Improve trailer return/check in procedures. My return was not properly logged in, even after phone calls, etc. And then I was charged additional fees and re-booked for more time which I never requested. It took multiple phone calls and emails to correct everything. Everything was eventually corrected. And, I think your app needs improvements, it would not let me check in the trailer remotely as I was no longer at the specific Uhaul location. And, the app no longer works after I just upgraded my Android phone to version 12. It just crashes right after opening.eric T.

Unfortunately the location is poorly managed along with the upkeep of the vehicles. We were given a Teuck with absolutely no gas in it and the gas needle was broken. We had ti fuel the vehicle amd the manager attempted to avoid compensation of the full fuel credit promised.RITA M.
Person was not helpful. Had another customer and rushed me through my transaction. I explained that I never received equipment and asked that she check with pickup location. She stated that she would not charge me for missing equipment. I asked for receipt. Was told that she would have to email it to me. I've rented and returned to this location several times. They were very friendly this time but extremely rude to add a last three times that I've dealt with the personnel. The manager or owner is a nice middle-aged guy, but the young women who work in there are not good at customer service. I have never seen them without their phones in their hands either on social media or talking on the phone while also trying to deal with customers. Urine, beer and trash in the cabin. Urine on the floor and in a bottle. Homeless man living in the back of the truck. When I notified the staff, they kept texting others, hardly acknowledged me, stated it happens all the time. I waited for them about 10 minutes and then had to leave to meet movers I was paying a substantial sum. I asked for cleaning supplies and they gave me an empty bottle of cleaning fluid and a couple paper towels. I had to leave and then went to the store to purchase cleaning supplies and sanitized every inch of the cabin as much as I could. I have never had such a terrible service situation and health concern!!! I am reporting to the Georgia Department of Health, BBB and any other regulatory agencies I can determine relevant.Adam R.

I returned the trailer on Saturday 11/20 at 5:15pm and was told by personnel at the location I would be receiving a receipt in 15 minutes. I called Uhaul on Saturday and Sunday after not receiving the receipt with no response. I received the receipt on Monday 11/22 with an extra day charge and an after hours check in fee. I will not be paying the additional charges for services not rendered.Jacob S.

Worst location, horrible customer service! The truck was dirty with soda stains all over when I rented it, I called immediately and was told they will put an acknowledgment in the system and they never did. When I received a phone call about extension of time the service rep was rude! There was a mistake with the amount of gas that was in truck when I rented it from inception! There was no hand truck or pads in the truck for use just in case, plus I got charged a premium! By far my worst experience ever. This has nothing to do with the actual pick-up location. However, I have to mention that this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul. The first reservation we made was at a gas station location. We showed up and there was a homeless person in the truck. We rescheduled for the next day and I told the lady how important it was that we would be getting an appliance dolly. We showed up at the next location and no appliance dolly! I don't know what's happening at U-haul right now; but what a terrible experience.Louis R.

I received an appliance dolly and was told at pick up that they did not have any, nor any other dolly for rent, only to buy. I should have been notified of this ahead of the pick up date, so I could make other arrangements. I also tried to check-in via the mobile act, but was rejected and had to go into the store to manually check out. The clerk said it was because the picture I took of my license was "crooked." The GM was passive aggressive and unwilling to professional address my concerns. The inside of the truck leaked rain water all over my electrical items. GM stated, â€œnormally I just wipe it offâ€, instead of applying corporate best practices. GM stated, â€œ just file a claim, why should the money come out of my pocketâ€ The passenger door would not open as well. GM never addressed it. Would avoid this Uhaul if you desire a corporate experience!!Ray K.

The Peachtree Road Atlanta store did not have the truck that I reserved and instead rented me a 8' cargo van. I needed the 10' truck to accommodate the large furniture items that I have. Also, I reserved a hand truck and they did not have that either, only a furniture dolly. On the whole, my day and money were both waisted. I am really disatisfied with U-Haul.Jeffrey C.

The truck I rented had mechanical issues and was a really tough drive from Indiana to Atlanta. The transmission had a hard time shifting and there was an almost constant belt noise coming from the truck. When I returned the truck and car dolly, I was surprisingly charged for two extra days on the dolly. This issue still hasn't been resolved. I will not be using Uhaul again and I will be making sure others do the same. Terrible experience. I want my money refunded for the car dolly that I returned on time!Brandon B.

