The reservation system is barely functional at best, and it is nearly impossible to talk to a real person on the phone. Also the please hold music was so abrasive that it honestly felt like psychological warfare.Daniel T.
I had requested a furniture dolly, box mover, and furniture pads, none of which were in the truck.Luke P.
I had reserved a truck and two furniture dollies. When I got there, there was only dolly which didn't work because we were moving a piano. After asking they found one at a different location that I had to go pick up. I had to request to get miles off my rental. Then when I got to the truck the gas was on empty. So my pick up took at least twice as long as it needed to. There was a very kind employee who helped me get the truck out of the parking lot. Because like he described it was in the hardest parking spot. Even though there were at least five other trucks there the same size. Then I was quoted a large about of gas reimbursement over the phone since the same was longer then they told me it was. Of course when I got there they told me that wasn't the case (I had already filled the truck). After lots of discussion i did get my truck at a good rate but if I wouldn't have fought for it I would have paid a crazy amount for a terrible experience that took way way longer then it should have.MORGAN MARY L.

The staff had a hard time finding a dolly for me, they said they didn't have any. I very nice lady asked what we were moving and when I told her appliances, she offered to go out in the heat and look through the trucks to find me one, and she did. I appreciated that so muchKAYLA ALBERTA-MI W.
you need to figure out a way to balance demand and reservations. The truck i reserved a month before the scheduled date (this past Saturday) was not available and the store had no other options. The $50 credit was good but does not help me be able to move my stuff on the day that i have people available to assist.DOREEN JOY M.

Get the truck checked out. The brakes pulsed whenever I brake. Also, had to slam the door to get the rubber seals to connect. Very scary driving on the fwy! Lots of rusted parts on the truck. Couldn't adjust the mirrors at all. The steering column made the most groaning, creaking noise simply turning the wheel! Finally the engine seemed to struggle to start a couple times.Lena H.

I rented a 15' truck on 5/26/21. The truck was returned the same day at the U-Haul store where it was inspected in person and I was asked to make the payment which I did. I then received another email on 6/1/21 saying I have to make a payment for a rental on 6/1/2021, which I never rented! I was also asked to pay for damages for this rental. I opened an online dispute on this and also emailed UHaul credit collection regarding this issue. I received a voicemail from Tre Redmond a few days ago saying this was an error and it will be fixed. I'm sorry but I am not satisfied with this explanation and that too over voicemail. I was under stress for 3-4 days. I need a better explanation. I reached out to U haul credit collection again via email asking for a better explanation in written form. It has been 4 days now and I have not heard back from them. This is the worst experience one can have. I had better expectations from a company like UHaul.MARJAN H.

They had the wrong mileage for gas when I started and a low tire? When I showed your employee he agreed. Then they over charged me for not putting gas back at return? So I don't know what Systums they use for that so I'm paying again for them not reading the gas right? Never will I be treated like that again after that.
