There was a person who was not an employee involving himself in hooking a tow dollie to my car. He didnt seem to know what he was doing so I ask the manager if he was an employee and was told he was not but he lets him help. I think this is a safety issue and should not happen. The guy then wanted me to pay him. No.

I did the express mobile pick up, but the key was not in the actual locker so I had to wait in line which took an additional 30 minutes. I didn't mind waiting, but I had movers waiting for me already at my home. The truck wasn't clean, and member apologized. I wasn't bothered about the truck being dirty because I understand every business gets busy, and I also was no accused or charged for any of the mess (trash on the floor, ash in the ash tray, etc.) However, the least they could've did is ensure the key was in the locker for those of us on a time limit! Other than that, the employees are super friendly and respectful.

I think the overall booking online process has tainted my opinion of UHaul. I made an online reservation for a 4 x 8 trailer from an inconvenient location in March. THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE IT AVAILABLE TWO MONTHS LATER. Your inventory system sucks. This ALWAYS happens to me. No matter what. What's the point of reserving online when availability is always wrong. It really does suck. I've been a customer for over 10-15 years...and I'm on my way to saving up for a trailer so I never have to rent from you again.

Jesse and the staff were great. Jesse was a hoot and new his stuff. They ran out of furniture movers and he gave me an alternative and recommended help which I thought I didn't need..lol but I did. Thanks guys! I have used this location for years and the one time I used the one on piedmont they overcharged me and were not friendly at all!! I will not ever do that again!

I forgot to review the contract I received for starting mileage and fuel on the vehicle, both of which were incorrect. The starting odometer on the vehicle was ~30 miles higher when i received it that what was written on the contract, and the fuel was at 1/8th tank, but the contract was marked at 3/8th tank. Unfortunately, since i didn't verify these before I drove off, I had no recourse and ended up paying significantly more than I should have.

Horrible customer service! Constant turnover and no place to park. And, your new license photo procedure is time consuming and pointless. The only reason I rent from this location is convenience (it’s less than 2 miles from my home) otherwise, I’d rent elsewhere.

I had the rudest staff contact me at 5:00 pm. It was the only woman working in the office. Not only did she call and attack me about returning my equipment when I was told I had until the branch closed to return my equipment. She got extremely upset and was extremely agreesive for absolutely no reason. My experience picking up the equipment was wonderful but returning and having to deal with an individual as rude as that makes me never want to do business with U-Haul or that location ever again.... again it was the woman working at 5:00 pm in the office. Not only did was she rude on the phone, she was rude in the office and took a picture of me when I was leaving as well as the fact that she hung up the phone on me when I asked why she was being rude and inconsiderate to me

I originally was going to rent from the Piedmont Ave location until i read all of their horrible reviews. I then looked up this location on Peachtree. Great reviews! The service was quick and professional. Couldnt have been better.

Was told I had to park at Kroger or Walgreens, that the manager was not allowing anyone to park in the lot. Illegal to park in other lots and nonsense way to run a business. Gas charge was excessive for mileage. Plan to report this to my Secretary of State in Georgia

The staff ws rude and talking amonst themselves rather than help customers, one team memaber was eating a box of Popeyes chicken in the store which made the store reek of food. The girl that helped me was amazingly rude. I was never notified I could borrow a ball and was forced to buy one. Upon returning the trailer, they said they were closed ( at 6:20) but I could drop off the trailer and leave it there. They were the worst staff I have ever encountered.

Absolutely terrible experience dealing with one staff member in particular at this location. I rented the vehicle online and opted for the mobile check-in, worst mistake I could have made. I came to the counter to pick up my rental keys as instructed by uhaul on my phone. I told the cashier, Shunlita, that I'd rented online and needed my keys but she did not listen to a word I said and wrongly assumed the truck was being rented by someone else. Not once did she ask for my name or any type of verification that would have clued her into what was going on, but instead made me redo everything I'd already done online while I repeatedly told her I'd already done all these things. It took at least an hour for her to comprehend her mistake, after she rudely debated me on whether or not uhaul had already charged my credit card for the rental (it had). Once she realized her complete and total error, Shunlita passed me off to another male employee who further confused and frustrated the situation, and then finally Candace stepped in and saved the day. I SO wish I'd gone to Candace first!! I got double charged on my credit card over this whole fiasco, lost over an HOUR that was meant for moving my apartment, and seriously lost all faith in uhaul over this experience.

