Was the victim of fraud at this location on 9/15/21. Brought the truck back at 3 pm after going 34 miles and the right gas, but got charged for 96 miles and a $39.42 fuel charge. Obviously they sent the truck out again on my contract. Really dirty, but unsure yet if it's a mistake or purposeful. Waiting to hear from the manager. If not fixed, then I'll have to assume it was in purpose.RUSSELL L.

The trucks were parked way too close to one another at the pickup location which was unnecessary and frustrating to retrieve. You can tell this locations staff does not care about keeping a warm an inviting atmosphere as everything seemed messy, dirty and un-cared for. One worker was just sitting on a golf cart literally do nothing as I struggled to get lock off and back the track out of a nearly impossible parking spot. I will never rent from Uhaul again, never!Robert R.

The return process is awful and I was charged $20 because I missed a text (while driving) to return the truck. I called customer service when I saw the text and expected it to be resolved. Two days later I am charged $20 for improper drop off of vehicle and again call customer service who are not empowered to do ANYTHING. And I have to wait 72 hours for a call back to see if they will waive the charge for missing a text while driving. How ridiculous is this process. I won't rent again and will tell everyone what a poor experience this was.ERIK W.

This was not the location that we made the reservation at., when we arrived in Norwood, they told us they didn't have a truck for us. And that they had texted us earlier in the AM. I did not see the text and they proceeded to explain that the reservation location is only as good as whether or not the person who had the truck before us returned it to that location. I think when you make a reservation, you should tell customers that you will do the best you can to accommodate that location but that they should check that morning if there are changes. I would have liked to know that right when I made my reservation.Wendell M.

This wasn't supposed to be my pickup location. My order was for the other Quincy location on southern artery. I spent more than half an hour at that location with a man who didn't know how to use his own computer system nor know how the reservation system worked before he called someone else and realized they didn't have a truck at the southern artery location for me because he had just had it sent down to Quincy Ave despite him literally pointing at the truck and saying â€œthat's your truckâ€ before he took me inside to confirm paperwork. By the time I got to Quincy Ave and checked in, it was an hour after my reservation was supposed to start all because your associates messed up.ALEXAE C.

When I reserved the truck for our move online, I had no idea what I was doing. I ended up with a truck and was to pick it up in Quincy with drop off in Abington. When I picked up the truck, your employee realized that I would not have enough miles to get to Boston and back because the system thought I was only going between the pick up and drop off locations. So he added miles for me. Also, he saw how expensive our truck was going to be and rechecked to see if it was correct (which it was because 9/1 is a very busy moving day). He could not have been more helpful. I wish I noted his name. As I mentioned it was a busy day for moving so it was busy at the store, but the line moved quickly and it didn't take long to get our truck and get to the task of moving. Thank you!! Also, I should mention, that we were not back in time...we tried, oh we tried. I received a call asking when we would be done and they offered to extend our contract until the next morning. Very pleasant and helpful!! My only complaint is when you call back the number, you get corporate and can't talk to anyone...I didn't like that part. Everything else was great though. I ordered moving pads with my reservation but there were none available when I picked up my truck. Besides that, the staff was very nice and helpful and the rented truck was ready for pickup when I arrived slightly early. Overall a great experience!ADAM B.

On one of the busiest days of the year there was only one person working in the entire store at the time that I arrived. I waited in line for an hour for a van and even then I was lucky enough to get the last van in the lot. Someone else before me had their reservation bumped out and left without any sort of moving vehicle. Clearly this U-Haul location is not dependable.RACHEL L.
Ryan at Uhaul who helped check me in was fantastic. He was dealing with a ton of customers and was the only person working but maintained great communication and professionalism. Great service from him.Alexander D.
This isn't a reflection on the location, but you should make sure that the self-return process is much easier and that you have customer service agents to answer the phones even after closing hours. When I went to return the truck, the website couldn't identify my location (even though my location sharing was on for the website) and I couldn't move forward. When I tried calling for assistance, no one was on the line and the call just hung up. This was very frustrating because we drove quite a ways to drop the truck off. Luckily the process worked on my friend's phone so I could complete the return, but there was no reason why it shouldn't work on my own phone.MIRELLALYS E.

