There were no problems with this rental. It was quite efficient and the staff at this location was excellent.

The U-Haul was dropped off at the location, there was one person working who was on the phone when I arrived with one person in line. It took about 10 minutes for me to make it to the counter. During the inspection she got to the gas tank. The tank was at the top of the fill line and she said because it wasn’t full she had to charge me $19.50. I took it to the gas station to fill it up. The pump went to $3.75 and clicked off. The needle was up just before the F. I was charged $7.50 for what I can estimate was about .25-.50 worth of gas. The lady then raised her voice with me so I stopped pleading and left.

The customer service was terrible, never received the dolly I rented. Caused me to need the truck an extra day, I shouldn’t have to pay for the extra time, I shouldn’t be billed for things I didn’t even receive!

The staff was incompetent. I registered on line and he ended up writing the same information I had supplied on your website???!!! He forgot to add the rope I had purchased because he was so busy eating his breakfast and then couldn't get the register open to give me my change, He also had to go find the key. Why register on line if it didn't make my time at UHaul any shorter? Engine light was on for an oil change when I got in the truck so I went back and asked them why and they said don't worry about it. When you were located closer to Asheville on Sweeten Creek Rd, we had excellent service with those guys.

The return policy is ridiculous. I was not told that I had to be at the physical location and you would use my phone’s GPS to track me. If I did not comply with your insane demands I would be charged 20 dollars

Moving is such a stressful task and the entire staff’s kindness made the whole process more pleasant. Rana was excellent even though the location was very busy with equipment installs. I usually rent at the location closer to my house but I rented a truck and a u-box and I will definitely be back in the future to this location. Keep up the great work and your manager Rana is working very hard. Great attention to detail.

I clocked my miles that I used and it was exactly 34 miles but they charged me for 68 miles. They also said that there was a half tank when i got the truck but there was only 1/4 tank and I had to buy another $20 in gas. They completely took advantage. It was obvious the truck was used before I my rental and it was not clocked accordingly nor the gas replaced to half a tank. Totally disappointed and the workers did not care. Completely unethical and unprofessional. I will tell all of my friends and collegues.

Impossible to complete online, after-hours check-in from a computer - not everyone has access to a mobile device. The threat of a charge was stressful, though the technician at the Sweeten Creek location was understanding and waived the fee.

I felt insulted when returning the truck were charged extra for going 3 miles over the expected limit! After working hard to return the truck clean and with more fuel than we started with really made me angry. Your corporate bean counters need to give local store managers enough discretion to treat your customers with more respect.

When I first arrived, there was no one at the desk or even in the rather large office. Went walking around the lot looking for someone, was told to go back to the office and they would help me. When I went back, there was a woman helping another customer, she had been out on the lot helping him when I first arrived. Took a while for them to be done. She was very helpful when she did get to me, but there really should be 2 people there at a minimum. Maybe there normally are, but if not you should improve the staffing. To repeat, the woman was very helpful, she did a great job given she was alone, this is not her fault. You should give her help.

I enjoyed my experience here. So much is done online that all I had to do was pick up and drop off. Very quick and simple. I got the 26 foot truck. It fit everything well, and I had a decent experience overall with it. About panicked with the clock in the dash being wrong, but that only lasted a moment. This is the biggest vehicle I have ever driven. It was a bit daunting. But I took my time and was careful, and it all went well. Still not sort ergonomic. But better than the smaller truck i rented before.

General manager at this location has very poo=customer service e skills. In the 30 plus years that I have used this Company i have NEVER had to provide extreme amount of information just to rent a vehicle. I waited in line for over an hour just to have the process take another 30 minutes to complete process THIs will not happen again I will never use this location again. I called corporate office e and voiced my complaint t.

Your team made me produce a residential lease agreement and a contact person to rent the truck because I had an out of state drivers license. Nothing on your website said I needed to do that when I made the reservation. I walk in to the store at 9am to pick up my rental and I get these requests? Why in the world do you need an additional contact and a lease? I felt the process was abusive and an invasion of my privacy. I will never use UHaul again.

My only complaint is not with the facility or staff but the fact that I was given the wrong address for the arrival of the U-Box when I placed the reservation. The staff here helped me locate it.
