Have extra empioyees on weekends on the first weekend of the month when rental volume is higher. We had quite a wait renting and returning.

Be more accommodating to the needs of those who made a reservation. If the location of the trailer pick up is switched then the rental items should be at that location as well. It was very inconvenient having to go back and forth between two locations in order to pick up the reserved trailer that was made a week in advance which should be plenty of time to meet the accommodation.

We had to replace a windshield wiper in the middle of the mountains during rain and it was terrifying. Still wondering how to get a refund for it???

The owner is ridiculous. He refused to rent the uhaul until he had spoken with someone that I tried to use as my second contact. 1) I had already completed my application online so there was no forewarning that this was going to take place. 2) I was on my lunch break so I did not have time to go through my phone hoping someone would answer without the forewarning. I also didn't have time to get another Uhaul. 3) This should be noted either a) in the online app or b) shouldn't be allowed. FYI - The Location on COLORADO does NOT act this way.

First location canceled my reservation, and they were mean about it. Long wait, only to be canceled. Second location was not even open. Third location was an hour wait. They blamed it on computer system, which also occurred, when i rented in August. I will not use U-Haul ever again

Let customers know there will be an after hrs fee. I rented a truck from 6pm Saturday til 6pm Sunday and was charged a $20 after hrs fee. Not my fault you close at 5pm on sunday.

Van was clean inside but had not been washed. There were two similar vans that were clean. I had to wait several minutes inside the store while no one was at the counter. The vehicle performed fine, however, and check in was a breeze.

You can straighten out your business practices. This is the second time this company has been sub-par. There will not be a third. I will actively petition against the use of uhaul and I will actively seek and promote any and all competitors.

Everything about this experience was absolutely horrendous. My contract changed locations and truck sizes 3x from the original contract. I received notification about the first change and spoke with someone in AZ that was able to correct it and then it changed again without notification so I had to drive to another facility to find out the truck size changed again the morning of my rental. After waiting an hour to get the wrong sized truck I was finally able to start my move. The truck itself drove ok but the lower dash engine cover was loose and while driving on the highway the heat from the engine was scorching my legs as it entered the cab of the truck. Because the truck was smaller than what I rented I had to make 2 trips and that added mileage to my day that I was not anticipating. The last facility employee promised a $50 credit but that never materialized on my credit card statement. He kept complaining that it should not be his location to offer the credit but the original location on the contract. That should be internalized and a process for the stores to figure out, not a verbalization or excuse that I want to hear as a customer. I will never use Uhaul again or recommend your service to anyone. As a side note, the previous month I tried to use your trailer hitch service; the parts that were ordered a week in advance for my vehicle were lost in transit, I could not trust them to get the parts before a vacation I had planned so I canceled the order and went to Lampert Hitch in Denver and had a most pleasant experience.

Don’t allow people to smoke in the vehicles. The unit smelled like smoke

I returned my rental late. I had rented at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday intending to return by 730 on Thursday. Instead I had to return Friday morning. I understand charging for the additional miles and a late fee. However, I was charged more for returning late than if I had correctly estimated my needed time. This is not good customer service to charge more than if I had rented it for the correct amount of time to begin with. I will never rent from you u haul again and will discourage everyone I know from using u haul.