The right mirror was broken and I didn't find out until I was on the highway. It wouldn't stay in place. This was extremely dangerous. I easily could have merged into a car and gotten into an accidentBENON B.
No complaints. The employee working today was amazing! He managed a very long line of people single handed and was the only employee but was very efficient. He was also kind and friendly. Moving sucks and no one likes the hassle but he made it easy and was even able to make me smile and laugh during what is normally a stressful time - I could tell he was stressed too due to the overwhelming amount of customers but he didn't panic and handled it like a champ. Deserves a raise for sure - he was still there cleaning vehicles and getting people through the line when I returned, still alone. And again, was very courteous and friendly. Best uhaul employee/experience I've ever had even though the line was long.Nicholas F.

I had rented a truck from this location loaded the truck up from the location I was moving from. After truck was loaded the truck was no able to move from park to drive. After spending a whole day with roadside assistance and the towings. I got a call from Andy demanding me to bring back the truck after I had told him that the truck broke down and I am waiting for uhaul roadside assistance. I felt that uhaul could had done a better job on communicating with each other about what was going on. I got to admit that the next day everything was resolved by Andy.JEAN-MICHEL J.

I requested for 2 dollys but they said none left, I found one outside of the building and the staff said just take it and asked for refund when I return the vehicle. After I returned the vehicle, they said that the gas level was down by 6GL and charged me for $25, I have uploaded pictures to the customer service for a claim about this ridiculous thing happened to me.Jiakai Y.

If I could rate unbelievably excellent, I would. Arrived day before to pick up and Ryan updated my reservation with ease. Noted a minor scratch after my link expired and customer service said don't worry about it. Delivered vehicle 1/2 hour late and the young man at the counter said no problem. Went Around 30 miles was charged for 98 miles. Very disappointed, rented many times at u haul, never had this problem.LISA A.
I was charged for the extra day, but the person from Salisbury, MA who changed my pick-up location advised that I was going to have the extra-day and mileage covered with no additional cost. As of making of this review, I have not received a refund for the extra day and mileage and I would like to receive that because this whole experience was truly a mess. LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITHIN BRANCHES IS UNACCEPTABLE. PLEASE WORK ON THAT FOR FUTURE REFERENCES.DAVID T.

I was using the APP to check out and it was not accepting my photo...I ended up playing with this for 30 minutes (it was after hours, so no help insight and NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL ON THE APP) I went thru Chrome and it was fine. BUT YOUR APP IS BUSTED (YES, I had photos enabled for the APP)Laura C.

Quincy only has one employee working. Waited toooooo long each way for service. Afternoon employee was wonderful. He did the work of three people. My van had less than 3/4 tank of gas when I entered for the first time. The odometer was off by approximately 500 miles. The morning employee did not know how to correct the problem with the paperwork. I took pictures of the gas gage and odometer at the beginning and the turn in of the van. The afternoon employee had to fix the mistakes from the morning. Also, the store should have more than one key per vehicle.VIRGINIA T.

I contracted for a 20' truck for Aug. 1st and got a call on Friday night saying MY truck had broken down!?! I had to really push to get something for my move. No recommendation or alternative was offered until I continued to push. I got a 10' truck, but because of the complete and utter failure of U-Haul to meet my contract my movers could only do 1 pass. So, I was left to move and make 2 more trips between the properties. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND U-HAUL AGAIN!!! HORRIBLE!!! when picking up the 10' truck other trucks were on the lot.JOHN I.

I was not told about the $30 fuel surcharge fee. I have never experienced that in any other rental, only the high per gallon price. Considering the short amount of time (2.5 hours) that I was able to have the vehicle even though I was charged for a full day, I did not have time to get fuel and return it at the time I was told it must be back.DONALD M.
