It was 90 degrees the day I rented and the air conditioning in the truck was not working. Also, the truck brakes are bad. The driver didn't notice it much on the way down, but on the way back (and with a full load), the brakes were not working well. Both conditions made the ride back from Virginia very uncomfortable and possibly unsafe.Camille M.

I have used this location previously with fewer issues however my most recent experience was frustrating. I used the app to check in but upon arrival, could not locate my truck. a uhaul associate approached me and told me to keep pressing â€œcan't find my truckâ€ until one that was â€œaccessibleâ€ appeared on the screen. Once I got into my truck, the app would not allow me to take a photo of the odometer and gas meter... I took my phone into the office and the same associate did something on my phone, handed it back and said I was all set. Additionally, my hand truck was not inside the truck because...well it wasn't the truck on my reservation so I had to find someone and ask for the equipment rental...When I returned the vehicle , i handed my key to someone and then proceeded to scan the QR code on the window that said â€œreturn/check inâ€ and then another associate told me not to do that and that â€œI was all setâ€. I later received my receipt showing that I was BILLED FOR 6 GALLONS of gas! I returned the truck with the same exact amount of gas and not to mention, I only drove 7 miles according to the odometer records so there's no physical way I could have even used 6 gallons of gas... definitely the worst uhaul experience I have had to date.Maria M.
This particular truck has an issue. The driver's side mirror is not able to stay when you drive a speed of 20 and above. Which is a very big risk for drivers. Please I will recommend you guys tighten it up before renting it out to another driver.OKECHUKU U.
The system was down and I was not able to access my reservation until four days after I needed it. The staff was friendly and helpful but it doesn't change the fact that I lost money due to their unavailability.Akshita S.

The pick up location was easy to find and the person working was really helpful! The only issue that I ran into is the app would not work properly when I tried to pick up the truck. The app kept giving me an error on an alternative telephone number (the number in question is only 1 number off of the number used for the reservation, but the app incorrectly thought that I was using the same phone number). The person working was able to sort everything out right away.amy P.
I was unable to use the self service check out for the drop off come to find out was because Uhaul's server was down. The 1-800 number was not working either so we waiting on chat for 30 minutes before someone answered to instruct us to leave the Uhaul without checking out.Katie L.

This was the worst experience I have had with a company in a while. I first had a reservation to pick up my uhaul at the shell station on Russell street but showed up there at noon and they were very ignorant while telling me they didn't have my truck and didn't know what I should do. They told me go to 2929 Washington Blvd so I then showed up there and got told again there was no truck for me. I had to call uhaul again at this point and speak with someone who then could get me another truck 25 min away on the other side of the city. So I had to Uber all the way there and finally pick up a truck an hour and a half after I should have had it. Then was also told I had to return the damn truck to that location which was very far away from my house instead of being able to return it to the location originally chose, this added much more cost as well. I will be telling everyone not to ever use uhaul at all and writing many more bad reviews. On top of it all it ruined my day and they charged me $50 over what they quoted me online.Kyle Y.
