Just a week ago, unfortunately, I rented a van from Budget. That was a terrible experience. Budget guys gave me wrong info regarding insurance. They told me I was going to pay totally $30 for coverage, but charged me $47 with hidden fees. They also miscalculated the milages I drove, then return the extra money I paid in a week. Any, UHaul is the best.

Absolutely Fantastic, I Now know Why My Brother Speaks So Highly about Uhaul as a Company in Whole. It was Easy to set up, The Person who helped Me was Friendly, Understanding and very Pleasant, to be honest the End of My trip seemed doomed, But thanks to the Kindness and Mercy Shown to me, It made me have some Hope Maybe Not All Humans Like To Kick a guy when he was Down. Her smile and honest Genuine Compassion for My Family's current situation that Uhal had Nothing to do with,Was really What I needed to keep it Together, I Wish Others Could Learn from Her and Uhaul as a Company in wide Heroes in my Eyes. I Don't Remember her name but know You have a Customer for Life and She might have Saved me from A heart attack or A Breakdown. Thank you, to her Thank You UHAL. MUCH Love from My family to all of Yours. Know that The Employee at that Location is My Hero. Might I add, Should be Praised for going above and Beyond fantastic Customer Service, Into Epic Omega Saint or A Hero, and A Incredible Human Being. Would I recommend Uhaul, and or That Location, You better believe it, That women Showed me, There are some good people out there with Realistic Morals and Values. She was a Gift in my Time of Need. Thank you Uhal, and Thank you to that Young Lady who is In My Opinion An Angel which the World Could Use more of.

Message to all who rental uhaul at 438 Quincy Ave . When I pickup a truck is was some gouges and I think it ok then I return a truck they charge me damage the truck .

I did a self pick up. The first issue I had was finding the truck. It was NOT in the location of the picture that was provided. It was tucked away in the back so that I spent 15 minutes having to check just about every truck to find it. And the biggest problem I had is that I ordered an appliance dolly, but they forgot to include it in the truck so that I had to waste time going back to the location when the opened at 9 (I picked it up at 7) just to grab the dolly. Why bother doing a self pick up if the location can’t set the truck up as ordered when one picks up the truck?

Mr. Andy Ortiz was a great person not just to me but also to the customer before me and the customer who was behind me. Andy was was very professional, efficient and was smiling which was totally absent at the location where I picked the truck.

Dropping off the rented truck was the easiest process I've ever had. I returned the keys and left within 1 minute. The associate was professional and helpful.

I thought the mobile check-in process was time consuming. A mobile check-in sounds quick and easy, but in actuality the user still has to wait for a customer service agent to connect and approve the contract holder in order to unlock the keys. When the user makes a reservation the process should already have the driver's photo, alternate contact and picture of driver's license. This was a huge annoyance as moving is already stressful. The time it took for the mobile check-in to work made me 20 minutes late to my move and pushed my truck return time back 30 minutes.

I reserved a furniture dolly which wasn’t available when I picked up the truck. It was needed and created a lot of problems. What’s the point of a reservation if it’s not reserved. The service from the people in the store was excellent though.

The truck I booked was blocked by another truck. Since location wasn’t opened during Christmas, I had to call to the customer service. After 1 hour long wait, I finally was able to get another truck (smaller than the truck I booked initially). Customer rep said that I should get my $50 guarantee rebate, which I never got. I am very unhappy with the service - I wasting 2 extra hours of my time on Christmas Day and I had to do multiple loads and trips because of the smaller size truck.

Although vans were available, we were not allowed to rent them from the front desk, instead we had to book online first. Because of this we spent more than an hour in the store to rent the vehicle.

There was a huge line when I arrived to pick-up my truck at 10 a.m. and only one person working. The line kept getting bigger as this poor man was trying to keep up with people who didn't have reservations. Then he told people in line that even with a reservation, he might not have a truck available... which sent everyone into panic mode. Thankfully, I was able to get a truck.

The Inside Of The Vehicle Reeked Of Beer. I Called The Boss And Explained The Issue Before Leaving The Location. Then As I Was Driving The Vehicle Kept Braking On Me; Even On The Highway. Very Unsafe And This Is The Second Time I Rented From A Uhaul Company, And Was Highly Unsatisfied, And Unsafe.

The truck we rented was clean and had gas, however, it seems like the shocks or alignment might need to be looked at as the ride was quite rough (more than one can assume should be even though it's a truck). The worker at this location was amazingly professional. Despite the amount of customers present, he personalized each order and made sure each person got what they needed. We give him 5+ stars!

The person working was very unprofessional and acted as if he did not want to be there. He asked me what truck I reserved and then asked me where it was in the lot. He took the next person while I had to go to look to make sure it wasn't blocked after I had been waiting in line for 15 minutes . He then said my reservation online didn't work and that he didn't like when people reserved online because he didn't know how it worked. Two people behind us had the same trouble and we were all frustrated with the coworkers lack of knowledge and attitude. The process was way to complicated for something that should be simple since we entered all of our information ahead of time online for a quick and easy pick up.

Andy had harassed and discriminated against me about other customers needing the truck when I had paid day after day for my rental. He had extremely poor customer service skills. This was the only bad experience I had with uhaul.

The manager Andy Ortiz could not have been more rude and aggressive towards me. He came at me in a very aggressive manor because he did not like where I parked. I parked in an open spot and was not in anyone’s way. He yelled at me twice and my son and I were shocked as to this behavior.

The woman I rented and returned to was awesome, helpful, friendly, and informative.

1) Extend the number of rings at the store before the call switches over to the main U Hall call center. 2) Review return procedures prior to rental, if the planned return time is delayed, (still within the 24 hour rental timeframe), and ends up being after the U Hall location office closing time. A most pleasant experience at this the Quincy Ave., Quincy, Ma. location.
