pretty well my location of choice but not sure next time I rent

J'ai appuyé sur français sondage en anglais très long attente au magasin u ramassage et urtout au retour pas reçus de services attendu plus de 40 min et os été servi attend toujours facture on a pas voulu me donner facture papier et me dire le prix de ma location on m'a dit que je vais recevoir e-mail e-mail reçu mais le paiement paraît toujours pas sur ma cartes 24h après paiement et la saisis et toujours présente ....... même si j étais le seul client a mon retour il on fait tout les véhicules dont les clients étais parti avant moi qui étais présent et après attente pas eu le service demandé

J'ai ramené la camionnette avant la fin de la période convenue mais on à voulu me charger pour 2 jours. Quand je suis venu ramener la camionnette, j'étais la seule cliente et il y avait 3 employés. Ils ont vérifié la camionnette une heure après que je l'aie laissé et c'est alors qu'ils ont voulu me charger 2 jours de location. Je les ai contacter et ils ont rectifier la situation.

Spent over an hour walking around the building trying to find the Dropbox. On the mobile check out the photo of the drop box is an orange box situated at the entrance. At this location it ended up being a slot in the garage door. Which we only found after walking around the entire building about 3 times. Associates should have advised us where to drop the key before leaving. Also the customer service line had us on hold for the whole duration of trying to find the lockbox (about 45mins).

to treat customer with consideration. I had made an arrangement with the admin. office to pick up the material in July & return it on the 23rd of Aug. I specified it to the location attendant but apparently it was not on the file. When I returned I was overcharged & I emailed : the pers. who called me back did not care. I had to get back to the admin office to get it resolved. And got an incredible service with them (JP). Complete contrast... they care & know how to build loyalty.

Your website indicated that our unit was sufficient for our 3.5 appartment. It was absolutely not sufficient and when I inquired about renting another space i was told there were none available. As it is we have had to split the apartment storage which is not the best solution! The staff knowing this problem did not suggest any other solutions, offer to call up other locations for us, or make any accommodations. In addition the sign in procedure is very strange, using one keypad to log in and then another to open the door to the rental spaces. I'm not sure I could manage that trick again and it didn't even work the first time I tried it.

Wish the staff could have been more accommodating. There were many services that neighboring Uhaul's were offering that my Uhaul did not permit me. In addition, phone calls were not returned when inquires were placed.

There were a few hiccups with the automated billing. Twice (over 2.5 years) they sent out erroneous late payment e-mails. Quickly resolved, and more aggravation than anything else.

Great for storage but only thing is that it's impossible to reach that facility via phone, they never pick up. Also, the employee was talking to Hydro for a good 15 mins when I was waiting.
