My preferred location was Laurel and when I picked it up there, they sent me to Hyattsville which was 45 min away from home. When I complained to the manager on site ( her name was Kim) she dismissed me and was outrageously rude. Every person including the ones on the phone were unprofessional and not properly trained. Going to Hyattsville made me late three hours. I will never use uhaul again.

Unfortunately the system was down when I went to the store as a walk in to pick up the truck. I had to reserve it online in order to get the truck. Also upon returning, no on was outside to assist me with returning the truck. Me and a few other guest waited for about 10-15mins before we all walked inside to have to stand in line and wait to return the truck after I was told when reserving it, I would not be required to do this. I followed there instructions and they failed! However the employees were nice.

It took nearly an hour to get through a long line to get the trailer I reserved . The employees told me it is always like that on weekends . If I had known it would be like going to the Department of Motor vehicles I would have made other plans . This location needs at least twice the number of employees checking people in .

Everything was good until it came time to return the truck. I knew i wont be finish at the drop off time(4pm) they gave me so when i contact the store to tell them i will be late returning the truck while asking them how much if it would cost me, the representative told me i wont be charge any extra fee outside the miles i will be using for the truck and i can drop off the truck anytime that night at the dropoff point because the truck will be needed in the morning. He just express the importance of filling the truck up with gas. To my surprise, the next day i was charge an extra 120 dollars for the truck and when i call again to the location, the lady that pick up calmly explain to me why i was charge an extra day and apologize for the false information that was giving to me from the day before. If i had known i will be double charge for it, I would had finish up my packing and return the truck a lil later since they took the last amount of money from my account smh

I have 24 / 7 access to my storage unit. I had rented a truck to bring some additional items to it. I arrived at 11:30 PM to empty the truck and return it. My bicycle was in the storage unit and I was going to ride it to pick up my car, which was 3.miles away. When I attempted to access my unit, it did not work and said "tamper lockout". I pushed the call button, but no one answered. So I had to walk to get my car after midnight and didn't get to sleep until after 3. I overslept and still had to go back and unload the truck before I could turn it in. This caused me to mugs an appointment for work. I lost $150 in business for today. When I told the manager, he simply said he was sorry. He didn't know why that happened. No promise to investigate, no offer of compensation for my lost sleep.lost time, or aggravation.. It seems that Uhaul sends its employees to the Donald Trump school for customer relations

They did a great job of explaining what went wrong with the truck trailer/hitch & were pleasant and kind in explaining how to reach out to Corporate U-Haul. NEVER have I had a bad experience with U-Haul: either the people, equipment, or storage areas...This experience? Could not have happened to a nicer and more loyal customer. Let's talk Corporate U-Haul: 1. full refund - just for the truck 2. an email that you are providing the safety & safety training to your stores, especially those that are family and/or mom and pop owned.

Rates we not correct when returned. After 45min discussion over it and being overcharged to my CC after I asked it to be transferred to my debit the correct amount emerged. Also no one was in the building on arrival and had to call to get someone to come out.

The customer service during pick up this morning was abhorrent. I use the Chillum facility quite often and I've had wonderful (glowing in-fact) customer service, but this morning was definitely not the norm. As much as I want to patronize my neighborhood uhaul I don't want to feel like a bother just using the service. I should point out the service representative WASN'T outwardly rude but she was CERTAINLY NOT welcoming either.

I've been here be for. Love the staff. Fill they need more help. For such a large sight. But they do the best they can. Once my turn 'came it was quick and preasent. Ps; I think the mileage was off.

A little chaotic, not a lot of signs for direction. We ended up driving in the wrong way. When there was a sign, it was to late and we had to turn around a huge uhaul truck in a small area. Fast drop off after that, but still a smidge chaotic, it is a large uhaul facility.
