Staff was courteous and explained everything both upon pick up and drop off. I was happy to find out that I didn't need to buy a lock for the truck, it came with one. And when we needed to keep the truck another day they were very accepting and cordial. I didn't like the customer service at the home base waking me up at 8:20am after working my ass off moving. But everyone at the location that serviced me was amazing!

I am angry with my overall experience the truck was towed in front of my house. I wasn't home and I had one load left to move. Now I have all these extra fees and I want my belongings and I keep getting the runaround!!!

A Female Customer Service Rep at the counter was sluggish early in the morning and did not look like she wanted to be at work. She stated she was hungover from the night before. Very unprofessional to tell that to a customer. When I received the truck and I was driving down the road due to heavy winds the hood opened up because it was not shut correctly during inspection.

You can start by not double charging for the same service. Due to putting a hold on my account for the original estimate and charging for the actual charges, my bank account became overdrawn and now I am having dispute the $35 overdraft fee and your original hold on my account. After being on hold for over 15 minutes with your customer service, I am not sure I would utilize your business again.

Unfortunately this location was extremely busy when I picked up the rental, BUT the staff was very friendly and helped those of us who were waiting as quickly as they could. It took a while, but overall, I was satisfied.

This location charges $20 for assistance with the tow trailer. I think that is ridiculous! To see these people attempt to take advantage of others who are not familiar with with that sort of equipment is absurd and wrong. I think Uhaul is expecting the customer to damage the truck or the trailer so then they can charge them for damaging it. This is unethical and should addressed with the corporate offices soon!

While the staff was nice, especially the gentleman who was there to inspect the truck when I returned it, there was only one person working inside on a very busy day. She was fantastic but considering the number of customers there should have definitely been two attendees.

First off - When I called the number that was listed on the website for that location, I thought I was speaking to someone at that location due to the fact it was the middle of the day. Apparently I wasn't. The woman at that location told me it was the call center. The woman at the call center told me that as long as I have an approved hitch on my truck I didn't need to bring anything else with me. Upon arrival to pick up the car dolly, the yard guy asked if I had the harness adapter to go from a barrel to a 4 prong flat. I said no, it's at my house. I asked if they had one that I could borrow for the day , after all , this is a major U Haul location and this probably happens a lot. He replied no , I'll need to purchase a new one. When I entered the office to look at the adapters, the woman I did paperwork with , already had one in her hand and was heading to her desk. I'm guessing it was the only one there to purchase and that's why she had it in her hand. Not the case at all. I asked why wasn't I told about this on the phone ,she said that if they had to explain everything to everyone, that THEY would be on the phone all day. Insinuating that THEY was her and the other woman in that office location. So I reminded her that I didn't speak to her, I spoke to a call center when I placed the reservation and that it's their job to talk on the phone all day. Her face just froze. She charged me $14.00 for a adapter that lights up, which I didn't ask for, when there were cheaper ones on the wall but I wasn't given that choice. That same adapter goes for a lot less everywhere else, even on their own website. I said " I bet you sell a lot of these" -she replied - yeah we do. That led to another small argument with her when I asked why they don't update their trailers to the barrel type harrness which she then tried to say that the 4 prong flat type is the the more updated harness. I couldn't even respond to such ignorance. Her attitude from the immediate start of this ordeal was the worst I've ever had to deal with, and only got worse as it unfolded. There's much more to this horrifying story that I've left out only because I'd like to speak to someone in person to place a complaint. I've always used u haul in the past, but seriously doubt I'll ever use them again. I feel as though they're trained and told to generate as much revenue as possible with every customer.

I want to provide feedback to my current rental on Friday (was supposed to be Friday) but the 800 number called me as I was pulling into the parking lot to inform me my truck was not there. So even though I scheduled my truck nearly 30 days in advance because I absolutely needed the truck Friday evening you guys did not have my truck available and told me the truck would not be available until 7am Saturday morning. At that point I had absolutely no option at 6pm in the evening other than to re-arrange all the plans for the evening and move everything to Saturday morning which caused us a HUGE loss of revenue on Friday evening. I needed the truck to move balloons to a local casino and start the set up for a big pre-superbowl event that was taking place on Saturday. The casino manager was extremely upset with us and I honestly do not know what strain that put on our business relationship going forward. This may not seem like a big deal to you on the customer service side of this but it was a HUGE loss for my business because the truck I scheduled "WEEKS" in advance was not there. For reference our company is www.702balloons.com you will see we are local balloon company here in the Las Vegas valley. I did express my concern at the local office and on the 800 number but what I was told was (sorry about that) therefore hopefully my comments above reach someone at the next customer service level that can share my comment with someone in the senior management team of Uhaul.

I had a reservation and I was a bit late, one lady who picked up a phone when I called; she told me your reservation was canceled and truck given to another customer. Wasn’t she supposed to call your customer if time lapse? What the meaning of reservation then ?

Mimi W. en

Grado:

I made a reservation for 2 days and was told that they dont allow reservations for more than 1 day. Then I was supposed to be emailed a copy of my contract and never received it. But I did receive the email receipt.