The cab wasn't clean; but that wasn't that big of a deal. The biggest issue was the rear rolling door got stuck in the down position. One of the employees said they were aware of it but didn't have another truck option for me so I just had to deal with it. It required two of us to try and open the door each time. i rented a truck at one location. they called me and told me to drive 30minutes further away because they didn't have the truck i rented available. once i reached the new location i was told they would not allow me to rent the truck because the past renter had left items inside of it so i was told to drive back to the original location i requested. once back to where i wanted to rent from in the first place they told me to drive to yet ANOTHER location to get a truck that would allow me to use for 6 hours instead of the full 24 hours i had scheduled for. horrible experience. i honestly expect some form of compensation for this ridiculous experience.Cole J.

The customer service at the 3947 Peachtree location was horrible! I have used U Haul rental over the years and this was the worst service I have ever experienced. Upon arrival my first arrival at this location(12:00 PM), the customer representative was outside of the building sitting in her car! She went on to inform me that no truck was available for my reservation. She sent me the Cheshire Bridge location for a truck, upon my arrival the store clerk informed me he did not have a truck either! I called (again) the customer service line to complain. The representative reserved a truck at the 3947 Peachtree location. Upon my arrival, I learned that the representative gave my reservation to client without check the system! Also, based on the conversation I heard, the young lady did not have a license. As a result, I had to rent a much larger truck to move 2 chairs. The young lady who help was very rude during the entire process of renting the larger truck. I have been a U-Hall customer for years, m experience today was not good for the U-Hall brand! I arrived at the time of my scheduled appointment (8:30a) for a 15' van and there was nothing available on site. The employee working that morning called the 1-800 number to try and identify another van in the metro-Atlanta area and there were NONE. She indicated that there would not be a 15' return until 2p that day...so there was never going to be a truck available at the time I had initially scheduled my truck. This is poor supply chain management of trucks and I was only one of MANY who had the same issue that morning. The employee working was inundated on a Saturday morning with movers and needed additional backup. Thankfully, a truck was returned prior to 2p and she called to tell me I could arrive sooner than 2p, but she should not have been put in that position.TRAMMELL J.

The installer at this location did not reinstall the muffler onto the exhaust insulators. I did not notice this failure until I got home. This is an unacceptable oversight that could have caused long term damage to my vehicle. I reinstalled the exhaust into the insulators myself as I did not want to drive the vehicle 30 minutes back with an unsecured muffler. I could not be more displeased with this service.Alex J.

I walked in 5-10 minutes before closing to retrieve my key. As soon as I walked in, the man told me that the location was closed. Even when I told him I needed to get a key, he kept telling me that the location was closed. I understand that he was dealing with some stressful issues with police at the scene and some young men. However, the way he treated me and talked to me was unruly. I don't really believe he had any excuse for what he did. If I had not caught him walking out the door and asked him what I have to do to get my key, I would have never been able to rent the van. Furthermore, when I told him I needed a dolly, he just told me they were closing and rushed me out the door. I never got it and made our move more difficult.TYKI W.

Worst U-Haul experience of my life. I think I've rented 20 times, including several times at this location in the past few years, and this was terrible. The site manager (Michael) was RUDE and very unfriendly. He was dictating, condescending, and treating everyone as if they were wasting his time and annoying him, both employees (I feel sorry for them) and even me! The new guy that was helping me was SLOW and learning as he went, and not being effectively trained. The two vehicles I got were full of gray/white dog hair, and one was BAD, so they clearly didn't get any attention. The cup holder was full of sticky muck. There were so many dents and scratches on it they probably wouldn't have noticed if I had done something (I didn't), and the "rear door open" message on the dash wouldn't go out no matter how hard we shut the door (it was shut!). Second truck had less than 1/4 tank of gas, too. I spent 30 minutes trying to rectify the situation, as they had to cancel and START OVER when we switched vehicles from the fuzzy one. I can't say enough... this was bad enough to make me look elsewhere. I have to move in a month and I won't be coming here for trucks. Sorry.Joseph K.
