I hope all the locations have the same customer service because the one in Sherwood where normally go this time the service what bad really bad specially with 2 of the girls or women's work there they mean rude and trying to make me cancel my reservation just because they don't have the equipment in that location.

One of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had just trying to rent a truck. Only employee inside didn't have a mask on, had a line out the door with people and said “my break isn't over” and continued to play on his phone for 6 more minutes. The whole place is disgusting. No one did a walk around or handed out any information on there process and how the vehicle should be returned after hours. I had one employee telling me I can return by 7pm the next day without any issues. Just to receive a text at 6am that if it isn't returned in 2 hours we will be charged a extra day. Woke my wife and kids up and hauled over there and when it was returned they took a additional hour to go into there system to say I returned it. They tried to charge me $178 for having it for 2 days. No one knows what they are doing I will 1000% never come back to uhaul to do any type of business. Literally the worse experience I've ever had with any type of company.


The truck had a huge puddle of standing water in it. I was handed the key and told to go get it and not advised of anything. Poor customer service!! This was my first and my last time using uhaul!! Such a terrible experience!!

There was a discrepancy with the mileage. Cody quickly and professionally made it right. Now worries, no hassle! Being able to check out and back in on the phone is a major plus!

I had a complaint about my charges and received no response to my complaint. No one reached out to make it right and I was charged extra when I was specifically told by the worker at Uhaul that I would not be charged extra.

The trailer I ended up getting was disgusting on the out side. Other then that it was good. This was the second location I went to. At first I went online and reserved a trailer at a locating in junction city it said that they had the 5x10 that I was wanting but then when I got there I was told that they never have trailers there. Never was notified about anything as I made the reservation for 30 minutes after I made the reservation. Was very dissatisfied with that and nothing was done to fix that

I am always pleased with the service here. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rental process is smooth.


The truck (plate: AD78261) I used was not ideal to drive. This particular truck would not be good to give to a first time driver or one whom is experienced. I could easily over steer the whole time — the slightest move your hand on the wheel would make the truck shift in that direction. Also, the front end felt like it was floating. Other then that everything was great!

I rented a tow dolly on Saturday morning 12. Do you do a death in the family I was unable to use it for my scheduled trip. I returned it on the 15th a Tuesday. The employee at the U-Haul told me their computer system was down. He told me his manager would take care of the sign in and the rebate refund Wednesday morning. I come to find out that never took place and I have information that the tow dolly was actually returned today the 21st I need to get this problem resolved please

You can explain the actual terms of the contract to the person picking up the truck! I reserved a truck online and when my husband came to pick it up, your rental desk person simply handed him what they called a 'receipt' and sent him on his way. He did not sign anything. He noted it was weird that the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas but didn't think much of it since we were only driving a short trip in town. After we returned the truck, (ahead of schedule), the charges added to the bill were outrageous! $45.30 for 1/16th tank of gas!! In the middle of a pandemic when you know that people are trying not to interact with too many other people and aren't keen on touching items that others have touched, (hence we used the online reservation system), you're taking advantage of customers. He knew we'd be charged a little for the gas replacement but $45.30 for 1/6th tank is ridiculous. I called to talk with the desk but they stated that they have an 'extra $30 service fee' they added on. I asked why my husband wasn't informed and they said that it was in the contract. I stated that it most definitely was not in the online contract for reservation I completed and they agreed and explained that it was in the paper copy my husband was handed in the store. I said he was told he was just being handed a receipt and that if the terms had changed from the online agreement, he should have been informed of that (and legally, he should have signed something agreeing to the changes in terms from original contract for services). The person responded that they don't have to because that's 'how it's always been at U-Haul'. First of all- yes, you do have to inform a customer of changes to a contract. Online reservation is the start of the contract and you do have to disclose any and all anticipated fees. That would be like if I ordered socks from Target for $9.99 and then they delivered them and charged me an additional $5 for 'Delivery on a Tuesday' or something like that. You can't do that. Secondly, you AT LEAST need to verbally inform a customer of your fuel policy. We've rented from other companies before and everyone has their own way of doing it and your front desk should have said something about your policy. Lastly, your contract has a space for a signature from the person picking it up. My husband didn't sign it because he was told it was simply a 'receipt' for the online reservation. This is a clear attempt by your front desk staff to conceal the additional charges. I will be disputing this claim with my credit card company and emailing and calling your higher management with my complaints. We have never had an issue like this with other companies and will never use U-Haul again!

was supposed to receive a discount due to inventory issues at the Sandy/Portland Location. Brad informed me my rental would be $173.00. When I paid, my rental fee did not include the agreed upon discount price. I paid $243.00. Extremely unhappy that I did not receive agreed upon rental fee. Need to be able to get refund for difference in agreed upon rental fee.

This U-Haul was efficiently run. No improvements necessary.


Not charge them for 4 days of usage with no exchange to any bit of refund when the trip is less than a day long & all equipment is returned 2.5 days early.