I have been using this location for years to rent trucks/vans to move my interior design furniture from one house to another. I arrived today at 7 am, and the door was locked. There was an employee walking around the lot saying she had to check in trucks before she would open the store to rent me my truck. I had movers waiting for me, hence I showed up at 7 am super early to get it. She finally opened the door at 7:20 while I waited for 15-20 minutes outside. I asked for a specific van, and I guess she misunderstood which one I wanted, so she gave me a filthy dirty van with mud all over the back (and I was moving nice furniture so this was a problem). I didn't have time to go back in and tell her this was NOT the van I wanted, so I just left with the dirty van. Very disappointed. The regular manager must not be there any longer, and the construction next door to the facility makes it almost impossible to return equipment. Sorry that this location has progressed to this. I previously gave this location 5 stars for everything....

The person that helped me when I picked up my equipment was excellent. Took a minute to show me the best way to use simple furniture dollies and I was very appreciative. The man who took my return was equally as pleasant. This is a high-volume location and a very very very busy area and the man who work there that I have interacted with are very good. They are working with a small piece of property in a high construction area and I am very impressed with the way they keep it clean and well-maintained. Thank you will definitely use again

U-haul has been the most stressful part of my moving experience. After booking two weeks in advance, we get a call less than 24 hours before pickup with a different time, location, and truck than we had reserved. Why even make a reservation at that point? They also had a completely random number and email on file for me and couldn't tell me where those came from. Then when it came time to drop off, we show up at the drop off location and are told that we can't drop anything there. When we went to the second location that the U-haul employee directed us to, they said they also couldn't take our equipment back and had no idea why anyone would have told us that. Thankfully the manager at this drop off location took pity on us and said he would find some room for our equipment there. I am thankful for the in person employees that were helpful to us DESPITE how disorganized and mismanaged the company is. I will never use U-haul again.

I had an extremely poor experience with this U haul location. The location told me that they we over booked for the days that I had reserved and that I would not be able to have a truck for the entirety of my reservation. The gentlemen that worked at the front desk was extremely rude and was not in the least bit customer focused. No apology was made for the error in over booking and I was told that, "He could not help what other people in U haul did". Upon returning the vehicle there was a large line of customers trying to return equipment and only one person of the several U haul employees present was even making any effort to assist their customer or even acknowledging that any customers were on the premises. I believe that this location is a terrible reflection on Uhaul and is a great example of how a customer facing team should not function.

Customer service and location was excellent. The van locked itself with the keys in it (keys were on the seat). There were no signs or warnings that this would happen. Would be good if there were mechanisms in place so that it doesn’t happen. Thanks for the great service otherwise.

I was disappointed that the $10.00 insurance was mandatory if my own insurance didn't cover commercial vehicle (van). Never had that problem before. Disappointed on the $13 gas charge as I hoped the gage was close enough to where it was so that no such charge would be assessed.

Multiple service lights came on within 20 miles of my drive (tire monitoring system, check engine, and a trailer related light) but the interior was clean. I made 2 reservations for the day and while I was out on my first reservation, the changed my 2nd pick up location adding 30 miles round trip to the new location. No accommodations were made to assist with dropping off the first reservation and I was charged the mileage for their change to my reservation due to overbooking

The only real issue I had with my rental was that they had the fuel level mark incorrectly on the paperwork, although it's my fault for not looking at the paperwork,( I always take pictures of the fuel level before I leave the location) but they should come outside and check the truck out and not do it from their desk and rely on the information from the last check in. Trucks get moved around and sometimes left running for a while which burns gas. I had to leave the location and drive 3 extra miles just to put $1.79 worth of gas in the truck when I had already put 4 gallons in it before I took it back. My total miles were only 9 miles when I first tried to return it. I do believe the truck gets more than 2 miles per gallon.

I would not rent from or recommend Uhaul ever again. Deceptive language on the contract speaks of any extended contract as “outside of time agreed”, when any extension of the contract is clearly time agreed upon when I CALLED TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT. As a result, I racked up more than $100 in extra fees I did not know I would be charged. The Atlanta location I used was great and the truck was clean, but I will never use Uhaul again because of their absolutely SHADY practices.

