I was overcharged for an extra day for rental and charged for fuel when I brought it back where it was before taking the truck. I’ve never had this problem before renting U-Haul trucks at other locations but I won’t use this one again they’re dishonest.

customer service needs to improve by some of the employees and the rates have to be similar to other rentals. Enterprise is much cheaper and they don't hit me for excessive mileage fees. The cargo vans are also smaller at UHaul compared to Enterprise so I am getting less and paying more.

Representative at America Safe "N" Sound very rude and refused to rent me a truck. She had an attitude from the time she opened the door could possibly be racially motivated. I'm not sure. I got the district manager involved and he rented me the truck without her assistance until it was time to get the key out of the lockbox. The combination did not open the box. I will definitely report this to the better business bureau, and post my experience wherever I can online. Uhaul should reconsider having America Safe "N" Sound represents them as a dealer.

only thing that didn't work out was the lock on the truck. it was seized up. we got it open with a lot of difficulty and didn't attempt to put it through the latch because it may not have opened up again. i needed to be able to lock the truck up for an hour so i could take a break so i ended up buying a lock to use to secure it. all in all the staff was good, truck was usable. office immaculate and bright.

Your computer system sucks. It took over 30 minutes to do a simple rental. Woman at counter had to call corporate to do the rental because her computer system wasn't working. We didn't want the insurance, but apparently it's mandatory on the van.

the staff was very rude. one lady in particular was extremely rude and unprofessional. she should not be in customer service if she doesn't know how to talk to or treat people. The second lady was awesome and very helpful.

The location was fine and the pick up was clean. However, had I not really needed the truck I would have walked away from the reservation and went else where as the mobile self- check out was a nightmare. First I tried to process the pick up and got a message that there was an issue and to call. I called and after being transferred a few times finally was advised that in 2006 there was a vehicle marked not returned in a screen but clearly was returned (2006? Really? No one reached out to me since 2006?). They were able to review my record and see it was a mistake at the location and updated my account. Then I, in error must have typed on digit of my birthdate wrong when I made the reservation so it did not match my driver's license. I was able to immediately update on my profile online to correct it, but 10 mins on the phone with customer service ended with us learning no one was able to correct the DOB on the current reservation so I had to start all over. The person on the line was able to cancel my reservation but could not make a new one so I had to be transferred over to the new reservation dept. where I held again for an extended amount of time - enough time that I ended up making a new reservation on my phone on line while I held. So rather than a quick and easy process it took me 45 mins to get my vehicle. I should not have had to deal with 3 different depts. each with their own associated wait times to get the issues corrected. I would hesitate to use this process again.
