An older man in the store was extremely rude when we confronted him about an issue that came up during our mobile pickup. A younger man was very helpful and worked with uhaul over the phone to reassign us a truck after someone left with our truck that was assigned to us.Norman L.
Please make sure that the trailer is hookup accurately and the brakes are functioning. The trailer was hooked up to a 2021 F150 with towing package on a 20 inch height hitch when a drop to 18 inch needed to be done. When asked, the guys at the U-Haul said it was OK. Not true. The trailer bucked when braking, the guys said that was OK. Not. For anyone who has done towing, you know how import hitch height and braking is. I had to get a drop and correct the issue before we drove for 400+ miles. It fixed the bucking. While driving downhill, we experienced major sway. The trailer was loaded right. The brakes were not working accurately. It felt like one side was not kicking in at the same time as the other. We ended up having to take backroads and more time to make the trip. Next time I see a person driving a U-Haul, I am going to pray for them.Elizabeth M.

The hitch connection for the ball is too loose and it is not adjustable. U Haul should go back to an adjustable hitch that can be tightened which will reduce the clatter when towing a trailer.Keith A.

I got in the truck and the check engine light was on. Given that I was going to load this truck with my stuff and drive a couple hours obviously I wanted to feel secure in the truck so I asked for another one and they kind of acted like "oh it just does that" I had to basically insist on another truck and the guy literally went with me to make sure it didn't also have a check engine light on.Samantha W.

I rented a U-Haul on February 10. I also rented two dollies and blankets but I'll pick the truck up early and the dollies and blankets were in there. So when I took The truck bag I spoke to the guy that runs cc tool rental and he said he forgot. So I got an invoice from U-Haul a few days later and those items were on there. I immediately sent a dispute to have been taken off I wasn't gonna pay the rental bill until that was taken care of. I have never heard back from anyone about this in my card was charged with the amount the other day and he yes I would really like to haveand the difference refund it back to my carChester P.

I was charged for 1/2 dozen furniture mats I never received. I also slipped and fell on their lot when trying to check trailer before pulling out. I don't blame them for this because snow and ice are expected but it didn't make the experience any better once I was charged the extra amount.Thomas J.

Engine light was constantly on, the low tire indicator was malfunctioning, the windshield was filthy on the inside and the drivers side door kept coming open.Paul R.
I had the truck for 4 to 5 hours and was billed for two days. Kyle said he was unsure when I returned it because they are closed Sunday even though I did a mobile check-in. I had to call and ask for a refund. Waiting on that to show on my credit card.William L.

Stress the online check-in. We got the email offer but decided to wait till we got to the store. Big mistake. This store is very busy and the guy running the counter is extremely slow. It seemed he might be new to the job. If so, we understand and maybe the next time he will be faster. Very friendly, just slow.Stephen M.

Wouldn't have been such a issue if we were able to pickup at same location. Ratchets for dolly were a bit rusted and very hard to use. We got charged extra because we went over 6 miles although that should get deducted because after we got the truck we had to drive another 13 miles just to get the dolley. We have used uhaul in the past but this last time was definitely unsatisfactory.Maureen B.

The young man said the Computer kept freezing up and I believe that was true. Uhaul tried to charge me twice $1086 the truck was junk wouldn't climb hills. I was a CDL driver so I know junk that will climb hills. Then you sent me a text to drop it off at a place that was closed and gated but I passed two places that had U Haulâ€˜s that were open. Then you charged me another $54 for gas after I put gas in it. You are a horrible company I have told everybody I know don't ever use Uhaul. The young man at the pick up location didn't even give me a pamphlet or anything I had to ask for a receipt which he wrote out himself. If I would have broke down I would have been setting on the side of the road a 61-year-old woman towing a car with a tow dolly and my 22 pound dog. I had no numbers to call can't talk to a live person I was on hold for an hour two actually speak to a live person to tell them that I had to drop the trailer and the dolly off at a location where anyone could have stolen the truck and the dolly. You're a horrible company you won't put this out there because you're a horrible company this review will never see the light of day you're horrible. I made sure that I told all utility companies in Ohio notTo use you I also told everybody in Florida not to use you. I ordered a 15 foot truck two weeks in advance got a 20 foot truck tow dolly hooked up wrong etc. you're a horrible companyJEWELL H.
Upon arrival, we were told the 15' truck we had reserved online had not been returned from the previous renter still. There was a 20' truck sitting on the street but was told only the 26' trucks were available. This was our only option because we didn't have time to find another truck before everywhere closed on a Saturday. We didn't feel comfortable with such a big truck, they did give us that truck for the same price as the truck we wanted but it was definitely a struggle.Rob P.

This is my second time to get a uhaul from this location and each time it was the same one each time had body odor smell it also was really dirty I had to wait for them to clean and disinfect which I don't think they are doing as required.CLIFFORD J.

Have the employees turn the Open sign on when they Open,also I was asked to tow a Trailer to the drop off in Chillicothe,which I did and was told I would receive compensation of $50 dollars off of my bill,also was supposed to get 100 miles free,was told that I only had 84 miles free and charged .Randy C.