Staff was friendly but sorely overworked. My rental experience included over an hour wait, mischarging my credit card repeatedly (resulting in authorizations for 6 separate transactions and a fraud notification from Discover) placing declined insurance on my contract then searing there was no way to remove it, being overcharged for mileage even though I brought the discrepancy to the attention of an inept female employee, the rental vehicle being blocked in and having to wait an unreasonable amount of time to be able to leave the facility despite explaining that I had to be somewhere by a deadline. I had an e-alert on my account that was placed on my account for no explainable reason which was removed quickly but caused me to lose my place in line and wait over half an hour for Marc to return to assist me. This was my worst visit to a Uhaul facility that I can remember

Rented a auto hauler trailer. Could not take the haul as the tail lights were not functioning. Returned the trailer to the store same afternoon. Asked for trailer with tail lights. None available. Assumed my account would be credited. Yet the charge for one day was applied to my AX card. Will phone the manager tomorrow and ask for a credit. If no success take it up with AX. Nice folks. The day prior to using this location, I had a horrible experience with another location and was questioning whether I would ever use U-Haul again. However, even on the last day of the month, this location was superb in every aspect! In the future if I'm ever in need of a U-Haul in Atlanta again, I will definitely be looking to return to this location.

I was misquoted a rental price when I rented originally and then I was misinformed what actual price would be charged to my credit card as well. Resulting in multiple calls to corporate customer service where I spoke to Jake and Cynthia as well as a 3rd rep all on the same day, April 1 2019. Called GM Mr. Dione Duprill well before close at 7pm and Mr. Duprill had left for the day. Very frustrated! Please make this right, UHaul and do not charge my CC the amount on the final bill. Final bill amount is inaccurate!

I had my confirmed reservation for a 17 ft truck. When I get there the afent told me that my res is for 15 ft truck. Even I show my confirmation nothing had changed. I had already scheduled my move there was no chance for me to not to accept it. I needed to take additional trip and it costed me higher because the mover helpers needed to work more. Also it was the most dirty truck i have ever seen.

I reserved a 10 foot truck and when I got there they had me down for a smaller van. There were no other bigger trucks available so I had to make multiple trips moving instead of 1 and paid a little extra because of this. The employee who helped me was very nice and called to see if he could get me another truck at another location but it did not work out. I’ve had multiple issues when I’ve used this location. The employees are very nice but my order is never correct when I show up.

The staff member was difficult. I had selected the preference to be contacted via e-mail but he insisted I give him my phone number or else he would not rent me the vehicle. He even called my number right then and made me show him that my cell was ringing. I wanted to avoid unwanted advertising calls and text messages but not even an hour later I already started receiving multiple, unwanted text messages despite my request for contact via email. Very user un-friendly experience. The rental website was cumbersome and vague. My requested location and time were not honored and U-Haul chose another inconvenient location for me instead.

I was told to park my personal car 2 buildings away as opposed to the location's parking lot even though I had a parking spot already. The employee told me that most people park their cars overnight there and it should be fine. I was advised that the parking spots were for 15 minute parking only. It was just an odd interaction.

Marc Plummer is the absolute worst employee I have ever met with your organization. He keeps his vape pipe on the count that is obviously loaded with THC based products because he can't remember the last words you say to him and he has to get 2 inches from the monitor to see what he just typed into the system. I rented from this location twice in one week and each time he was clueless and they overcharged me both times and had the wrong vehicles reserved each time. I would have to sit and wait for the other staff to correct his errors and then they would send me out with vehicles at different gas levels than on the original contracts for the wrong vehicles. After my 2nd rental on Wednesday I sat and reserved a vehicle for Friday of that week and when I arrived Marc "The Pot Head" Plummer had forgotten to save my reservation in the system. I told them I had to have a vehicle and he said " nothing I can do, your gonna have to call 1-800-UHAUL". Not an, I'm sorry or let me help, Smokey just looked at me said it was my fault for not checking his work, which was on the screen I couldn't see and I was without a vehicle for my move that next day. NEVER USE THIS LOCATION EVER!!!! Unless you are a semi cute female and you will get ALL of Marc's attention. He literally dropped 5 customers to go hit on a girl in the parking lot. "What's Up shorty can I hit that?" UHAUL you can do better, and if it wasn't for your Customer Service Personnel when I called in, I would have been completely screwed for my move. Again don't go to this location unless you need some THC oil for your vape pen or like being abused by stupid people... Good Luck!!!

