Be more specific on where to drop off truck after rental. No idea where to park the truck to be checked in caused unneeded stress. No one available in lobby for 15+ minutes. Left truck where I thought would be appropriate. Check in person appeared out of nowhere and was troubled to assist — demanded I bring the truck to him/check in lane. Didn’t know there was a check in lane. The down pouring Rain didn’t help matters.

I got charged a sweeping fee when I personally cleaned the trailer myself and it was clean when I left it... I believe they are just trying to make money off me and I don’t like it and will call and complain this morning. Abusing the charges cause it was returned after they closed. Never use this location again.

First it took 2hrs for customer service to talk to me to reserve a truck (the staff is special ed). I put ALL THE GAS back in the truck up the street at Cumberland farms and was charged for extra miles. I went to the truck return before 7pm the door was locked. NOW your taking my WHOLE deposit. LIARS, AND THEVIES!!!!! I NEVER USED this COMPANY before and now I NEVER WILL AGAIN!!!!! I RATHER MOVE ON A HORSE AND CARRIAGE THEN F$@K WITH UHAUL. I WISH I KNEW AHEAD OF TIME, I WAS STRAIGHT ROBBED!!!!! I WON'T EVER RECOMMEND UHAUL EVEN IF MY WORST ENEMY NEEDS HELP. ????????????????????????????

Please be advised that your return rental vehicle better be close to spotless or you will be assessed a cleaning charge, especially for one way rentals which franchise agencies hate. Forget the reasonable removal of all garbage, litter, and other raised debris....Bring a push broom with you to sweep dust out of the cargo hold area, otherwise you will be charged. Also, remove all dirt from the foot mats....normal dirt on them(not construction site dirt, mind you!) will also get you a charge. My return vehicle was checked, and the attendant never told me there would be a "cleaning charge"....I found after, when I received my e mail receipt that I was charged for cleaning. I could have been told at that time and given the opportunity to clean the truck myself, however, I don't travel with a push broom, or a rag and soap bucket for cleaning mats. I called the agency and spoke with the attendant. I wanted to give the business the chance to be fair about charging me, but I was told that I was contractually bound to clean the truck. Feels like a "racket" to me. I'm tired of saying "ok" and eating it!!! I'll be calling my credit card company to deny the charge of an invoice I never signed or saw until I received it in my email after leaving the agency.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND EMPLOYEES FRIENDLY AND FUN TO DEAL WITH. THIS IS A LARGE RENTAL OFFICE AND VERY BUSY BUT THINGS WENT SMOOTHLY AND NOT RUSHED. i HAD A RESERVATION AT AN OFFICE CLOSER TO ME THAT I'VE USED SEVERAL TIMES BUT THE NIGHT BEFORE MY SCHEDULED PICKUP I RECEIVED A 6PM PHONE CALL FROM A "TRAFFIC REP" INFORMING ME MY RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED, NOT OFFERING A VERY CLEAR EXPLANATION AS TO WHY AND DID NOT OFFER TO HELP FIND ME ANOTHER TRUCK AROUND THE AREA. THE TRAFFIC REP SAID IN A NOT SO POLITE TONE THAT I MIGHT TRY ''BUDGET OR PENSKE''. THAT REALLY SURPRISED THE HELL OUT OF ME SUGGESTING A COMPETITOR. I IMMEDIATELY CHECKED MY UHAUL ACCT. AND IT NOW SHOWED THE RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED. i THEN CALLED RESERVATIONS AND SPOKE WITH A DELIGHTFUL UHAUL REP IN TENNESSEE WHO IMMEDIATELY FOUND ME A COMPARABLE TRUCK AVAILABLE AT ANOTHER LOCATION IN SPRINGFIELD MA ONLY A BIT FARTHER IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE PREVIOUS RENTAL OFFICE.

Long line. Booked a 10 foot over a month ago but was given a 15 foot way too big. Mng gave the AME price thank you but still too big. Needed to drop in Brooklyn had the exact address yet they booked a Manhattan drop? Brooklyn people were great they made room to take the truck they saved the day W Springfield did not honor any of the commitments

Very happy with the rental not so happy with the price. I was locked into a 8 day rents because I was traveling across the country. Instead of being able to pick how many days. Seemed a little expensive for a rate also compared to the standard rate.

The location has a manager who is beyond unfriendly. He lacked people skills and communication skills. I had a minor problem with my rental in which I thought was resolved the night before. Only to wake up and find out I was overcharged. When I contacted the manager he had little to nothing to say to me. He was not polite nor courteous. I found him rude and did little or nothing to help me or rectify the situation.

I made a reservation for 9/1 at 9 am. Somehow, the reservation was changed to 11 am. When I arrived, I was informed there were no trucks available. The employee, who was very nice and courteous, agreed to call me as soon as a truck was available I had a reservation for a 10 foot truck, but only a 15 foot was available, which was more expensive, and I had to take that as I had no other choice. I think uhaul should have honored the rates on my reservation, as it was not my fault that the reservation was accepted and a 10 foot truck was not available aside from that, my reservation was for 4 hours. I received a call from another employee at that location asking when I was returning the truck more than 30 minutes before it was due back.

We got charged $7 for the utility dolly we didn’t use the dolly there was no tag when we got the truck then the first time we rented a uhaul you guys got the mileage wrong so we had to pay $100 for no reason. We would like a refund for the dolly we didn’t even use we went gonna pay $7 for nothing.

The girl renting was great I didn’t see the gas gauge was off because I was more concerned with all the unmarked damage to the truck When I left I took a picture of the mileage and correct reading when I returned it the person checking it in had an additude and told me to bad when I went to talk to the manager he made me wait 15 min while I watched him through the door window install a hitch He was not concerned with the poorly checked unit and incorrectly checked in the fuel level to decisive the next customer the blankets are deceiving too when you can’t read the fine print of daily rental not to mention the girl said if I don’t open the bag they won’t charge me the check in guy said to bad you took them you pay

Found an empty orange juice container in the back of the UHaul when I picked up. The truck did not handle well. It felt like the alignment was off and the transmission was slipping. The staff was very nice and helpful from pick up to drop off.
