Online check-in process was klunky and it would have been helpful to know in advance that I would need to prove who I was upon arrival. I don't carry my passport or a lease agreement with me and I had to let my two contacts know on short notice to expect a call from Uhaul.

It was just time consuming going thru process online for pickup It was confusing Then I got help thru some one I called for live chat with uhaul and I got walked thru very well at that time. Key box is so low to ground it's hard to get numbers straight and see them that low But now I know the process for next time. Thank u. It was great location and great truck

Elaine B | Overall ExperienceThe Uhaul wasn't clean. In fact, there was a customer gas receipt from July 2020. Also, the retrieve process was horrible. It took over 30mins to get it. We had to call customer service and asked them to extend the time and they were unable. It took 3 phones for the retrieve vehicle process to work. We are tech smart so that wasn't the issue. Overall, will not rent from this location again.

Mark BI checked in online and it gave me a truck assignment then it said awaiting approval. After about 20 minutes I saw my vehicle that was assigned to me driving off with someone else in it I was on the phone with customer service. So I went back online got assigned another truck it took about an hour to finally get my vehicle. Then the mileage was wrong so a customer service person said the field manager was going to call me. It never happened. When I returned it I had to put the wrong mileage in in order for it to except my return so I emailed the customer service rep. It was a very bad rental experience!

Eric HImprove the mileage of the truck. I went 53 miles, used $20 worth of gas. Truck was a pig, slowed down to 35 mph climbing hills, empty.

Jason RUnits have severe condensation, cause water damage and mold. The rodent population is crazy. Units are all opened to each other in front so mice and bugs travel. No secure gate, left open all the time

I lost almost half an hour off of my rental time due to picking up my truck. I ended up being ~20 minutes late because of that, a woman who wouldn't let us out at kroger gas station, and tons of construction on the interstate but it didn't bill me for an extra day so that's really nice and I appreciate that greatly!

Tate MTerrible experience. Allowed me to reserve an appliance dolly that was not available. Huge inconvenience to me as a consumer. Person at location was no help, U Haul transportation was no help. Huge fail on customer service. Would not recommend U Haul 24/7 to anyone and will not do any business with Summit in the future for any reason.

Mark ETwo tires from the unit had to be replaced after a blow out. The maintenance on these trailers is pathetic. The winches were rusted. I will seriously have second thoughts about doing business with Uhaul again.

CHARLES GI lost about two hours of truck time because the uhaul center in Eminence, Ky (where I made my reservation) did not open. I will not recommend the Hidden Treasure location. Summit Storage was great but about 10 miles away.

CHUCK JSummit Storage provided good service...UHaul however did not! I first made a reservation for Saturday and was sent a confirmation but was called on Friday and told my reservation would not be honored. I then had to scramble to try to find a truck and was unable to find one until the following Wednesday afternoon and even then could not pick it up until 2:00. This was most inconvenient as I had already make arrangements for manual help, had to cancel that and make other arrangements which meant people had to leave work early, some couldn't come at all, etc., and I was unable to vacate the property I was moving from on time, etc. And then,to top it all...For a $39.95 rental rate I received a bill for $152.60 in addition to putting $75.00 in gas in the truck. I find your advertising for a $39.95 truck that end up costing $227.60 to be outrageous and borders on false advertising. I not only will NEVER use UHaul again, but I am a Real Estate Broker and am asked constantly by folks moving who I would recommend for help...have always stated UHaul, but after my own experience I will never again and will in fact tell them my experience! The people at Summit were not to blame in any way and were kind and professional.
