Better location so customers can have better parking; crossing a busy highway multiple times to park is not safe and a major inconvenience. Also, employees were rude and lacked professionalism.

I had reserved the truck for 9:00 am. I arrived at 9 and it took them 45 min to deal with 2 people in front of me and then get me my truck. When I disputed the mileage and gas amount on the online app, it said to see an associate. Since the associate that helped me seemed clueless, I just took lots of pictures and left the parking lot with the truck. When I returned the truck a few hours later, it was a different associate that helped me. There were excessive fees since it looked like I drove 25,000 miles. It turned out the first associate gave me the wrong key so I took the wrong truck which is why the mileage was so off. It took a long time to sort this mess out. I have problems every time I rent from UHaul.

Allowed mikes on picking up the truck was 51. This location upon dropping off charged me $21 for going over 30 miles. Need to be consistent with other locations. My contract allowed 51 miles. Should have been honored and the Spanaway location verified I shouldn’t have been charged anything for going over.

The attendant was rude and I wasn't the only customer who expressed that opinion. The previous time I was there, to purchase supplies, I waited 10 minutes (along with other customers) before ANY UHaul representative walked up. Poorly managed location, in my opinion.

I originally ordered a 26' truck about 5 days prior to the day I needed it for my move. About 24 hours prior, I received a call confirming my order, but notifying me the truck I needed was extended and if I would be able to settle for a 20' truck. Then the day I arrived to pick up the truck, the 20' foot truck had a flat and there were no other trucks that size available, so I was asked if I could settle for a 15' truck, which I accepted because at the time I really had no choice. The staff was courteous, but it was very inconvenient to have to settle for a truck that was 11' smaller, required more trips than I intended, which then raised the cost on mileage and also extended my 24 hour need to about a 35 hour need, so a 2 day charge.

The Uhaul recommended mover Team that was "highly rated" caused damages to my home furniture and appliances and was very unprofessional, especially in a time of a Pandemic

I have been a customer at this location for 20 years. I tried the online service, which was cumbersome- and the staff on return took the key and insisted on emailing a receipt rather than checking out the vehicle with us. About 45 minutes after we left the lot we received the receipt with an unwarranted $35 cleaning fee. We also returned the tank with more fuel than on pick up. We will never use U-haul again if the 35 charges aren’t removed.

I made an online reservation and had a confirmed pickup at a location (DuPont Heated Self Storage, 3400 International Place, DuPont, WA 9832607j which I discovered -upon my arrival- no longer leases U-Haul equipment. I was cordially directed by a telephone associate to an alternate, less convenient location and was able to pick up the originally reserved equipment. I was surprised that the associate at that location required TWO alternate points of contact. I have never encountered this at any other U-Haul location and question the requirement’s legitimacy. The associate at this location also failed to inform me that nearby, off-site parking for my vehicle was available while I used the leased equipment. Upon equipment return I used the online return option, but was never greeted by an associate while I waited in the return lane, let alone offered any assistance.

I rented my truck for a lil over 3 hours. Turned it in all good right? NO ITS NOT. I Get a call the next day talking about I didn’t return the truck I breached the contract n if I don't call them it’s gonna be reported stolen. I call explain I turned it in they like oh ok you’re good. NO I wasn’t because I checked my final receipt and they charged me for two whole days when I didn’t even use the truck for one whole day.

Not have the site appear abandoned with only one attendant to fill propane, check in equipment and check it out. Dropping off after hours; when the site is not attended, would be wise.

I do not believe this location needs any improvements. The staff was the most friendliest and upbeat customer service oriented girls I have ever met they were kind from the beginning to the end. They even help me when I did not understand my bill so hats off to them thank you ladies and keep up the good work

We reserved a truck, and when we arrived the day of our reservation it had not been returned by the prior renters. However, I was never notified of this until I presented to the location for pick up. It was a local 26' truck and there was one sitting out on the lot. I asked if we could use that one and was told it was a "one way truck" with no other trucks available anywhere else. My movers would be arriving in 45 minutes and I ended up taking the "one way truck" for $100 more than the cost of the local truck. When we got the truck it looked like a can of soda exploded in the cab of the truck. Again, we needed to get our move going, plus no other truck available. Then we return it and using the website to drop off and it has the nerve to tell us we will be charged an additional $157. HORRIBLE experience!!! As a military family, we will be telling all our moving friends to AVOID! Such a terrible experience and now we're out extra money, and not because of anything we did.

The equipment was in very good condition and pulled very well. The ratchets on the front of the trailer needed some TLC. Other than that, the trailer was in excellent shape.
