Place is a gas station and only one person for everything. And I get There at 4:30pm and I had a reservation for 4 they told that my reservation was cancel because I didn't make it on time.

I was skipped several times by people pumping gas and eating at the cafe. Phone for business on Google Maps was incorrect, I have updated it. After drop off the vehicle inspection was not done, I was told this is done in the morning. I find that not doing the vehicle check with the person can be troublesome if damages occur overnight etc. while vehicle is waiting to be inspected.

This location is inside a convenience store of a gas station. The convenience store is one of those which doesn't have square inch of free space. They sell EVERYTHING. The space is cramped and they only have 1 small window to take care of you. You feel claustrophobic. The girl who took care of me was very nice though.

The inside of the store is so small, you barely have room to move. The staff was nice and I'm not sure if the first representative was bilingual or not since my wife is bilingual and spoke with her. The afternoon representative was very helpful and was bilingual. They could use an expansion built on to open up the floor space inside the store. They have a hot food Cafe inside that has a seating area for customers too. I just feel the inside is too cramped for the business it gets. They do have a nice selection of Uhaul trucks available, I was impressed by that.

We were 1 hour late to our pick up time (9 AM), but had the rental until 7 PM that day. The girl at the counter refused to give it to us because we were one hour late. So we canceled the reservation. Then someone called to ask if we still wanted it, despite that they said they had no truck available for us. We made a new reservation at a different location and they sent us back to the same location. This time we were allowed to have our truck, but it smelled horribly, like livestock and cigarettes, which was not ideal because I was transporting clothing. I will do everything in my power to make sure I never go back to this U-Haul rental again.

The truck that was provided to me had a leak. Happened to be raining and the day of my move, some of my furniture and paperwork got wet while it was inside the truck

The whole ordeal was a total nightmare,was lied to about a truck had a reservation for 2 weeks then no truck had to settle for a smaller one and drive to Miami to get it then another place for auto transport just a bad situation would not recommend uhaul to my worst enemy

Check in was a nightmare as I had pre-checked in online, but was told when I got there to go inside where I had to wait in line for 15 minute, then I was told to use the app and spent another 20 minutes as there was lots of external damage to the truck without markings followed by the headache of matching my face to my driver's licence. Then, I had to go back inside and wait in line again to get the key. So, for automated check-in, it took close to an hour. On top of that, the dolly and pads that I had ordered were not on the order, but I didn't want to spend another 20 minutes trying to get that fixed. Also, the gas tank was not full when I got in the truck, so I ended up having to put extra gas in the truck as I did not spend the time hunting someone down to have them note the gas tank was not full. Check in on the other hand was much more efficient and only took me 5 minutes.

My initial location was at an insurance company on 170 SW 8th St. The vehicle was not ready, the app wouldn't work, and customer service took an hour to reroute me to where a vehicle was available.

PLACE NEEDS AN EXTRA PERSON HANDLING UHAUL CUSTOMERS. THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON AT THE REGISTER AND TAKING CARE OF UHAUL SO THERE WAS A LITTLE CROWED BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND PEOPLE WAITNG TO PURCHASE THINGS FROM THE STORE. MAYBE A SEPARATE OFFICE FROM THE GAS STATION
