Great Customer Service they are my go to rental place.
TIMOTHY FThe man didn't know how to check me in and he didn't do it when I was there so I had to take a picture of him and the keys to show that I turned it in a he said someone else was coming in and he will get them to do it.and he did not know how to work the app
TERRIA PThe 5x9 trailer with ramp rental needs to have a motorcycle chock option in the rental when customer is initiating rental. Also please give Paul and everyone there at this pick up location a 5 STARS ⭐️ for their assistance n friendliness!!!
Christopher WI know this is overall Uhaul policy, not necessarily the fault of this specific location. But when a customer is a couple hours late on a scheduled Tuesday return time, after being told by the drop off location’s employee to “don’t worry about it, just drop it off Wednesday” and gets charged $140 it gives the customer a bad experience. Also, if extended days are added by Uhaul to the reservation, the customer should have the option on whether to continue to use the optional insurance. Due to the fact I was already at my destination, I no longer needed it. Anyway. Kinda disappointed in my drop off experience.

James WWhen i looked up the price for what i rented it was $118 ended up costing me $170. Plus an additional $15 fee and you cant take the trailer off to run the vehicle through the carwash. Nice vehicle, would probably rent again but please be more visible on pricing. Also the chains are to long on the trailer so the drag on the ground.

The rear door took considerable force to close it , the truck was completely empty on fuel when we picked it up, the steering intermediate shaft was failing so every time you made a turn the shaft would clunk truck had a horrible exauste leak close to manifolds I feel as through these trucks should be better maintained. It was clean. But didn’t seem to be mechanically solid

Wilson BIt wasn't clear that the storage unit would be a 2nd level storage unit. The front door where you pull up wasn't working. Had to get large items through he smaller side door. There was no lift available to bring the large items to the 2nd floor.

Jessica WUsually the U-Haul equipment I rent is in good condition; however, the 6’x12’ trailer I last rented was in poor condition. The exterior was beaten up pretty badly. Also, it looked as though the trailer had been overloaded causing the axle area to hump up. It’s time to recapitalize. Just a suggestion. The staff was excellent. Very helpful.
Philip LDon’t force your customers to check in and out on an app. Some of us don’t do well with technology and would prefer to conduct business with people on site. Worst service in a very long time. Penske will retain my future business for sure.

Rhonda MNot so much the location but the condition of the trailer. First, the passenger side fender was rusted and pieced together, the entire undercarriage was covered in red clay, including the tires and the inside was not swept out. Secondly, the double axle trailer has no jack..... unacceptable. I had to use my vehicle jack when i had to remove the trailer. Lastly, the trailer wobbled and swayed at anything over 50 mph. Something is wrong when a double axle trailer with the majority of the load in the front sways at that speed. I pull boats, rv's, utility trailers and my 6x12 covered trailer and it has never swayed like that. I am not happy at all with this product and would like a call regarding this. At this point, i will NEVER use another U Haul product. 407-310-8432 TJ

Mark DThe Uhaul app and checkout process is basically outsourcing the labor for check out to the buyer. After paying $1300 to rent a truck for 4 days the last thing I want to do is spend 15 minutes taking pictures of my truck, of the mileage, and carrying the dolly to where it needs to go while i watch 3 people stand around and do nothing. From a business perspective, the app makes total sense as you probably have to staff less at the site however from a customer experience perspective its kind of terrible. when I went to the desk the and asked to return my keys, the response was "you have a text on your phone follow the directions there"

Paris JUnits are inside a large warehouse type building. The small (inexpensive) units are in the middle of the building with stairs to get to them and then a hall to walk down to get to your unit. There is a cart for the ground level from your car to the stairs but then you have to carry it up the stairs and down the hall. The units with no stairs are more than double the price. All units are built on the same cement slab warehouse floor why stairs? I paid for a month but it was to difficult for me to do the stairs and hall over and over so I took stuff out instead of bringing the rest wasting one months rent.

James WThis place is GREAT! Not even 24 hours of using them and they have done great for me. They didn't have any disk locks for me to have via their free lock deal, but they did allow me to use my regular lock until I can get the money to get one. I got a free month, only having to pay the 11 dollar insurance. More than pleased with uhaul already!