I was greeted by a man at the front door that only waved and smiled, when I asked who could help me the gentleman did not respond but continued to stare at me. Once I was with another rep he went over the needs of the service and asked me for additional paperwork. I was hesitant as my call to the customer the day prior was more pleasant than the location. Leaving the property I noticed the tire pressure light was on and the tire seemed a little flat, the rep with dreads stated this vehicle was having sensor problems so don’t worry about it. Soon return, I informed the new rep that I had to put air in the tire just to make sure I could make it to my next destination. He continues to state that I could be charged for the tire as if I caused the error. I’ve never experienced the inconsistency from your company living on the west coast. I will be following up with corporate regarding this issue.

I had to come back to make a claim as I was charged double for the equipment rented even when I delivered the vehicle on time... To start I had a reservation cancelled in another location I was given a smaller vehicle in this location therefore had to use double the miles and double the time an additional expenses with the hired crew ... in top incorrectly billed .... Uhual just made it real bad day.

There is no way I would ever go back to this location. I rented this van on Wed at 5pm and returned by 4pm on Thurs. The line was out the door long on Thurs so they wanted all the keys for people just returning which I did. I got the bill later and they charged me for an extra day (30 minutes over) which was their friggin fault. I am a single mom and to have this money tied up until you all can research and refund is absolutely ridiculous. Add to that, I have tried to speak to a manager at the location since Saturday. I left a message Sat for a call. NO CALL RETURNED. I called again on Monday and was promised a return call. NO CALL RETURNED. I called 7 times yesterday and kept getting put on hold each time about 15 minutes. I finally gave up. I am pissed. I am very disappointed. I usually rent from 14th Street location and they would never treat their customers like that. The girl from customer service that took my complaint was very nice but everyone at that location is awful. I certainly want my friggin refund for the extra day charge but I actually think I should be refunded the entire amount with the way I have been treated. I want this resolved asap. I WANT AN APOLOGY from this location as well. 404-374-4626

Unfortunately I was a little unlucky. I was given in the rent noticeably damaged from the side and rear Van, with the lack of some parts on it. That day I had to meet with serious people who arrived in Atlanta on an official visit. I was very uncomfortable. They could perceive it as disrespect to the delegation. I drew your employee attention to this fact, but he didn't even suggest I change the car.

First off I made a reservation online on Feb 12 or 13th. I took an Uber to pick up my rental as told by Marc Plummer at the Brookehaven Location that because I was a "First Time Renter" that I need a copy of my lease, or car registration, or a passport to complete my renta, all while smoking his E Cigarette. Now when making my online reservation this wasn't disclosed to me! Now when making my reservation you ask for a billing address, I think that would pretty much clear things up, but ok. Luckily it started raining heavily and I changed my mind on moving that day. Now after making another reservation and bringing my passport I was able to complete my reservation. However I encountered Mr.Plummer again. I requested a King Size Mattress Cover the one that cost 4.95, and Mr Plummer said they were in back on the store and he did feel like getting retrieving one for me to purchase. At this time there we no other customers in the store and there was another associate working. I asked him again and he flat out refused! Instead I had to purchase the mattress cover the costs 12.95. Now to my milage issue, from the Brookehaven location to my new home is exactly 22miles each way. From the Brookehaven Location to my Apartment in Buckhead 3.6 miles, Mr Plummer asked me specifically how many miles would I be going before he ran my card. I told him 60 miles tops, based on my calculations. On the paper the truck the milage at 150052 i thought the 52 was 92. I didn't realize my milage was off until I started to return back. I did talk to Mr.plummer upon my return. He said there is nothing he could do about it. He said i should call corporate and I asked if he could call while I'm in the store he flat out refused! He didn't even nonthe customer service number because I asked him to write it down for me. Meanwhile there is nobody in the store and he has nothing pressing at the moment! To be honest I find Mr. Plummers attitude and customer Service skills indigent at best. He lacks a "can do" attitude and seems rather ill suited for this aspect of customer service.

I reserved a covered 5x8 trailer several days prior to picking up the trailer. Instead, when I arrived, they gave me an uncovered trailer (that was slightly bigger). Luckily, the weather changed from rain to no rain, so I did not make a fuss that they did not have the trailer I reserved, even though their policy guarantees your trailer. Additionally, the employee who assisted me was very helpful and nice, so I didn't want to hassle him (can't remember his name,). Moving with the uncovered trailer meant we needed ropes to tie things down, which we did not have, so it did cause a slight inconvenience. Plus, the uncovered trailer had leaves and pinestraw in it from being parked under a tree. Moral of the story, good service with enjoyable employees, but you may want to call ahead to make sure they have the trailer that they say they do.
