I usually have zero issues with UHaul and this time my pickup location changed, the truck was awful, dirty and in terrible mechanical condition. I didn't have the dolly I ordered and customer service â€˜couldn't help me'. Terrible.Dustin W.

This particular location was clean and the equipment was brand new! I have no complaints! But i rented a appliance dolly and had some issues that caused me to keep the item way longer than anticipated! but even after the rental was returned I was still being charged...Melissa D.

They called three times and changed my truck and location. The truck was filthy when I picked it up. I spent three hours cleaning out the back of the truck before I could even start loading it. I swept and mopped the truck at the drop off location. I live on a fixed income because my husband died and left me with three young children so I needed my deposit back. They charged me $50 cleaning fee for a clean truck. They gave me 50 extra miles because they didn't have the truck I ordered in stock but turned around and charged and extra $8 for millage. I even made sure I put more gas in the truck than when I got it. I'm so upset. I have always used U-Haul to move. I will NEVER use uhaul again. Y'all overcharged a widow and took food out of my children's mouths. I will also make sure I tell everyone to stay away from y'all including all of my social media. I hope y'all lose so much business. What y'all did is so wrong. I'm sitting here crying because I needed that $50 to feed my children. Thanks crooks.Brandi J.

It was the only truck in both mobile county and mississippi so I had no other option but to take it and it smelled like vomit very strongly to the point of making me and my two children extremly nauseous overall a very very bad experiance because it was giving to me directly after it was returned by previous renter and was not cleaned. I am sure I will use another uhaul in my lifetime just as I have many times prior but this time was by far the worst experiance I have ever had in my history of rentals. Ivy WilsonIVY W.

I picked the truck in Saraland, Al the first thing the fuel was on Empty and not on a 1/4 of a tank. Second it has a very bad exhaust leak so bad had to drive to Indiana with the Windows round down to keep from getting sick from the fumes. I returned it back in locally and found out that the truck had to a a 1/4 tank fuel in it to keep from get changed fuel replacement cost. This was the worse uhaul truck I have ever had in all the times I have used uhaulJAMES T.

I tell you what, these ladys have gone above and beyond with helping me. I couldn't have chosen a better company to rent my Uhaul from. These girls need a raise for the job well done!! I would highly recommend this location to everyone. You go Amber And Rose. Climate Masters was so clean inside and out. You could tell my truck had been sanitized. It smelled so clean. I Asked the young lady of she could wipe the inside down one more time because of the Covid. She did not hesitate. She got up with no problem to help easy my mine. Thank ladys!Andy S.

The young lady at this place went well beyond the ordinary to help me drop the truck here. I was supposed to have dropped it 2 miles down the road. But since I had a ride coming she seen to it that it got dropped there. She was so very kind, knew how to change it and did it all with a great big smile !! THANKS UHAUL !!!!!!ALFRED S.

The survey up top is for climate master storage . The problem is with uhaul .Uhaul's system sucks ass and I will never rent from u haul again as long as I have other options it took 2 hrs to get the keys from locker ure system has never worked this cost me money I had to pay people for nothing because I couldn't get the truck climate masters wasn't the problem it's uhaulMarc M.
The person at the office kept messing up and had to re-enter my information at least three times. I was supposed to be charged $20 to use my phone to return the truck. This too was a disaster. It would not recognized my location and I had that enabled. I forgot to check if I was finally charged the additional $20. Something else got messed up and I was double charged. This was corrected. In all, I spent a few hours on the phone trying to return the truck and get the billing correct. I have always had a good experience with the U-Haul in Satsuma, AL. I won't be back to this one.Mark B.

Extremely poor customer service. Was charged for 2 items I did not receive. One item was reserved, â€œguaranteedâ€ (according to my email confirmation) then was not there when I went to pick up. I was still charged for it. Tried to call 10+ times throughout the next business day and could not get anyone to answer the phone. Very disappointed, would never recommend anyone use this location.Leah W.

I rented 2 U-Hauls, the largest one and a medium sized one. the largest one did not have a air condition in it working properly I had to drive four hours in this scorching hot sun. I would appreciate a refund I talk to the people where I dropped it Uhaul off at, in Helena Alabama they told me to call the 1-800 number I am responding right now.Loretta M.

Passenger side rear view mirror was broken and not functional. It would wobble and then go out of field of view. The truck should never have been allowed to be rented. I didn't notice when I picked the truck up it was held together with three screws. You need people inspecting these vehicles after every rental. Obviously U Haul is not doing this.Jon K.

Make sure the customer takes two packages of blankets on a order of 1 Dozen. The nice lady told me to take one package...and I didn't notice I only had 6 blankets until at the loading site. Other than that, this place was perfect.Richard A.

Returned truck to Saraland, Ala. Service was fast and thorough. Ashlyn Langley was very helpful and gave me coffee and let me use the internet while I waited inside their air conditioned showroom for my rent car to arrive (a 2 hour wait). Very pleasant and nice representative for UHaul.Gary O.

I wasn't too thrilled with the log in system for Uhaul. We had computer issues and I basically had to redo my registration and then I couldn't log in to check it back in. So I wasted about an hour of my time in office trying to fix the problem. Jennie was very nice and apologetic though.JoAnna R.

I had ordered two weeks in advanced a truck from budget . Two days before pick up day I get a email confirming that my truck is ready for pick up . I arrive in mobile ala ( big freaking city ) go to said pick and no truck . As a matter of fact they have no idea what or where my truck is . So to help me out they found another one ....75 miles away ?? . Now I'm panicking cause I got movers on the way and no truck and a even smaller time frame to have my daughter moved out of her apartment and back home some 300 plus miles away . I contacted uhaul and you guys where a huge blessing . Found me a truck in about 15 mins only about 25 mins away and even thou it was larger than what I needed I was not charged extra . Everyone I dealt with on the phone and especially the young lady who helped me at the pick up were exceptional helpful and courteous. Thank you uhaul for saving my day . Would have been nice if the windshield was clean. It was dirty and covered with bug splatters that the windshield wipers could not remove. Otherwise, the truck was clean. What you may perceive as economy measures, manual windows and locks constitute safety hazards. The cab of my 10' rental truck was too wide to reach across to lock / unlock or roll window up / down. Also, the truck did not have cruise control. I found myself constantly having to glance down to check my speed. Difficulty in maintaining a safe speed is exacerbated when one is not familiar with the vehicle. We reserved the truck 10 days before the day we needed it. The day before we were to pick the truck up, we were called and informed that that location did not have the truck we reserved and said that we could either have a bigger truck (which I did not want to drive), or we could drive 20 miles to another location to get the truck we reserved. Of course, there was no guarantee that they would not rent it to someone else in the meantime. Neither was there an offer to deliver the truck to the location closer to our home. When we arrived, we were informed that the truck was at yet another location two miles down the road. The day before a move, we certainly did not have the time to chase all over the county to rent a truck. I must say that the folks at both pick up locations were some of the nicest, most courteous and helpful people one could have the pleasure to meet. Drop off was also a quick and easy process.A.J. B.
