Please note that the below average overall experience was a negative one, but this was not due to the 110 E Columbus Dr location which was positive. My issue was with the 509 W Columbus Dr location. I booked a van at this location only to find that they did not have the vehicle that I booked. Then to add insult to injury I was told that I would need to call U-Haul to resolve and sort out where to obtain from another location. This I feel is poor customer service if this is normal steps to resolve an issue caused by U-Haul, surely the person representing should be the one calling to resolve. I was told to go to the 110 E Columbus location which was overall positive.

Rosa is in charge of this location. I was able to call her and explain that I was running a little late and she was completely understandable about the situation. She then proceeded to answer any and all questions we had, and even backed up the 15 foot box truck to hook up the trailer. She walked us through on how the vehicle trailer worked, how to properly use the straps and chains. The experience with her was outstanding and I would gladly work with her again.
Kavanagh BI was overcharged. Received the car on E, it smelt like weed. There was no associate there to meet me when I got the car, no associate there when I dropped off the car. Then they tried to blame me for not bringing the car on full. I had to remind her that I took a video of everything when I first got the car because I couldn’t believe the magnitude of how much my life was at risk because of the tire pressure and the maintenance needed to be done on the car. It was on when I got it. The lady didn’t want to acknowledge it and she ignored me and got mad when I , tried to confirm that I wasn’t going to be charged for. She charged me a dollar per mile instead of $.86 per mile. I will be getting a refund.
