The Appliance dollie that I rented had worn wheels & we had to be very careful as it kept falling when not in use. The first time was a close call to being knocked out. That dollie either needs to be maintenanced or replaced. Also, it would be nice if these Appliance dollies had quick release straps instead of the current buckle straps.

Truck was low on transmission fluid. The person who assisted us was extremely polite and trying to help. He could not find transmission fluid anywhere on the property. We previously rented trucks which were very low on engine oil. Lack of service of vehicles at this location AND the Kaliste Saloom location seems to be a chronic problem. I would recommend this location to a friend based on the young man named Solomon at this location. Service your equipment better - it will save you money.

This entire rental experience was horrible from start to finish!!!! I reserved the truck at the location closest to my house. I received a call the day before to tell me that my reservation was transferred to another location way on the other side of town! I was really pisses because I am convince that this is poor customer service and just a way for the company to make more money because I end up paying way more in mileage. I was told the location to pick up was in front of the Acadiana Mall. When I arrived there, they were trying to send me to another location even further away!! I refused and asked to switch to a van. I called customer service several times to get compensation for the additional miles. The first guy said he was going to change the rate to 79 cents per mile, which is what I was already locked in for when I made the reservation. I looked up my confirmation email and confirmed that I was correct!!!! I called customer service back again and she agreed to put a note and email to have someone call me! No one was able to resolve my concerns even asking to speak with a supervisor several times! I would like someone to call me as soon as possible regarding my concerns!!!!!!

I showed up at my scheduled time, 9am on Sunday, which is apparently right when the location opens. I waited in line until almost 9:45, due to the fact that there were only two employees, and it was first come first serve, regardless of reservation time. I elected to get a ultimatum dolly and a dozen furniture pads, but they were not put on my truck. Upon returning the truck, I let the employee know and he said “yeah, I noticed that, I’m not going to get into why they didn’t put it on, but we have been busy all day”. I assumed I would have been given a refund for the items I did not receive, but it showed up on my receipt anyway. I had a busy day of unpacking ahead of me after my move, so I did not have time to go back and get this rectified.

I made a reservation two weeks prior to the date that I needed a u haul. I received a text message stated that I would have to go to a different location 2 days before my pickup day. Long story short, poor customer service and they gave me the wrong size truck.

Customer service at the location was great. However, my particular vehicle needed to be taken out of commission. Suspension was shot, and when I would drive over 55 mph the A/C to include the fan would cut off. So for 4 hours I drove with no A/C.

I rented a trailer and a appliance dolly. I pulled out the parking lot and was notified the reason I needed the trailer had changed and I didn't need the trailer. I turned around less than 5 minutes later and asked that they refund or partially refund my rental. I was told no because I pulled off the lot. That is ridiculous and with that kind of service I will find some other source for my moving needs when the time comes up. It was obvious that nothing had been used and the ink was still wet on the paperwork. Will not be going back.

Trailer was too small. I tried to get in contact with this location and was rerouted to main office. The main office helped me with my situation and the local dealer in New Iberia was willing to go above and beyond to help us. The Lafayette location would not provide information when I said what the equipment was being used for but New Iberia location helped us out

Perhaps being honest with customers would be a good start. I was overcharged for miles I did not drive. The reason? Your clerk had the wrong starting mileage on the contract. I was told I drove 244 miles in a five hour time period. I only drove 115 miles. However, I did not take a picture of the starting mileage. So your word against mine. I am disappointed in this, but I will pay. I will also make sure to let everyone I know about my experience. Erin the girl behind the counter needs to learn customer service. She wouldn't even look me in the eye because she knew she was in the wrong and your company was in the wrong. I wish you well in future business endeavors. I thank you for pretending to care about what I have to say about my experience with what I thought was a reputable company.
