Employees need more training with respect to the links and text messages and helping customers understand how to use it. When dropping off after hours any internet should be allowed to return trucks, not just google chrome. Or at least write it on the contract to use Google chrome to return trucks after hours

I could not check in using the online checkin. The second person verification could not use the phone number I provided. I'm still unsure why that was so. I ended up going inside to check-in and was asked to go through the process a second time only to learn that my initial attempt would not allow the checkin. I Had to cancel the first 2 and have the store clerk do this manually. This wasted a lot of time. Similarly on drop off the process could not find my location. I made sure that my location was being allowed but the app wouldn't let me proceed. After 45 minutes, all I could do was put the keys in the key return slot. These processes should be greatly improved for a better customer experience.

There was an issue with the truck, it was very clean but the engine wasn't running the way it should which made me nervous driving. The truck was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY and I had to clean it, both the cabin and sweep out the back. The photos did not show massive damage to the side of the vehicle and I suspect they would have tried to charge me for it has I not take ample pictures. Currently they are trying to charge me a cleaning fee that is absolutely unacceptable. I returned the truck with a full tank (more than was required) and cleaner than I got it. I have photographic proof of both of these facts. They are trying to rip me off. Dishonest!

The truck smelled like cigars. When I got to my location and then restarted the truck it would not turn over...took six tries and the engine light came on..driving home was treacherous with filthy windows inside and out with no washer fluid to clean them. very dissatisfied.

The gentleman who helped me out the date I went to pick up my truck was patient and nice. The only issue was that, when I went to do a check of the truck before taking it off the lot, I noticed that one of the headlights was out. So, I had to go back inside and have the gentleman switch my contract to another truck - which he did. Though I think the truck should have been checked prior to it being contracted out (so that the issue would have been spotted by the U-Haul staff and therefore not contracted out until the headlight was fixed), I did appreciate the gentleman switching me to another truck without a problem and without giving me an attitude or anything - as it wasn't my fault the initial truck was faulty. The 2nd truck worked fine and when I brought the truck back the following day, the manager of the location was the one to close out my contract and he was also very nice, friendly, kind and accommodating. So, it was an overall good experience.

Was disappointed that was rushed to sign up the contract without getting to know that the agent applied an 14$ coverage over other expenses! Car wasn't so clean, we were not allowed to leave our car on their parking lot and by surprise we were given a truck that was blocked off by another one so it took me 15 min to get out of there! Would not go there again!

A $100 deposit was to be refunded to our credit card upon completion of the contract--it is now 3 bills later and this still has not occurred--we upheld our part of the deal now you need to uphold yours!

The sales rep (a man) lied) to us when renting the vehicle, When the item was picked up the sales man was rude and lied about payment ( I wanted to go somewhere else but needed the rental on that date) I had to go to a location I was unfamiliar with and was further than I wanted to go. I had such an Bad experience I will never go to this location again. I will go to another company.next time because the personal experience was so bad. The truck was fine the service was bad when it did not have to be, The employees need to be trained to be nice to customers not treat them like garbage. BYE

Van was filthy. Had to put gloves on and Lysol down the entire van. The steering wheel was sticky, radio buttons were layered in dust. AC/Heat vents were filthy. Given covid pandemic I would think a company would be much more cautious in cleaning the vehicles between use.

Nothing. It was easy reserving a truck on-line. Pickup was easy. UHaul associate was friendly and knowledgeable. Return was effortless. Great experience.

Someone put a restriction on me which came up as if I was a potential terrorist or on a wanted list. I had to call customer care in order to get that off the account for over 2 hours. Then I had ordered extra equipment about 3 items an dolly with 2 furniture rollers. They didn't have anything in stock which cause further daily in my day. The Quincy location should have been better prepared with clean trucks ready to go and all the promised equipment. The Malden location's manager or supervisor should be careful whom they put on a crime list it's embarrassing. The fact I didn't get a reduced rate or some still is killing me.

the truck was NOT DRIVABLE turning was SUPER loose the brakes worked sometimes I tried taking a right turn and the truck went straight I drive trucks for a living and this was NOT ACCEPTABLE!! I was also charged extra money the back loading door got stuck and 3 yes THREE PEOPLE called roadside assistance and 2 HOURS LATER NO ONE ANSWERED AND GOT HUNG UP ON TWICE! Andy from uhaul REFUSED to give us his supervisors name and was beyond rude!! Ryan was/is a sweetheart n should be promoted for his assistance!! we are waiting 2 days later for Andy to call us back he said ONE HOUR still NO CALL!! I WILL NEVER EVER COME TO UHAUL OR REFERRING UHAUL TO ANYONE!! I HAVE CUTS BRUISES AND BADLY HURT BACK FROM FIXING THE LOADING DOOR MYSELF! We called our lawyer and are disgusted with how we where treated and Andy needs to be reprimanded and if the call was recorded you can see/hear for yourself! DISGUSTED WITH OUR SERVICE AND ANDY BUT RYAN SHOULD OWN UHAUL AS FAR AS WE ARE CONCERNED!! beyond mad and literally in pain from YOUR TRUCK breaking and NO ANSWER NEVER MIND COMING from roadside assistance!

I was charged $86 for fuel. I was told $3.50 per gallon. I drove a total of 20 miles. The fuel was not full. I was unable to use the web based acknowledgment tool. There was damage to the vehicle. I will dispute the charges.

Mister Ortis at this location was outstanding ! I thought I had completed my reservation on line for a van rental. To my surprise, it went in as a quote. He made sure I was able to use a van . I appreciate his help and his kindness . He was very professional but didnt make a older woman feel like a fool.

When I was asked if I would Choose the 14 dollar safety coverage , I clearly told him : no . And I said I am a bus driver and I will only use it in local for a mattress moving . So I will be ok . He still added the 14 dollars by his mistake, after that , I asked him to remove it , he tried but could not make it happen, then he said to me : no worries about this charge , I would deduct it when you return the van . ..... hours later , I returned, different guy was there , I mentioned the 14 charge , he said That he knew what was happening about the 14 dollars and the 14 dollars will be remove From the final bill . ..... but , still , I got charged ...... no going to spend 2 hours and drive miles to fight for the 14 dollars but felt bad .

The guys behind the counter were not helpful at all. I had to wait in line for a long time even after checking in ahead of time. The truck was not cleaned, there drivers door wouldn't shut all the way. The right front tire was low on air and there was trash all over the vehicle including french fries on the drives side. Overall I was very displeased with my experience. On top of that I paid for the hand cart and moving mats to be included with my vehicle and of course those were not included as well. I had reserved furniture pads. When I went to pick up the van they said the system showed 96 of them in stock but they had none. They felt that was not their fault. My dinner table got scratched because I didn't have furniture pads.

The truck I picked up was filthy. There was spilled soda in the cup holder, grime all over the center console, mud on the door and the door handle, The windowless look as if they have not been washed in a month. The rear view mirror andirt in the rear view mirror. Oh! I almost forgot, there was a BC Eagles shirt tucked behind the drivers seat. To make matters even more disgusting, the steering wheel was so grimy it stuck to my hands! I have video and pictures. Please contact me as soon as possible, I do t feel as if I should have to pay for this rental.
