Dom and Ed were so wonderful! Our original pick-up location was Norwalk and I was distressed when we had to go to Stamford. Dom offered to stay open late for me or have Ed meet me early the next day to facilitate our tight time frame. Equipment was new and clean. Can't say enough thank-yous!!

While this location was convenient for me and had a zillion uhauls on property, the office was absolutely disgusting! I never got into the office- I only saw it through a window. I returned the truck in the middle of the day and there was no one there, but there was a cell number to call on the door.... no answer and the mailbox was full. I dropped the keys in the box and had to follow up twice for a receipt. The man that answered the first time seemed annoyed that I was bothering him, however the next day the woman I talked to was kind and helpful.

My experience was awful. I had to move, and had hired people for my move for a specific day, so I reserved a 26' truck. To my surprise, the truck was not available when I showed up at 8am for pickup. The manager didn't care. Not only the truck was not available, but they didn't have a 20' either, so I ended up forced to rent 2 trucks instead (17' and 15') and had to pay double the mileage than if I had rented just the 26' truck. Be aware that your reservation doesn't have any value.

I called three times asking for a verbal confirmation. They never called back, however I took the chance and drove the 40 minutes to get to the location and the trailer was there and everything went smoothly.

I called your Stamford Ct Largo Street office and reserved a 20 foot truck on 7-5-2017 for pickup 7-8-2017 at 12:30 for a one way trip to Downingtown, PA. The reservation was made with a woman I believe named Cheryl. We drove up from PA and when we arrived at the office Eddie told me that we did not have a reservation and there was not a 20 foot truck available. After much time wasted Eddie was able to arrange two 15 foot trucks in place of the truck reserved. Eddie was very pleasant to work with and very thorough. This did however result in much wasted time, extra expense for insurance, gas, taxes and tolls. One truck was returned with a 1/4 tank more gas then required but the receiving location said you do not compensate for the extra gas. A very bad experience.

Picking up the truck in Stamford was very inconvenient. I live near 3 U-Haul locations in Bridgeport & reserved the truck well in advance. Traffic to & from Stamford in rush hour traffic after work was very heavy.

Ordered a 15' uhaul online and a mattress protector. When I get to the facility, I was told I was upgraded to.a 26' truck without my knowledge. In addition, they were out of the mattress protector that I paid for online. I never received my money back for it when the guy claimed I would.

I received the truck I scheduled two hours late. The location is filthy. No customer service etiquette and poor management. I received no apologies for my inconvenience and no discount for my wasted time. Will NOT be using Uhaul ever again and will not recommend to anyone either.

The lady at the desk was very quick, helpful and efficient, and of course very nice and professional. I had to book AFTER the last minute (Penske cancelled on me) and it was NO problem and she helped set up the next one too when I was on the phone. Good pricing, a bit too bad that I couldn't take it for more than a certain amount of time, but it does the job! Thank you!! Only reason for 'above average', is the office was out dated and messy, I don't mind one bit since the customer service was EXCELLENT!
