The vendor who handled the rental was terrible. He didn't give me the furniture pads and dollys requested. When I called him, he wanted me to drive the truck back over to pick them up. I got and paid for an appliance dolly. He tried to give me the smaller dolly. It was a one way rental. I asked him to give me the drop off location and he told me he couldn't do that and gave me a phone number. When I called the number to get the drop off location, the place was closed. I called the vendor for help, he texted me that he couldn't talk to me and told me to google it and just drop the truck off somewhere. I spent 40 mins on hold with 800GoUhaul. I finally got ahold of someone, Rhonda, who was outstanding. I cannot say how much I appreciated Rhonda and her help. She was a great representative of your company. This vendor is NOT. He almost turned me completely off of using UHaul in the future.

First we had a reservation for thenFenton store and the truck broke down so were moved to this location. They lowered our rate, which was appreciated. We arrived for our 9am reservation and the truck wasn't back. Once it finally arrived we had to do the no contact registration. This took over 30 min. It was extremely frustrating. We didn't pull out of the lot until 10:40. Then when I got my receipt we were charged for a utility dolly, but we never had one. Only the appliance dolly.

When I arrived for my scheduled truck, the person running the operation wasn't on site when I arrived. I would not use this location again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use it. When the individual running the operation arrived, 45 minutes after scheduled, he wasn't even helpful. Something to improve on would he customer service and the overall operation.

Person behind the counter asked if it 'lived on the street', when I questioned the need for me to park the vehicle. It was large and there wasnt much room for turning so I had told him I didnt feel comfortable. I ended up parking it myself.

I am extremely disappointed that U-Haul is not capable of updating their online site to reflect available rentals at each rental location. I rented a specific size truck at a location that is close to my home and the area where I needed the truck. The online site told me this size truck was available at the nearby location I chose. I later received a text telling me that this information was incorrect and that I had to rent a truck from a location that added nearly 20 extra miles to my rental. Of course, U-Haul would not give me a discount on the mileage rate for this added cost and inconvenience I had to incur. RENTER BEWARE WHEN RENTING FRON U-HAUL!!!!!!!!!

If we reserve a truck, we were told that we may not be able to pick it up at the location we reserved it at. Me may have to go further away to get it. I did not like that. If I ‘reserve a truck at BB Station close to my home, then I should be able to count on picking it up close to my home. I almost changed companies because of that.

I completed the form online to make the reservation then i have give him the same information again over the phone. It just seemed a little sketchy. Then I was charged a 20 after hours fee. I returned the rental 2 hour early then my estimated ETA 5:00pm, around 3:00-3:15pm. The location is an BP gas station and I was never informed about what time is considered after hours. When I email the guy about it, he never responded. I know some how this guys was going screw me out of some extra money.

The person was not on site when I was scheduled to pick up. The truck was clean but the front wheels were out of alignment and the truck shook uncontrollably if I even approached the speed limit. This added hours onto a trip and made my drive of about 250 miles miserable.

My scheduled pickup was at 8 am...I was informed to call someone over and over until I get an answer. He finally called me back (about 8:30 and told me he wasn't open until 9am). Luckily I had provided all of my info to the website prior to this and he let me check out truck with lockbox. Requested 24 blankets...he only had 12. Truck can was dirty and sticky. Cargo sea was not swept out. Truck bounced at speeds above 45mph.

No one was there from Uhaul to facilitate rental. BP attendant was clueless and of no help. Had to call Uhaul office for assistance. Uhaul rep was extremely helpful and guided me through the process to get my rental. Will use Crestwood location for all future rentals.

They put the wrong key in my lock box that turned out to be a bigger truck. I called and said the mileage didn't match what it was suppose to the owner said I was wrong. As I was in the process of moving he called and said I had a bigger truck. I told him there was only one key so I used the truck it went in. I had hired movers to help so I d didn't have time to unload and start all over. He charged me for his mistake and also charged me for a dolly that wasn't used. I think he is a con artist. Thankfully I emailed Uhaul and they took care of the overages. I've never had a problem with Uhaul just this particular location was terrible.

The box truck was clean and accessing it through the U Haul rep was positive. However I was not told that I was to take a picture of the final mileage when I turned in the truck. This info should have been told to me when I picked up the truck and it was not. As a result, when I retuned with the mileage figure, a different rep told me I should have taken a pic of the after-trip mileage and said he would take care of it and send me an e-mail with the final charge. This all happend yesterday and I have been looking for the e-mail which has not arrived as of 12:48 pm today.

I was told I would be swapping trucks at no cost to me. I got to this location and they told me all they could do was return the truck and charge me for another, meaning I was out all the money I had set aside for gas and hotels. The truck also hasn't been cleaned, it's sticky inside. And now on top of that you want to charge me for the gas used to return the truck that you guys talked me into that wasn't up to par, and gave me one with an engine light on that's disgusting. So after 6 hours of hassle and running around I'm out almost $5000 instead of the agreed $2000, and everyone is telling me different things and not able to figure it out.

