This isn't actually a review of the location, but since there's no place to review U-Haul's corporate performance, this is my only option. I had no problems with either the pickup or drop off location, but my experience with U-Haul, the company, was terrible. The problems started when I arrived to pick up the truck at 7:30 and found out for the first time that I had to provide additional identity verification, something not mentioned on the app or any of the information sent to me beforehand. Most of the available options were documents that neither I nor anyone else regularly carries, but fortunately one was to provide a phone number for someone else so I did that. After about 10 minutes, I was finally approved for the rental. This was something that, had I known it was required, I obviously could have done in advance, in a comfortable setting, rather than in a parking lot on the side of a busy highway. Then, when I tried to complete the rental, my card was declined. I tried two other cards, and they were also declined. I called customer service and, after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I was told "the system was down" and I just had to wait until it came back up, whenever that might be. I went back home, where I discovered the app wasn't working. After waiting on hold another 10 minutes, I was told that you have to be at the pickup location to access the payment screen. I was also told that if I went back to the location after it opened, and the app still wasn't working, they would be able to process my payment. I asked several times, in several ways, to confirm this, and the representative assured me that this would work. I returned to the pickup location when they opened at 9, and the processing system still was down. When I went in to complete the transaction, the manager said she could not complete the transaction after all. Eventually, the the processing system was fixed, and I was able to rent the truck over two hours late. I understand that computers sometimes fail and software has bugs that may not appear for years, but that's why there should be redundancy. If U-Haul's main system goes down, they should have a backup way to complete orders. My other complaints are relatively minor but reinforce my opinion. First, the dolly and pads I had ordered were not in the truck, so i had to go back inside to get them. (In this regard, the delay was a bit of a blessing in disguise, since I wouldn't have been able to get the tools before 9.) Second, the truck was dispatched to me with 1/8 tank of gas, but the contract said that if I returned it with less than 1/4 tank, I would be fined $30.00, and I was given a "fuel credit" of $0.00. So basically, this multi-billion-dollar company was gouging me for $10.00 worth of gas. After this experience, I can't imagine ever renting from U-Haul again. They may have gotten their $10.00 of gas, but they lost any chance of my repeat business.

SHONDA SAttendant was rude. Late for my appointment and made it perfectly clear that it was not her main job. I will Never use this location again
Philip mThe attendant failed to secure the trailer to my vehicle. I could have killed myself or someone else when the trailer started swaying side to side and jerking. She apologized, but what is an apology if someone was killed due to her neglect!
gleenwell sI signed up for phone pickup, but had to go inside for the key. Not a problem this time because pickup was during office hours. If not it could have been very frustrating.
