Staff was very friendly and well-prepared with our van rental. Everything was well explained and we were off within just a few minutes. Van was very clean and ready to use. Return was just as easy. Store was clean, well-displayed and full of moving and shipping supplies of all types.

There was a light weight 5' X 12' trailer that was being taken out of the fleet that looked to be older but in good shape. It is a great size for doing tree and brush clearing with the use of small pickups and SUVs. The savings is in the labor associated with not having to strip the branches of a tree as much or having to compress bulky light loads. Could not find another light weight at other Uhaul locations. Customer Service was great.

Biggest U-Haul site I've ever seen. Might tell next customer "You're the 1,000,000 customer" Everything is free!" Otherwise, everything went very well, very simple, and I am very satisfied. (maybe next time you might convince my kids to move the piano and let me stay home.)

Disappointing I needed a vehicle on short notice did the expedited booking the vehicle wasn’t ready and Nickle and dimed over necessary equipment that should have been supplied for the specific use of the vehicle and trailer . If renting for a motorcycle be aware that tye downs will need to be brought or you’ll have to pay the extra charge from U-Haul . left feeling wary of the overall experience

They tried to charge me $14.25 for a fuel charge even though I brought it back with more gas when I left. I had to have the owner credit me back the amount.

more help

On this particular occasion the uhaul computer system wan not properly working. I tried to reserve on line and kept receiving error messages. I called the toll free number and I was on hold long enough for me to drive to the location, which I did. Then I waited for 30 minutes in line to obtain the rental I tried to reserve on line. Many customers were upset but the staff was able to maintain their cool throughout the hectic scenario.

Where to start?: 1- called me to reschedule hitch installation when I was pulling into parking lot for my appointment. 2- after hitch was installed my power locks in my back 2 doors and trunk quit working. Took my car back and they swore they didn’t cause that. Also, unbeknownst to me until after my move they also caused my brake lights to not work. 3- called me the day before my move to tell me they didn’t have the size trailer I ordered, the 5x8. I was offered either the 4x8 or 6x12. I said I wasn’t comfortable with the 6x12 because it was a lot larger and 1000 lbs heavier which would cost me a lot more in gas money. All uhaul could do was offer me 6x12 or 4x8 and didn’t seem to care that I would not be able to fit all my stuff in 4x8 and the gas would cost a lot more to tow 6x12. Since I already had my move to Minnesota mapped out with nonrefundable reservations along the way, I didn’t have much of a choice and ended up taking the 4x8 and leaving a lot of my belongings at my mom’s. Also worth mentioning is that they called me the day before my move while I was at work, my last 12 hour hospital shift and could not leave my patients to go drive around to get and look at trailers. 4- the trailer they rented me had something electrically wrong with it. My car wouldn’t start after I stopped for gas in New Mexico and had to pay for a tow for my car and the trailer. At the Toyota dealership, with the trailer unhooked, they found nothing wrong with my car and it worked fine. In Texas, I pulled into the hotel, got my kids inside and went back out to move my car and it wouldn’t start again. I thought that I should unplug the trailer since that seemed to make my car work in New Mexico. When I went to unplug it closer to the trailer I received several strong electrical shocks. So I unplugged it from inside my trunk instead and then my car started and I parked my car and trailer. In the morning my car wouldn’t start again and I had to have it jump started. The trailer had drained/killed my car battery. I drove the rest of the way to Minnesota with the trailer unplugged and requiring jump starts every morning. I payed a cab company in witchita, Kansas to jump me and then bought myself jumper cables and relied on good samaratins for the rest of my trip. I also drove the whole time without break lights, unbeknownst to me at the time, with my two kids in the car, super f-ing dangerous! 5- once I got to Rochester, MN, I returned the trailer the next day and the man there was informed of all the happenings and said I should bring my car back in on Monday to have it checked again. (I had taken it back to the uhaul in Murrieta, CA after the hitch install and they swore they did nothing wrong.) On the following Monday I went back to uhaul in Rochester, MN and the mechanic there found that my break lights were not working. He figured out that during my hitch installation the guy removed a piece to a connection site, realized it wasn’t the right site, then conn

Liam and the crew were great for being a bit understaffed for the busy Sunday morning. Seems like this location has a bit of a spike in the mornings with drop offs and rentals, my suggestion would be to schedule staff for that.

I have no complaints regarding the equipment nor the appearance of this particular location. However, the reason I gave this location a "poor" rating is because when I made the equipment reservation via phone, I clearly explained to the gentleman assisting me that I had been advised about their matching price policy by another {very helpful} employee, nevertheless, ONE DAY before my departure when I asked the gentleman that contacted me, to give a break-down of the charges. He gave the original quote before the price matching policy was applied. I was told by this gentleman that the reservation was already "locked" and that no changes could be made locally. He transferred me to some other office in Temecula, (CA) from there, I was transferred again this time to corporate. I was told someone would contact me in "a few minutes", I waited for over two hours, I never received a telephone call. Now, remember that all of this is happening "ONE DAY" before departure time when pressure and stress are at their highest level. I called the local number again, since no one answered, I was routed to Customer Service. There, the lady I spoke to was very helpful and resolved the issue immediately.