Used the app to pick up my truck. When I got there, the key box had several keys in it but not the key to my truck. Contacted Uhaul and while I was waiting, the attendant at the gas station came out and immediately started yelling about us "taking the keys." Tried to explain that the key we needed was not in the box. After yelling more and telling us that he could not help us, he went back into the BP. He returned a few minutes later with the key that we had been looking for for 30 minutes. I will never use this location again.

There was a little confusing prior to pickup which caused some nerves, but everything turned out great. I wasn't able to contact Uhaul directly because they had phone issues and would hang up on me.

Process was pretty easy, owner had dolly and blankets ready and transaction was quick. Return was painless. Office was part of an active gas station so it was a little difficult to help me while also helping the people coming/going for gas and snacks. Overall a good experience.

I am concerned about the sanitation of your vehicles. Although clean when I left it I had to report if it was clean enough to be used by the next rental. This makes me assume there is no sanitizing between customers.

Basically a gas station that rents trucks. The gas station attendant was the one who helped me. That was fine, but didn't seem professional. Just dropped off there. But not sure if I would rent from there.

The guy was rude. He expected me to send the info mileage etc to the guy I rented from. He never checked the mileage or gas guage. He was pathetic. What a poor representitive of uhaul. I also called the district manager Seth who is the district manager for uhaul where I picked the truck up and he was as bad or worse than the guy I dropped the truck at. Absolutely no help and truly had a no give a damn attitude. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE in the end of service.

The pick up process is ridiculous. We were sitting around for awhile when my "secondary contact" was called. This is something I feel should be handled way before pickup time. Also, this location doesnt have an unlocked drop box for returning the key when finished with the rental, so I had to wait on hold for 15 minutes to speak with a uhaul rep, to find out I just give the key to the gas station attendant? Definitely room for improvement here.

U-Haul customer service sucks! I mean, you guys really suck! The man at the BP where I rented from was very nice, but U-Haul sucks! I get overcharged $10.00 and you make me jump through hoops to get it back! There's a principle here. Why can't you just refund the overcharge?

I paid for my reservation that I had 2 weeks before it was supposed to have a Dolly they couldn't release the keys to me until the owner got there and then I realized without open the back door the Dali was not there so now they are trying to stick me with a $86 fee for a Dolly that the owner said he would personally take off and never did. Never ever in my lifetime will I use you haul again.

The truck was clean enough, but there was some trash in the cab. A few important issues came up: 1) The BP employee was unhelpful and unpleasant. He would only tell me to "call the number" he wrote down and handed me. Nothing else. It would have helped if he would have taken a minute or two to explain that I would be using the online check-out process to get the vehicle. 2) The truck was not parked where it was supposed to be. 3) The keys were in the wrong lockbox. 4) I spoke with customer service at least six times before finally completing the pick up. The online check-in process is a poor substitute to face-to-face interaction. I will probably look elsewhere before coming back to Uhaul.

I would like to note that my rating is strictly due to the customer service at the location and has nothing to do with UHaul. The folks at UHaul were incredibly helpful. Do not rent from this location! Terrible customer service. I arrived at 7:55 for a 8:00 rental. The clerk told me that he does not help with UHaul rentals and I had to wait until the person that handles them arrives at 9:00. Rent from the location further South on Tesson Ferry. It's worth the extra few miles. I rented from there last time. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would.

The bed had a bulge in it but did not affect the structural integrity. The lighting cord had no extension that other trailers had in the past. Only extended about an inch from the tongue. Worked for us since our lighting wiring could extend to meet it.

Think this operator was new! Late on arrival,l starting time of 9am was late, didn't get there to a bit later.Then It took what seems like quite a bit of time to get the system up( most customers want to start earlier say 8am at the latest) there were two other people waiting after me..Then had trouble getting the system up and running. Something happened to the printer, couldn't figure it out therefore I didn't get a printed receipt. I did get a email receipt after I turned in the vehicle. Think this operator just needs to clean up his operation, arrive earlier or at least on time and have everything up and ready to go.

That was the single worst uhaul experience of my life for many reasons. The app would not work. The invidual on site stated, "I don't work for uhaul, I can't help you.". The mileage was wrong on the truck and on the app. It took 1 and a half hour online to pick up the truck. It was another hour to drop it off. I had to make about 15 calls to customer service, and one individual from uhaul accused me of lying about the mileage. I will most likely never rent from Uhaul again.

Pick up of the vehicle was terrible due to lack of support on site and the truck that was assigned to me not being there. Online chat was below average as well as hey tried to substitute a much smaller truck than the one I ordered. Phone support in STL was good and got the problem solved.

The agent was not on site to give us keys to the Uhaul. The gas station attendant gave us his phone number to call and he was unresponsive. We basically were told "too bad so sad." Fortunately I was able to get a hold of a very helpful customer service rep who helped switch us over to share Uhaul so we could enter a code to pick up the keys. We won't be using this location ever again and definitely won't recommend to others.

Van wasn't clean and pick up process was very slow. Had to re-enter all my information before getting the keys. Then had to be approved which was very slow. Lost the code to return the keys, and couldnt find it on my rental info. Then when all said and done the price was higher than advertised. 30 free miles were advertised but not granted.
