First we had a reservation for thenFenton store and the truck broke down so were moved to this location. They lowered our rate, which was appreciated. We arrived for our 9am reservation and the truck wasn't back. Once it finally arrived we had to do the no contact registration. This took over 30 min. It was extremely frustrating. We didn't pull out of the lot until 10:40. Then when I got my receipt we were charged for a utility dolly, but we never had one. Only the appliance dolly.

When I arrived for my scheduled truck, the person running the operation wasn't on site when I arrived. I would not use this location again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use it. When the individual running the operation arrived, 45 minutes after scheduled, he wasn't even helpful. Something to improve on would he customer service and the overall operation.
Website said I could get the truck an hr earlier than my appt time. Nope!!! App didn't give me key code to unlock keys. Had to call 800 number and local number to retrieve key code. Will not be back.
Truck was very rough on highway. Think it needs some attention to suspension. Only had 71000 miles. Truck was clean both cab and cargo area.
Person behind the counter asked if it 'lived on the street', when I questioned the need for me to park the vehicle. It was large and there wasnt much room for turning so I had told him I didnt feel comfortable. I ended up parking it myself.
I am extremely disappointed that U-Haul is not capable of updating their online site to reflect available rentals at each rental location. I rented a specific size truck at a location that is close to my home and the area where I needed the truck. The online site told me this size truck was available at the nearby location I chose. I later received a text telling me that this information was incorrect and that I had to rent a truck from a location that added nearly 20 extra miles to my rental. Of course, U-Haul would not give me a discount on the mileage rate for this added cost and inconvenience I had to incur. RENTER BEWARE WHEN RENTING FRON U-HAUL!!!!!!!!!
If we reserve a truck, we were told that we may not be able to pick it up at the location we reserved it at. Me may have to go further away to get it. I did not like that. If I â€˜reserve a truck at BB Station close to my home, then I should be able to count on picking it up close to my home. I almost changed companies because of that.

I completed the form online to make the reservation then i have give him the same information again over the phone. It just seemed a little sketchy. Then I was charged a 20 after hours fee. I returned the rental 2 hour early then my estimated ETA 5:00pm, around 3:00-3:15pm. The location is an BP gas station and I was never informed about what time is considered after hours. When I email the guy about it, he never responded. I know some how this guys was going screw me out of some extra money.
The person was not on site when I was scheduled to pick up. The truck was clean but the front wheels were out of alignment and the truck shook uncontrollably if I even approached the speed limit. This added hours onto a trip and made my drive of about 250 miles miserable.
My scheduled pickup was at 8 am...I was informed to call someone over and over until I get an answer. He finally called me back (about 8:30 and told me he wasn't open until 9am). Luckily I had provided all of my info to the website prior to this and he let me check out truck with lockbox. Requested 24 blankets...he only had 12. Truck can was dirty and sticky. Cargo sea was not swept out. Truck bounced at speeds above 45mph.

No one was there from Uhaul to facilitate rental. BP attendant was clueless and of no help. Had to call Uhaul office for assistance. Uhaul rep was extremely helpful and guided me through the process to get my rental. Will use Crestwood location for all future rentals.
Had to talk to a guy by phone and he was not even there. I would rather speak to a person at the counter of the store where i rented the truck.
They put the wrong key in my lock box that turned out to be a bigger truck. I called and said the mileage didn't match what it was suppose to the owner said I was wrong. As I was in the process of moving he called and said I had a bigger truck. I told him there was only one key so I used the truck it went in. I had hired movers to help so I d didn't have time to unload and start all over. He charged me for his mistake and also charged me for a dolly that wasn't used. I think he is a con artist. Thankfully I emailed Uhaul and they took care of the overages. I've never had a problem with Uhaul just this particular location was terrible.
The box truck was clean and accessing it through the U Haul rep was positive. However I was not told that I was to take a picture of the final mileage when I turned in the truck. This info should have been told to me when I picked up the truck and it was not. As a result, when I retuned with the mileage figure, a different rep told me I should have taken a pic of the after-trip mileage and said he would take care of it and send me an e-mail with the final charge. This all happend yesterday and I have been looking for the e-mail which has not arrived as of 12:48 pm today.

The customer service received by Simko BP was outstanding. Have rented at this location twice and would highly recommend.
2nd time dropping a trailer off here. I had to unhook myself
I was told I would be swapping trucks at no cost to me. I got to this location and they told me all they could do was return the truck and charge me for another, meaning I was out all the money I had set aside for gas and hotels. The truck also hasn't been cleaned, it's sticky inside. And now on top of that you want to charge me for the gas used to return the truck that you guys talked me into that wasn't up to par, and gave me one with an engine light on that's disgusting. So after 6 hours of hassle and running around I'm out almost $5000 instead of the agreed $2000, and everyone is telling me different things and not able to figure it out.
Used the app to pick up my truck. When I got there, the key box had several keys in it but not the key to my truck. Contacted Uhaul and while I was waiting, the attendant at the gas station came out and immediately started yelling about us "taking the keys." Tried to explain that the key we needed was not in the box. After yelling more and telling us that he could not help us, he went back into the BP. He returned a few minutes later with the key that we had been looking for for 30 minutes. I will never use this location again.
Why did it take 5 days to process my rental? They put a hold on money the same day I rented, then processed the actual charge 5 days later.
