trucks were piled up and abandoned at the front entrance making it impossible to get it. multiple uhauls were vandalized and there was no space to drop the truck off.

There needs to be a better process for verifying discrepancies in mileage and fuel. Also, the management team that runs the facilities when the GM is off needs a better understanding of the policies and better people skills other than I can’t do anything for you. People skills is a must! Very bad customer service today, I will not be using this facility again! Uhaul has a bad taste in my mouth right now and I use them on the regular. May be time to find another company

I wasn’t able to retrieve my vehicle key using the 24/7 mobile access process. I went through the entire process on my phone and there wasn’t a lock or key on the box 1. Wasted my time getting there early at 6am. Employee had to go get my key from the inside. I didn’t get my key until 0630. Looks like they forgot to set the reservation up the day before I arrived.

Be consistent I rented 2 trucks on 2 different days and was told 2 different things. The first trip I was told to drop the truck off as a one way drive and it would be cheaper The second time I was told not to because it would be more. I think the pricing was inconsistent and the sells guys were just try to get as much as they could.

1) I booked in advance and did not have the truck or equipment to transport the change. I was forced to take and PAY for a bigger one and sacrifice myself to carry my boxes. 2) Bad and disrespectful service. 3) You advertise that if you do not honor the booking, we will receive $ 50.00. Misleading advertising because I received absolutely NOTHING!

Issues mainly with the attandent working outside: A furniture dolly was paid for but not found in the vehicle when I do inspection. Informed the receptionist and she said the attendant working outside didn't notice it in the list (even though it was there) and she would call him. I stepped outside and informed the guy myself. He said he'll take care of it. Later on he said it's done. Later I realized that he apparently has put the dolly into a different van, not mine! Since I didn't reinspect, I drove away without a dolly. When I arrived the moving location with helpers waiting I noticed the issue but it was too late (Inglewood location was 20 min away to where I live). It was VERY inconvenient to do moving without a dolly. I called and let the receptionist know at that point and complained about the attendant. There were other mix-ups and confusion when I drop off the vehicle, it took ~15 min. I will not go back to this location ever. I had actually reserved Playa Vista pickup originally, but then I was asked to go to this location on the email.

First, my app told me to go to a different location, until I got there, followed the steps and it told me to go to another. Then when I got to new, I check in. Woman at counter took pic of my license with what appeared to be her personal phone, I don't like that. Then the woman at counter told me to take the slip to a guy outside. I get outside, no one is wearing any clear identifiable ID or Uhaul uniform. And certainly no employees waiting to take care of me. And there were (always are) several guys hanging around the lot, some in chairs, so I didn't know who worked there and who didn't. I asked one guy, he said he wasn't "on the clock yet." and walked away. So I used the keys to find the vehicle because if I can do it faster myself, I will. I started checking it, and the same guy came to me (I guess he was clocked in at this point). He tells me to go wait over there (the entrance where no one was waiting to help) and he'll get my vehicle (which I was already inspecting). So I walked over and waited. I watched him try to unlock the wrong vehicle for almost a minute. Finally I pointed and he found it. He pulls it up to me and tells me to double check it with the link. I never got a link. So I he tells a woman standing nearby. She says Ok Ill send it again as she jumps into a uhaul truck and drives it across the lot. So i stand there as the guy walks away. I waited about 2 minutes before I thought "I don't have time for this." and I took pics of the vehicle, the gas, and I left. Such a slow process that could be so fast. And I never did get that text.

I received a truck that was not in good condition, the transmission would not change into gears very poor condition we were worse then a snail, I could not get on the freeway so I tug a tug down the street. Very dissatisfied. I've used this store on multiple occasions this is the first!

Arrived no customer service rep was outside to assist me with my appointment. Could not find keys to truck and had to wait for employee to finally decide to exchange the truck once I requested I could not wait. Customer service rep charged me an extra 10 buck for insurance I requested I did not want or need. Will not be returning to this location.

My booking got changed last minute to a different location which is very far from my place. I had to drive 15 miles extra, waste 1hour of my time to pickup and drop off. I would not recommend u haul to any of my friends. I am not even compensated for the last minute change and the $50 reservation guarantee means nothing

Explain that one way fee has minimum charge of 3 day rental. I was able to return truck within one day and did not receive credit for the 2 days. I'm sure it was in fine print, but that is not being honest.

I am so livid. I returned a van last night. I tried to use the app and I even quit, restarted, and shut down the app. Only to not be able to complete the return check in on the app. I returned the key regardless --the next day I am charged a convenience fee of $20. I called the number for the store and no one answers and then it rings to the national hotline. They had to transfer me to three different people to try and resolve the issue, which still could not be resolved. I told them the app did not work and I would like my $20 back. They said they created a complaint, reached out to the general manager of the store when I rented, and he did not respond. I followed up and called the store and said I wanted to talk to him and he was not available. Not only that, the store clerk said he has 3 days to contact me to resolve this. Such a WASTE OF TIME! UHaul should be able to reverse a charge right away. Clearly, the manager does NOT care about customer satisfaction, which is abhorrent considering how frequently I rent from them. I guess I have to wait 2 more days for this guy to do anything about it and I believe he won't bother fixing the problem. So it will be up to me to call again and demand my paltry $20 back and really they should provide some other form of compensation for all the trouble. Fix your app, and train your managers to have better response time and actually care. Empower the customer service reps on the hotline to be able to refund money (and actually I have been refunded for overcharged this way in the past -- what happened?)