Brian GThe staff member I dealt with at pick up was very short with me and seemed frustrated by my presence. She was rude to me when I couldn't get the Uhaul app to load on my phone and said in a very snide tone "its probably your messed up settings". The ramp on the truck was too short which made for a steep trek into and out of the truck. The ramp also wasn't secured properly, so when I first pulled it out to set up to load, the entire ramp came out from under the truck. It took my wife and I over 30 minutes to get the ramp back on track. When I turned in the truck I told the associate at the counter about the ramp coming out and he said "thats how they're designed and this is usually a result of people pulling on them too hard". I don't understand why or how the equipment is not thoroughly checked prior to being assigned to a customer. I've used Uhaul at least a dozen times in the past 6 or 7 years and this was the single worst customer service I've ever received. I would be appalled if one of my employees spoke to or shrugged off a concern of one of my clients. I paid over $200 for the use of this truck for 24 hours with an additional $50 purchase of fuel to be treated like my concerns don't matter. Uhaul is historically the cheapest option when renting a moving truck, but the next time I need a rental I will heavily consider paying more to have proper and professional treatment.

Because you got to Wade a long time when you when you got hiring 1 person 2. They took their sweet time talking to the people more than tried to. Good all of a customers too much talking. Let's talk to more work so to get people out... I waited over 45 minutes that it's ridiculous. I will go to another u haul next time

Patricia P | First ImpressionsStaff is rude and act as though you are bothering them. Storage unit had a leak in the past causing mold to my things which the majority had to be thrown away. There is also a hole with mold on the floor of the unit. Some of the Insulation laying on the wire at the top of the Storage unit fell on my furniture and boxes along with black tar used to fix the roof of where the leak was. Manager at the Providence Uhaul did not care and again treated me like I was bothering her and was just trying to get me out. Went to sweep out the unit because I moved my things out and planned to be out by the 31st of the month. When I got to the unit there was a green band on it saying ready to rent. Went to the office talked to the manager and let her know. Asked if I was going to be charged because I hadn't swept it out. She said no I was done. When I mentioned again that I couldn't get in the unit she asked me when I moved my stuff out. Told her I had moved the last of it on Saturday night and she said that they weren't going to keep the unit open for a long time. It was only 1 day. Moved stuff out on Saturday and went to sweep on Monday. I still had 4 days left on the contract and they put it up for rent before the completion of the contract. I was never contacted about the unit or notified that it was being locked. They made the unit available knowing of the mold and hole in wood floor. Also, did not remove the insulation. I had that unit for about 10 yrs. I have another unit unit with my father's things which I am removing, I've had that unit for almost 3 yrs. They would not cover the damages and expected my insurance to pay for it. Why should I have to pay for something they were responsible for maintaining, meaning the roof with leak. Also, it was a climate controlled unit. Unfortunately, the Providence Uhaul makes all Uhauls look bad. I will never use another uhaul and will advise people not to use it either. I spent a lot of money to protect my things just to lose over half of it in the end. I am very angry that the things I was trying to protect are gone. Needs new management because the one there has no clue on what is going on there and how to treat people.

Deborah B | Overall ExperienceMy unit 759 collapsed damaging a lot of my things was told someone would come out to fix it last Saturday at 12 no one called waited until after 1:30 to just do things myself and found my property thrown everywhere broke not how I left my unit lady calls Wednesday I want to say with an attitude saying they have someone to fix I explain calmly that we had no more time to waste I was told 12 o’clock it would be fixed and no one showed up and my husband and son had to fix things so we could see how badly things were broken she caught an attitude and hung up I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I just wanted to get my what was left and not broke into my other unit and not have to keep paying for a unit that collapsed.

When I went to find another unloading area, two cars were parked sideways taking up 4 spots. So we ended up parking at the front and our unit was all the way in the back. We didn’t see any other unloading areas so if there were any, they weren’t well marked and nobody showed us any. People (some were employees) were smoking out front so nobody was paying attention to them. The person who ended up helping us get in did explain the check in process, but again, not super clear from any email I got initially. I would recommend this because of the price and location but everything else was just a little frustrating.

We had to rush to finish packing up because it took the uhaul guy an hour and a half to show up so we could get the last load then stood over us watching us with his wife all the way till 10 o’clock.
