Rick had no computer capabilities as the UHAUL services were down at the time I was to pick up my truck. With no help from the UHAUL rep on the phone with Rick...he was handling the situation perfectly with calls coming in, customers walking through the door to return vehicles, to pick vehicles up etc. I would absolutely recommend others to this location with people like Rick at the helm! Thanks Rick!!
Todd EI've been renting units and also trucks from this storage facility for over twenty years. The staff has always been professional at all times. The ability to come and go 24hrs 7 days a week has been an ultimate plus. And also in the winter whenever there's been snow. They were always right on the money with the removal. SANDRA P | Overall Experienceeverything was great except Sunday drop off its a bit crazy parking lot to small and the Storage facility is so active ,with people coming in and out of the gate its a little chaotic, day after drop off they called me and said they couldn't find the keys?? (on Monday) that i was told to leave in drop box which I did? need better coordination on returns should have attendant their on Sunday for better service & experience for all! however Friday picking up The Lady was super nice and Helpful, she showed she cared and was very accommodating

Richard MOnline pickup is absolutely terrible. After I booked the reservation I called customer service immediately as the online system never works. I spent over an hour with multiple agents until I was assured the reservation would show up and everything would be fine. The next morning the rental would not go through on the app or the website. Again another 1/2 hour + which made me late for our job, and cost for my crew to stand around waiting for the truck. It's worth it to drive a little further to Penske or Ryder to get a truck and not deal with this lost time and additional cost.

We tried to call the U-Haul main number and were told it would be 10 minutes more after waiting for what felt like an eternity Next time I will try a different vendor or never use a mobile app for sign in and return

Daniel LUhaul communication between main center and the size was very poor. Shannon called me to say that the U-Haul I rented was no longer available and the closest site was in Baldwin. So I went to Baldwin and the guy told me there that the trailer was broken and that U-Haul should have known that. He told me that there were no more trailers left on Long Island and that I had to go to Flatbush. I waited an hour and finally a switchboard manager found one in Hauppauge. This whole process was extremely disorganized and disappointing

John COn Oct 10 I rented a truck and the person who helped me wrote in the contract that he had to deliver the truck in three hours after receiving it, but he didn't tell me, then he started calling saying he would charge me an extra day if he didn't I returned I thought it was 24 hours to return the truck but I had to return it without having finished the job I rented it for. Last Monday I made the mistake of going back to that place to rent the van to finish the job and I couldn't finish the job either and for taking it 10 minutes later the same employee who treats me very badly charged me an extra day, even though I I asked him to give me the truck to finish the job and to charge me for the day, he snatched the keys from me and left, he charged me the extra day, and he didn't give me the truck. I wouldn't recommend that place to an enemy.

Jean LUhaul changed my reservation less than 24 hours before I needed the truck. I tried to get on the phone with them and I was transferred exactly 9 times while on the phone with them for 2 hours. It was the WORST experience I have ever had with a company. As a result, I no longer had a one way truck drop off which resulted in me going double the miles and costing double the price.
NICHOLAS MI had tremendous problems with the self check in, took 1hr and a half to get it right, after talking with a agent she tried to transfer me to another agent, I was put at the end of the line, waited 45 minutes. All the agent were great.
Robert AThe process of reserving a truck thru the Uhaul call center was horrible. I was continually told that I could book a reservation but they would not confirm the truck's availability until the day before the scheduled pickup. How can you expect a customer to plan a move that way?????

JOSEPHT PAlready put in a formal complaint and corporate is working on it. Specifically, being a retired quality assurance auditor, how can you rent trucks that spew heat out in late June with no stopping it, with air conditioning being rendered useless. Furthermore, the rubber gasket around the passenger window was off causing discomfort and a safety hazard to the occupant. They had asked how I was ranking the condition of the truck upon receipt? I tried to answer the request just to get the statement my statement timed out; and by the way, the power of the engine was very poor. I'm contemplating contacting the department of transportation for their investigation of safety practices, but an electing to take the high road and see what corporates response will be. Highly frustrating experience, and disappointing.
Brian LThere are numerous signs on the building and door requiring customers to wear a mask or they will be denied entry. I wore a mask and was unbothered but I felt this was a little ridiculous. Otherwise, my experience was great. Thanks.

Mauricio DI forget the young ladies name that helped us but she was super pleasant and very helpful. We got in and out quickly when we picked up and dropped off. There were two locations locally to choose from and this one had the better reviews, definitely was a good experience.

Armando MDoing online return process in the night using a mobile phone is very difficult because of limited visibility and the small letters on a mobile phone. While the process itself is good, if something can be done to improve night-time visibility and difficulty in reading instructions on a mobile phone in will be great.
SANTHANAM PRented a box truck from Hauppauge location took out insurance package your representative Ryan at 646 260 5253 charged my account 400 dollars and said the floor was damaged and that the insurance did not cover it and that a 500 lb skid of cardboard bent the flimsy plate on the floor. This kind of practice is completely unacceptable when your people push the insurance!!

jeremiah mLorraine made the checkin/checkout process smooth and easy. Company-wise the only complaint I have is in regard to the gas tank levels. My rental only had 1/4 of a tank upon pick up and not knowing how the gas mileage would go, I filled the tank at the cost of $75!!! I returned it above 3/4 full! There should be some kind of guide to advise how much gas will be needed. Major unnecessary expense!!!
