Jodi UPlease notify people if you keep dollys and blankets in the truck. They were in my way. Dolly was not bolted in and I brushed against it exiting the truck and accidentally pulled it off and dislodged the plastic band - necessitating a call to uhual and additional explanation to staff to avoid being charged. Felt like a shady business practice - making it very easy for people dislodge and then charge them.

jose hU-Haul agent had horrible customer service. No explanation of process and simply had no intentions to assist the overall process of rental. Never using this location again
Tony MTook over an hour to pickup truck due to app outage and disastrously poor customer service at pickup location. Other customers waited hours.
Dustin MCheck in was a little clunky on the app & I had to go to the counter, but it was a minor inconvenience. Everything else went smoothly, the truck drove fine. Truck smelt a little bit like cigarette smoke. Drop off was a breeze.
Luke RMy boyfriend and I waited inside the stored for over 15 minutes without an employee in site. So as a normal person would do we called the store number, no one answered and I was transferred to corporate. Corporate said they were reaching out to someone. Few minutes later a larger man entered with a BAD attitude, didn’t say “Hello” or “sorry for your wait” but said “so your the ones the complained saying the store way abandoned?” And then the rest of the interaction was horrible, he brought it up multiple times. We explained to him that “no one ratted you out, we just are here to pick up our truck and didn’t see anyone”. He got so rude to the point I had to have my boyfriend do the interaction the rest of the visit because I couldn’t stand the disrespect. Let’s keep in mind no one else was there picking up a vehicle or trailer. We saw the cameras. It was snowing and most people picking up uhauls have a long and stressful day ahead of them. Very disappointing that the start to our move was met but such a RUDE employee. Maybe don’t take a smoke break during your shift next time. Wish I could give no stars as this guy was so uncomfortable to interact with. Have moved and use U-Haul lot but will never go back to this location. We are customers and should not be treated with such disrespect.

Michelle BToo much tech, apps, QR codes, pictures while the employee on duty wasn’t busy, couldn’t he look at the truck and check me out? Quicker hardly I was there 40 minutes trying to figure out how to complete the check out.

travis swebsite shouldnt let me use an out of state license to rent a pickup if it’s not allowed. caused a lot of inconvenience and frustration this morning. app was not great for returning the vehicle, photos would not upload, had to trust the GM telling me it’s fine and he would just take care of it

jenelle mThe staff was very rude and unwelcoming. They did not want to help us even though we asked. One of the staff commented, "Jesus Christ, how hard can it be?" and "read the directions on the wall", and then she turned her back and walked away. It's very clear she doesn't want to work there. She also said " just leave it and we'll bill you". We ended up calling UHaul, and Jennifer ended up helping us check out. (She was very nice and helpful). The onsite staff could of resolved this easily rather than cussing and being downright nasty.
Terri TSelf check in/out was useless. Personnel was unhelpful.
Yvette FI had reserved two 26 ft trucks, with my credit card, three weeks in advance for Denver to Bucks County Pennsylvania. The day before I was to pick up my trucks they told me they didn’t have any available. They said they would give me 220 footers and two trailers and that’s only after I was really upset, I finally tracked down the 26 footer on my own and I used one of the 20 footers that they rented me in place of my 26 footer. It was an absolute nightmare and I will never ever use UH again. By the way, I usually rent a couple dozen times a year for long-distance moves and local moves. Thank you Dan Heilig.
dan hI was VERY impressed with everything at the Alameda location! I was not able to complete a rental at Elati st, so drove over, and they were able to take care of me.
John LLack of customer service checking in and checking out. We asked for assistance checking out ( which they gave us poor information, they couldn't be bothered and had to look it up on line on our own. It seemed like the manager could care less about working there let alone any other UHaul facility. I've had excellent service at other locations. Very disappointed at this location.
Eric LTruck was not properly loaded with the dolly I rented. I also paid for 2 sets of rental blankets and the store had none. Consequently I am now getting charged for not “ returning” the rental blankets. Additionally, there was minimal help by the front desk manager. 0/10 for service

Lawrence SGavin changed my reservation to mobile so he didnt have to speak to me. While i was at the location, he called another customer and told them their reservation was changed to mobile since no one would be at the location to help them.
Alejandro OI had the worst experience here from the start to finish. 1st the website is misleading you can only use your debit card to rent box trucks only. Being a single female I selected to rent the van because it would be safer for me to drive I did an online reservation read all the disclosures however it was never mentioned that debit cards with major CC labels can ONLY BE USED FOR BOX RENTALS NOT THE TRUCK OR THE VAN. Which logically makes no sense. So I was unaware of that upon arrival to pick up my rental. That was the beginning of my nightmare dealing with this location. The general manager Gabe was working by his self and was making people install the uhual app on their phones to purchase or check out. I specifically selected this location because I did not want to install the uhal app and wanted to interact with a human. I will be honest I was a bit agitated by the whole process. Gabe was rude, condescending and helped other customers while I was trying to check my truck out all while I clearly stated I was pressed for time and had to get going because I had movers meeting me. He purposely took his time checking me out so I would be late. Upon returning the vehicle another employee refused to check me in via the counter saying I had to install the uhual app which again I clearly chose that location to avoid having to do that. He checked me out via his hand device and came back an threw my receipt at me like annoyed him by asking him to check me out. Keep in mind there WERE NO CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE WHEN I WENT TO RETURN THE VEHICLE SO WHY COULDN'T HE CHECK ME OUT? My advice is stay away from this location if you are a single female!!! They are not abiding by what is advertised on the website and the customer service is traumatizing!!! I called customer service before, and after I would never recommended this location!!!!
