The p/u was fine. The return this morning was HORRIBLE, at best!!! She was Very Rude, and couldn't stay off her phone long enough to address my concerns and issues!!! Very Unprofessional!!! She seemed unaware as to what info she was to provide me!!! Last time at this location!!!tamara W.

If a customer asks for help, don't huff and puff about it. It is very rude. As for me I had never driven a trailer and I asked if they could help me hook everything up and they didn't want to. They told me to park my equipment in a certain area when I got back but when I dropped it off they wanted me to go park my trailer just like the display items and put everything back where it goes before inspecting it. The air in my tires was extremely low and I was unable to leave until it was fixed. Very dissatisfied with my overall experience.BRENNA B.
I sent my boyfriend to pick up the 4x7 trailer I rented. I gave him the printed confirmation receipt that showed I did not add on insurance. I also used my credit card to place the reservation. But yet, Darlene added on the insurance and since the total was now different, she told my boyfriend that they needed to use his credit card but said that the original card was only to reserve and couldn't be used as a form of payment. That's a lie! She only had to use a different card because I did not consent to the extra charge for insurance. When she asked him if he wanted the insurance he told her â€œ whatever she has already is what you need to doâ€. The trailer was full of dried mud, and since I didn't have access to a broom. All my items got dirty from having to sit them on top of the mud. I called and tried to live chat after being hold for almost 20 min but was unsuccessful with both attempts. Will not be going back to this location.Shawna G.

The lady at drop off was the absolute worst , incredibly rude, would not help in any way unhitch the trailer, it took me several tries to back the trailer in and then she said I was few minutes past time and she was charging me another day as I pleaded my case she walked off, the worst customer service possibleJames B.
I first went to the one on Washington street. The guy was pretty rude. He said "just because you see a trailer out there that don't mean it's available"...I knew that because I've rented uhauls many times and never said anything to the contrary, but he sure was ready with rude answers. He told me they were out of everything and I should go to the one on Shadeland. The other guy there laughed and he said, "Well, they do it to us" He asked me for all my info so I thought he was reserving something, but it turned out that he did not. So he wanted my name and telephone number because? He looked up my information for some reason. So, then I went to the one on Shadeland. They had a trailer and rented it to me but I really had to pry answers about what they had out of them. They also were making jokes between themselves but never cracked a smile when it came to talking to me. I was satisfied with the rental, but felt like good customer service was kinda out the window at both of these locations. I'm always friendly with other people until they start coming off like these folks did. It was like I had some nerve coming in there to rent something which I thought seemed a little misplaced when the business is there for that purpose.Christa P.

Well they was very Nice and helpful to me. I think they can have more vans for small pick ups. Oh I would like for them to explain how they do the miles. For example if I would have said I would go 20 miles. Do they just charge for that if you don't go over. I guess I didn't understand that part. But everything was good overallDEENA B.

When arriving at the U-Haul on north Shadeland Ave in Indianapolis Indiana; there wasn't anyone in the office. Went out looking for someone no-one could be found. Waited for over 25 minutes and a black guy comes in, refused to put on a Covid-19 mask!!! Deliberately did not properly run my card, and tossed it into the counter. Said, " so much for your renting a truck today!!" When I asked if I could pay cash, he stated " where is a bum like you going to get $100?! I pulled out of my pocket a $100 bill and placed it on the counter. They gave me the WORST truck on the lot!!! Rented it for 24 hours, and early the next morning got a call stating that I was to bring the truck back Immediately, because they had another reservation for the vehicle!!! I am now in civil litigation against U-Haul!!; I will NEVER rent from them ever again!!! My recommendation, don't rent from this location!Â¡JAMES D.

Truck was beat up and dented all over. Inside of the back was not clean. The front looked like someone shook up a pop can and sprayed the windshield with it. The entire thing smelled like smoke and like someone had lived inside of it. I couldn't even keep it and drive it the time I needed to because of the odor.Becky W.
Your staff was friendly, but not well organized. I placed a phone reservation with your call center and when I went to pick up the truck, it wasn't in the "ready" location but instead wasn't serviced for use. It was very dirty in the cab and debris in the back, also less than a quarter tank of gas. So I went back inside to inform the agent and I had to wait until she finished with another customer, she then assigned me another truck and it too was low on gas "under a quarter tank". As I go back inside to inform her of the issue, I once again had to wait until she finished with yet another customer. All total it took 50 minutes to finally get a truck and I don't believe I was given any fuel credit or any other type of discount for the inconvenience. Booking in advance is supposed to be convenient, this in no way was convenient at all. I hope you'll take the time to look into this matter and issue any credit to my debit that I'm entitled to.
