Overall this was a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The equipment was as promised, clean and in good working order. This is not my first time using U-Haul and I won't hesitate to use them again .THERESA M.

The parking lot is extremely small and there is no clear designated area to park your car. I ended up parking with the U-Haul trucks and vans out by the street.Jonathan A.

Employee didn't tighten hitch to the ball on my truck. Drove that way all the way to destination. Then when we were loading vechicle on trailer hitch can forward and damaged the rear lift gate. When we arrived back to U-Haul all she could say is sorry. I will forwarding you picture of damaged tail gate. 6 people witnessed the incident. It wasn't this locations fault but someone needs to communicate better with customers when locations are changed from the original quote. The truck I reserved was not at the correct location and no one called me to let me know so I was behind schedule and had to drive extra miles because no one called me to let me know the truck was moved to a different location. However someone got the situation resolved and I was only charged the original amount I was supposed to pay so I appreciate that. Everything else was good.CURTIS T.

I reserved a U Haul near me a month in advance two days before pick up I got a call they couldn't find what I asked for so after sitting on the for almost 20mins the lady found one at a different location i was told they would change my mileage rate(my management apon return) and it didn't happen then after returned to U Haul put gas in it I was charged for more gas and was told my mileage should have been done when I picked it up I asked for the guy who helped I was told he wasn't coming in that day four hours after I returned the U Haul I got a call saying the U Haul hadn't been returned I asked the man to check his Camara I been returned it backed it in I asked again about my refund I was asked for my name and number and someone would get back to me two days later still no callHinetha B.

When we arrived Tuesday night just before close they were nice and I returned the auto transport. The facility was to small to leave the two trucks till morning when we could unload into our two reserved units that would also be free for the first month. In the morning when we got there they informed me that they did not have the units that were reserved for us. He said he only had one 5x10 and 10x10. We needed a 10x10 and a 10x20. So then I had to search for a local self storage facility that would have the two units we needed and pay 287.00 and I lost half a day looking for that. The trucks and auto transport ran great with no problems from maine to North Carolina, worker at this facility were nice and friendly but could not come thought with what 1-800-go-u-haul had reserved for us making the move even more stressful and costly.PATRICK M.
Please Improve Customer service staff other than the one who waited on me. Just something wrong with the relationship between management, and staff. Management is very intimidating but I don't have to work for him so I was able to ignore his attitude and his lack of concern. Everyone had on mask except for him. I told him I was uncomfortable about that due to asthma. What made it even worse is the small office, renovation going on, too many people, and the managers coughing! The VIRUS IS STILL AROUND! He did NOT care! I was charged 3xs the quote, and not even made aware at the time. I complained about the brakes that almost killed me by NOT WORKING! They could care less! The truck ran like it was on its last leg/wheel. So embarrassing on the road! I honestly had an awful experience!Robin M.

Safety chains were hanging after install, broke on the drive while hanging... I was not informed of any of the requirements of the equipment or shown how to use any of it.grace H.
The truck was dirty, latches were not secured. Windows were very noisy when driving due to bad door seals. The truck seat belt would not stay latched and would randomly unbuckle when driving. VERY UNSAFE!! Gas was not at the level they said it was. Overall Very dissatisfied! Would not go back and would not recommend it.Mathew H.
