The two gentlemen there were very friendly and took care of me extremely well. They put a trailer hitch on in a very short time. And they called me two days ahead of my appointment to let me know I needed to go to a different location. They went and grabbed the part from the other store and bought it to there location, Wich I appreciated.ROGER P.

Look, there's nothing wrong with the location at all. The guy running the counter was great, waaaay above average customer service. Truck was fine, didn't really have high expectations. But using the site for a return was a real pain in the butt. Everytime I tried to add a picture of the odometer, it would fail. I got to the location at 5:45, and it took 20 minutes to use the site to complete the return. And on top of that, I couldn't get anyone on the 1-800 number. This was a failure at a corporate level. I didn't receive a furniture Dolly.(was told 5hey didn't have one).As a result I couldn't move my dresser.The van was fine.But unfortunately was not able to monitor my mileage due to a sensor notification blocking information. (Thought was strange).,I have used UHaul before and no issues.But though customer service was very nice. Was disappointed in this past visit. This was the worst customer service I ever experienced at a uhaul before. I arrived for my 12:00 reservation, the person working there was sweeping out the back of a van, when I asked him to help me he told me he was the only one working and I needed to wait. He continued to clean the van for another 5 minutes and then checked me in. When I inspected the uhaul truck there were two bags of trash left by the previous renter and cigarette ashes in the door tray. I went back in to tell the employee and he just said â€œsorry about thatâ€ while continuing to text on his phone and not even look at me. He didn't offer to clean the truck or give me a different truck. I am very disappointed with my experience at uhaul; I have rented in the past and never had an issue.ERIKA K.
I've never gone into a UHaul location and not had to wait. This is no reflection on the staff. The employee at the desk was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. But she was one person expected to be doing the job of two, and sometimes three. The customers in line were customers who had reservations. The company knew full well that 5 people would show up at 10:00 to pick up their vehicles. I can't imagine that the company does not make enough money to hire and pay an adequate amount of staff a livable wage. That said, my experience was surprisingly good considering how overworked the staff is.KELLEY M.

Took me almost 10 minutes for a truck, first truck was not on the lot, 2nd truck was not on the lot, 3rd truck was behind another vehicle. It took 4 refreshes for a truck to available for self check out. I lost 30 minutes of my move time due to the slow web experience. Photos of truck were old and inaccurate. Customer parking is not big enough. Generally this is a once and hopefully never again. Got into the truck, candy wrappers in the door, not cleaned out, Tire sensor warning, can't get mileage accurately enough since the warning keeps coming up on the dash.RIch E.

Service at location was great. However they did not have the 20ft truck i reserved and no one called me to let me know. Had to take multiple trips due to only having 15ft available costing me to pay extra mileage. The 20ft would have fit all of my items in one trip the 15ft did not.RICHARD N.

Upon arrival to pickup the van I had rented, i walked through the door of uhaul and tripped over a metal plate that was protruding up from the door frame. I hit the floor falling face first onto the cement floor. After i got off the floor me knees were bleeding so badly that i had to leave and have someone else pick up the van. I asked for the manager but was told they could not give out his name or number. No one even bothered to call to see if i was alright, plus i had to pay for the van. I feel bad there was only one girl working trying to check everyone in at 7am. We went a few days earlier to get moving blankets and they said you have to get them on the day you pick up your truck and today there were none, and none in the truck. This forced me to use my home blankets that are not for moving but I had no choice. I want a partial refund for the long wait time when I'm trying to move and being out of a critical item for moving.DANIELE I.

Was the victim of fraud at this location on 9/15/21. Brought the truck back at 3 pm after going 34 miles and the right gas, but got charged for 96 miles and a $39.42 fuel charge. Obviously they sent the truck out again on my contract. Really dirty, but unsure yet if it's a mistake or purposeful. Waiting to hear from the manager. If not fixed, then I'll have to assume it was in purpose.RUSSELL L.

The trucks were parked way too close to one another at the pickup location which was unnecessary and frustrating to retrieve. You can tell this locations staff does not care about keeping a warm an inviting atmosphere as everything seemed messy, dirty and un-cared for. One worker was just sitting on a golf cart literally do nothing as I struggled to get lock off and back the track out of a nearly impossible parking spot. I will never rent from Uhaul again, never!Robert R.

The return process is awful and I was charged $20 because I missed a text (while driving) to return the truck. I called customer service when I saw the text and expected it to be resolved. Two days later I am charged $20 for improper drop off of vehicle and again call customer service who are not empowered to do ANYTHING. And I have to wait 72 hours for a call back to see if they will waive the charge for missing a text while driving. How ridiculous is this process. I won't rent again and will tell everyone what a poor experience this was.ERIK W.

This was not the location that we made the reservation at., when we arrived in Norwood, they told us they didn't have a truck for us. And that they had texted us earlier in the AM. I did not see the text and they proceeded to explain that the reservation location is only as good as whether or not the person who had the truck before us returned it to that location. I think when you make a reservation, you should tell customers that you will do the best you can to accommodate that location but that they should check that morning if there are changes. I would have liked to know that right when I made my reservation.Wendell M.

This wasn't supposed to be my pickup location. My order was for the other Quincy location on southern artery. I spent more than half an hour at that location with a man who didn't know how to use his own computer system nor know how the reservation system worked before he called someone else and realized they didn't have a truck at the southern artery location for me because he had just had it sent down to Quincy Ave despite him literally pointing at the truck and saying â€œthat's your truckâ€ before he took me inside to confirm paperwork. By the time I got to Quincy Ave and checked in, it was an hour after my reservation was supposed to start all because your associates messed up.ALEXAE C.
