The gentlemen behind the counter was incredibly rude. I booked online. Did not see my truck, went inside. He said rudely, its in the back. NO where on the app did it specify that the truck was in the back. Luckily, Keith kindly helped and pulled truck around. Then when returning. I parked it in the front parking. Same rude gentlemen, yells Hey! and points to the canopy where I am supposed to park. I pulled through the canopy area to the back, missing the stop sign. He again yells at me. This is the rudest interaction I have received in years. Luckily Keith kindly helped again. The rude gentlemen, comes to the truck and asked if I saw the stop sign. I told him, I did not and he asks rudely, "you could not read the sign?? I am a physician and qualified to read a sign. I missed it completely. Again, this gentlemen is a terrible representative of your company. However, Keith was kind, professional and helpful. Please for the sake of your business, ADDRESS THE INCREDIBLE RUDE ASSOCIATE!!!
Truck did not drive well.asked to return truck without dolly as it fell on my foot and needed to go to the hospital. Last at the desk said without dolly we couldn't return the truck and charged for an entire second day. After several call amd a visit to the store the manager corrected this... too longer to rent and get the uhaul issues resolved than it did to move the appliances and visit the emergency room and return home.
The equipment I reserved wasn't available. The staff were rude and told me if I wanted to look for a dolly i might find one. Why one wouldn't already be in my reserved truck that I requested a dolly with is beyond me.
Don't criticize customer for not folding blankets when returning vehicle. Otherwise this was a very good location to work with.

Absolutely terrible customer service!! Additionally, the truck was in a very poor, unkept condition. A close family member of mine accidentally dropped the truck off after hours (based on the signs that were ADVERTISED on the store location), and when I called to confirm delivery and do my due diligence, the associate treated me very disrespectfully! I was met with constant backlash around why I â€œshouldn't have done thatâ€ and greeted with attitude and a question of â€œso what do wanna knowâ€. I did not feel that I was treated with respect at all.
Employees were very rude and they didn't know the customer service so let them put back to learn how to deal the customers. On the same day 1/9/21 this was a third location we found a truck after second attempt and other two had ( one was closed but they supposed to open) severe problems. So I recommend to my friends and others not to go there.
Great uhaul location. I use several times a month and the staff is always awesome and the equipment always clean and ready.
When I received the vehicle I told the store that the truck smelled like marijuana. When driving the truck dropped out of shift.
I returned the equipment after hours with the app and called the 8-- number to verify. Attendant did not check in the trainer for another 4 days and then charged me for after hours drop off not confirmed and the extra days. It was parked in the very front of the store, no way it took 5 days to see it and get it check in. or to check the records to see if it had been check in. After several attempts to settle with the store owner I escalated to have uhaul handle it. Serious issues both on pick up and return!
This is by far the poorest customer service anyone could offer. Even if working for free, there would still be a little decorum in addressing customers. From the manager to the sales rep, it was a complete disaster. Oh my gosh, I'm writing the Vice President of marketing for customer care on this issue. Very unapologetic nonchalant attitude from both the manager and the sales rep. I don't know their names but the girl I met after the manager left was extremely rude. Not just to me but even to another sales rep in the Clairmont outlet. I don't know if the peachtree outlet is an abandoned project so no one cares to check if the people there are doing a good job. It takes absolutely nothing to be nice. I never asked for the unthinkable. All I wanted was help to attach the auto transport that I had booked and paid for, more than a week. The manager said he would wait for me to be back at 5pm. He left at 4pm, according to the sales rep. Asked how I would get the auto transport then, the girl said I should find another location that has it. Mind you, I paid for it at this location. I asked how I would get to another location since I had my car in their location because I needed to put it on the auto transport. The girl said in her own words â€œ You can get there however way you want to. That's not my problemâ€! This is distasteful. I was in shock because I didn't understand how someone in customer care could be that rude. Well I don't have the patience to type all that transpired. I would definitely find time to send an email to the VP. Someone needs to know what's going on in this location. I lost so much money and time just because of this simple issue that could have been handled differently
The furniture pads and dolly that I ordered weren't available. Also, they made me return earlier than I had allocated for. Most importantly, they advertised that 9' cargo van can fit a queen sized mattress, however it did not! I was given an old van that was smaller than newer vans so I had to make multiple trips instead of fitting it all in one, therefore more mileage which ended up costing me more than I was expecting. Very annoyed!
The drop off experience was not great, bu they may have just been busy.
NO mask NO cleaning and NO not waiting in line even though I scheduled fulfilled everything on line ahead of time -I wanted no contact!!!!!!!!! I rented bc of that -this is a super spreader place waiting to happen- I have been furnishing a house but bc of this I'll wait for a vaccine -really not ok during PANDEMIC!!!!! plus I went back in to notify of damage I was rudely told take a picture or don't take it ???? I've been renting for year being an interior designer and this is soooo NOT ok
The truck was VERY dirty. I couldn't see through the windshield it was so dirty. The truck smelled of smoke and my clothes were filled with the scent after being in the truck all day.
Great location with car parking near by. Only complaint was that I reserved a furniture dolly and was not provided one being told they were first comes first serve which was very frustrating.
i rented an open trailer. the Agent behind the counter, got me assigned to a trailer and went through all the phone prompts, iand i paid by CC, went back out to my truck, (my brothers truck) and found one of the tie down straps was missing the ratchet, so i went back in the store to buy another one, i had to wait in line behind 3 other customers. then found the tow harness adapter plug that my brother had, had a broke pin. so i went back inside to buy a new one, i had to stand in line behind 4 customers, to wait to buy the adapter plug. the Agents were very professional and courteous.
They gave away the truck I reserved. I waited 40 minutes for a truck (the guy who helped me was nice and helpful). The truck i received was dirty. Upon return, the attendant accused me of damaging the truck and asking why I didn't take photos before leaving.
Utilized 24/7 truck share but employee came out advising us they don't open for another 2hrs and very insistent they don't participate in truckshare multiple times, when in fact our keys where outside as they should be. No call the day before as the reservation indicated, no furniture blankets available, still had to wait for location to open as the utility dolly was not inside the truck and truck back gate was left open over night during rain making the first few feet wet. Glad the truck made it across the country, sounded mechanically skeptical at times. Several hours into drive old empty trash drink cups rolled out from underneath the passenger seat that I had not previously noticed.
Attentive & helpful staff
Both customer representatives were a little off. One had no mask the other put theirs on when I walked in. The return rep was the general manager I believe, I told him I dropped off my auto transport and he looks at me and says "ok?" And I'm like am I good to go? He asks if I put it next to the other ones, i say "I put it next to the only other one" like do you want me to go move it myself? He has no other comment and never indicated if I was clear to leave. Such a strange interaction especially from management.
I was given a truck that had a broken visor and would hang down and block my vision to the road. I was under time constraints and making a short trip so I just held the visor up so I could see to get to my destination. I was called repeatedly by the manager about when I was going to return the equipment with no way to call him back directly. When I returned I showed him the broken visor and asked for some of my money back he refused saying I should have brought the truck back for a replacement but I didn't have time.When I rented the truck I asked him if we should inspect the truck and he said it wasn't necessary because he knew everything that was wrong with it. He was very verbally combative when I asked for a partial refund. I will never use uhaul again because of this managers ineptitude.
