Customer service was horrible & unprofessional! I would never recommend this location to anyone. The "assistant manager" Uhara had an attitude with everyone she helped, answer personal phone calls and argued with whoever she was talking to. By the time I got to the counter I knew her the whole story of whomever she argued with about personal issues...all in front of customers. When I received my key I specifically asked if I am late bringing the truck back will I be penalized the other young lady helping me shook her head no and said "you should be fine" that was it! I left and returnd my truck a hour past my time and when I pulled up no one was out side to check me in. So I went inside and waited in line. Myself along with another lady wait about 10 minutes before we were told that someone was out side checking us in. So the lady and I both walked out to find a man to check us out. He asked if there was a long line inside & I told him yes. He said "they're in there bullsh**ing" I asked him what to do with my key. He said just put it in the truck. The next day I found another charge on my account almost in the same amount I was previously charged. I knew I used up a little of the gas but it was a little bit over 1/4. So I called to check. I knew the gas couldn't have possibly been that much. Upon calling, the same rude lady that was working answered. She asked if I had went over my miles I explained that I brought it back right at my given miles. She put me on hold for about 8 minutes to check. Once she returned she said that I was being charged $24 for gas and another $39 for returning the truck late. I explained that I specifically asked about being late because I knew I was running behind. She told me I didn't ask that. I said yes I asked the other lady that was there. She said she was the only one there & she tells all her customers to call. I said no ma'am the other lady told me I would be ok. She said oh, I know who you're talking about and she told you to call. I at this point I became frustrated because I was not told to call or else I would have because I knew up front i would be late that was my whole reason for asking at check in. She told me that she was not going to argue with me because she had other customers. I asked to speak to someone else she told me to call the 1-800 number. I asked for her name. She said Uhara, they know me & hung up. I called the 1-800 number extremely upset because I felt that with her comment I would get NO WHERE with this company since they "know her." The lady at the cooperative told me on her end it shows my truck was checked in that morning instead of when I brought it in. She said she would have to send it to management and give them up to 72 hours for review. I am beyond dissatisfied with this service & will never rent from Uhaul again!! As for their assistant manager, she is either over worked or doesn't like her job!

1. The van did not have the pads that we had included in our rental, so we had to make a trip back to the rental location to pick them up. 2. When we turned in the van, we had to pay $25 because the pads weren't folded. I told them I never was told they had to be folded. He rudely said "they were folded when we gave them to you, they should be folded when you bring them back". 3. He asked if I wanted a paper receipt or electronic. I said paper, so called the inside agent and said a customer was going to need a paper receipt. When I went inside, the agent there acted offended that I had requested one. As I looked over the receipt he rudely asked if there was some kind of problem with the contract. I said yeah, there was no mention of folding up the pads. He did offer any explanation. When I reviewed my original contract, there was no mention of folding the pads. 4. They ripped me off on the fuel . The fuel range was 350 miles when I picked it up. When I filled it up during my trip, then before I turned it in, the range was 410 miles. So I put in 2-3 more gallons than were in it. In general, they were rude to me three times, and they nickeled and dimed me. Very disappointed.

Uhura (great name, btw) did a great job processing my reservation quickly. The man that checked us in when done (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) was also friendly and quick as well. This Kanis location has great employees :-) I have moved quite often since 2011 and this location, and a few others in the LR area, have always served me well.

I called after I rented the uhaul online to confirm that I didn't need a deposit. The person I spoke to said I did not need a deposit. and he did not clarify that if I was using cash that I would need a deposit therefore when I showed up to pick up the truck with cash in hand, I was told I would need a $100 deposit. this was very upsetting.i had to go to the bank to deposit the money and wait 30 minutes for it to load to my card before we could rent the truck for the initial cost of only $35.04! Then they lost the keys to our truck and we and they were looking for the keys, finally they give us a different truck. I had already spent the time taking pictures of all the 30+ dents on the first truck, now we have a different truck and we were told don't worry about the damage or taking photos. the morning of us returning the truck i had checked my bank account to check my balance as we were going to be renting a carpet cleaner after we dropped of the truck, then i realized that I was charged an additional $45 from Uhual. which took all of my money left in my bank account. Again, very upsetting in the middle of moving out of my house this is the last drama that I needed! go to uhual store to drop off truck and ask about this additional charge. They could not tell us what that was for or why and they did not see that in there system, even though I showed them my bank charge on my phone screen. Then they asked us for the additional amount due, which was going to be $62!! Well, I didnt' have $62 because they had already charged me $45 . They said they would place my order on hold since it was 4th of July holiday and customer service was not open on that Monday the 3rd. Now its a week later and I see that the $45 is STILL pending on my account and I was charged an additional $1.45. so I guess the $65 they said I owed, I no longer owe. Worst experience with Uhual to date.....

They need to learn to respect the customer wish when they say not to charge they Visa card...especially when the customer said she'll pay cash when she return the U-Haul...my experience was very poor I was also charged before I made it back with the U-haul...still waiting for my money to get put back on my Visa card....7/3/17 was my worst experience with U-Haul

I had to pay an extra 17 miles because the equipment was not at my the location 3 miles from my house, I should not have to pay mileage when I cannot get one at my local location.

Please do not give out any information about this transaction to anyone but myself. Jonathan Baxter. Yesterday Clayton Harvey called for information and the information was given to him freely. I want all final transactions to be classified info only for myself. Please keep all charges and receipts reserved only for myself. Please ask for identification to prove who I am.
