No enough parking I have had (8) uhaul pods for 9 months. I rented 1 Way 26 foot truck. Steering at a stop would not turn. Brakes with the load was sketchy at best. With 177,000 miles on it waited almost an hour to checked out. Now I have 2 u-haul storage 10X15 That being said. Business severely under staffed. And each time I went in to a store it's a wait of 35 min to 1 hour to get out. Today I dropped my rental in Portland. The guy was so busy he couldn't even look at my truck. Said park it over there and I'll get to it later. Then you charged me $25.00 cleaning fee. I was out to 10 pm cleaning it last night. I don't appreciate you stealing money from me. I'm sure it's a commission type thingm I have given thousands to u-haul. No more. You got me for 25.00 but that will cost you thousands in revenue. Good bye Uhaul.

The lady that was working their was extremely rude to me and unhelpful. I was scheduled to have a cargo van pick up there and it wasn't, and she made me feel like I was a huge inconveience. She sent me to another location which was 10 miles away which added miles to my trip. And then the guy at the other location was rude as well... I won't be using UHAUL again, and will let everyone know not to use those locations. Luckily a lady helped me in the customer service and gave me a $10 credit which was nice, should have been more..

I think you were short handed. I felt sorry for your employee. Service is always excellent at this location. We have always been happy here.

update the padlocks used, because they were old, and rusty, and I had a very difficult time rotating the letters for the combination, and opening the lock itself once I had everything lined up. also, maybe some signs that say "after hours customer parking" or something, because I had no idea if my car was ok to leave in the lot, once I was able to retrieve the key for the truck.


Make the process faster. Maybe another employee. The guys did ok but needed more people to handle the process.


This is the 3rd time in 3 months that I have rented from Uhaul and they have not had the equipment available that I reserved online. They refuse to honor the $50 guarantee and I always end up spending more than I plan for different equipment.


Small entry and exit area. Hard to turn into off busy street.


Good experience. I struggled with the app when I returned the vehicle after hours but someone helped me check it back in next morning. Overall it was an easy rental that I was able to manage at the last minute, 30 minutes before closing time. Thank you!

The trailer wasn't hooked up and checked correctly so it came off down the road and damaged my car and I filed a claim with uhaul already.

Although the location was a bit cramped, the staff made up for the experience. Darion was extremely helpful, going out of his way to assure our load was securely in place, particularly when the store was busy. Very clean with social distancing and staff wearing masks appropriately.

Checkin person - wasn't attentive - stood at the counter for quite awhile before being waited on, he wasn't friendly or even customer service oriented. When I returned , no one came to greet me or even check me in, then I get an invoice for over $50 more than what I had paid. Not at all happy and don't want to use this location anymore!!

Completely lacking customer service. When I walked in one of the employees wasn't wearing a mask while working behind the counter. I mean come on, this is not the time for an employee to be acting like that. We are in a global pandemic. There was another employee behind the front counter as well who was masked. When I came back to drop off the U-Haul, the markings are very confusing as they've been painted over multiple times and the sign overhead indicates that there's two lanes with two arrows pointing down. I pulled into what I thought was the second lane behind a trailer but what I couldn't see was that there was an employee in front of the trailer trying to push it back to connect to another vehicle. I had to honk the horn so he wouldn't run into the U-Haul and then he proceeded to tell at me that I needed to back up which was nearly impossible as I'm not a professional truck driver and it was a very tight space. After a few more heated words I let him know I wasn't going to deal with it and I had to get back to work. It was just a very surprising experience on both pickup and drop off and I can't say I would recommend this location.

First make sure the truck is cleaned out on the inside it doesn't have a spilled soda and so the containers find the seat. second wipe off the dried blood off the driver's seat and the two drops on the passenger seat. (We thought it was chocolate at first). Second, you can't take people's word and/or pictures at certain angles and then rent the truck to people without checking it yourselves. Extremely unprofessional. The gas tank was not full, was 1/8 of a tank empty. Also there was no dolly in the back of the truck that I ordered. When checking out the truck on the app, I'd ask you if it's clean or dirty. Every time I'd hit dirty and take a picture and then try to go the next screen, it wouldn't let me, and say you need to upload the picture. Unfortunately there's no option up of the picture. We tried over and over and over. Your app does not work well and/or at all in some aspects. we had 8 hours of the truck and an 8-hour drive ahead of us to make our check-in time. So waiting for the U-Haul to open WAS NOT AN OPTION. I basically just had to click yes everything was great to get the truck. What a scam. In regards to the dolly, try moving at 250 lb safe without one. Not possible. So at 6:00 a.m. and not the best part of Portland, we had to scour all the other U-Haul trucks opening them up to find a dolly. there wasn't even a place to attach the dolly inside the truck, there are always is. It was fun cleaning up the dry blood and paying for the gas that was supposed to be in the truck.

I made a reservation through the app. Then I received a phone call from someone that informed me that they didn't have the trailer that I requested, but that they would change my pickup location to one that wasn't too far. When I showed up to get my trailer they informed me that they didn't have any trailers and that there was no reservation for me. They helped me figure out where my trailer was and it was at a location that was much further than I would have liked to travel. After driving 20 minutes, I arrive at the location that has my trailer and reservation. After they hooked up the trailer I noticed that there was a lot of bark dust and garbage in the trailer. Not a great experience

The 'self-check in' process was a very poor experience. It took 20 minutes once I finished submitting my information, and then I was required to go to the counter to pick up the key. The whole point was to avoid physical interaction but instead the process took 4x as long as if I had just gone directly to the counter. So disappointing.


This was the SECOND location I had to go to get my reservation. First, I went to my scheduled spot to get my reserved truck using the mobile app. I had confirmation emails from U-Haul that I could pick it up by 8am using the app. When I arrived on site, the app and website would NOT let me pick up my reservation saying that I had to return at 9am when they opened. When I did return at 9am, the truck I reserved was not yet returned so they had to refer me to the location on Sandy. My truck reeked of the smell of marijuana. Not surprised when I returned the truck to find someone that I think was an employee sitting outside the return area smoking a joint. I'm all for legalization, but this was highly unprofessional and concerning if I had been pulled over. If U-haul wasn't the only game in town, I would have rented a truck elsewhere.


There was a problem with the backdoor not taking the recommended lock: I had to return to the location and "prove" to the employee that the lock did not fit... he sold me a second type that did work. It cost me the purchase of a second lock, mileage, and gas to travel to and from to fix the problem. Not happy with that... But it was a mechanical issue not an employee issue.
