The trailer was clean. But after I loaded it one of the tires was low. I couldn't tell that it was low when I picked it up only after I loaded the trailer. That made for an extra stop to put air and it was more difficult while pulling a trailer.

Pick up was streamlined since I filled everything out ahead of time. But the return process was less than ideal. Zero to no communication about wait time. Walked in, to two customers waiting ahead of me. Girl at register said she was on a lunch and her coworker would be with us shortly before heading to the back. Sign on the counter said â€œback in 5 minutesâ€, waited 23 minutes before two guys arrived. Wasn't sure if it we would have her help us after her lunch since the wait took so long. Meanwhile there was another girl sitting in a chair hiding behind a sales rack playing on her phone. Not sure if she was an employee or not, but she ignored everyone. We tried our best to stay patient, but there is only so many times you can walk a Small lobby before it becomes redundant. A customer had to go outside and look for them, when he returned he came back with the employees. Very unprofessional, would have left if I didn't need a printed receipt. When asked why it took so long the cashier said we could have dropped it off by signing in to the app and dropping off the keys in the drop box.
I'm not sure. The employee who waited on us didn't know what she was doing. The first truck had the check engine light on and she wanted us to go ahead and take it, umm, no. Hubby had to clean the snow off all 3 trucks she brought out, he fell off truck 2 while cleaning it. Truck 2, first the gas reading was way off & then the milage was off by 10,000 miles. We were on contract 3 by now. I don't know why that couldn't be fixed, but on we went to truck 3 which we ended up with. As frustrating as all that was, we ended up getting stuck in the snow and since we bought the insurance, it was covered and that made all the aggravation somewhat better. We will be using the College Rd store but will avoid Airport Way. I almost forgot this, they called us the next morning asking if we still wanted the truck. They didn't even know we had the truck. She hadn't leased it to us. That was really contract 5. The person we talked to on the phone about getting it out of the snow was just frustrated (we're in Alaska and she couldn't comprehend no paved roads being near and still useable) and tried to deny the claim. The manager here in Alaska did understand and overrode her denial. It turned out okay but it was frustrating getting to the ok part!
You charged me twice and I will want my second charge reversed back to my account.
Very friendly agents and with on line made it fast to get the truck , quick and that is a plus I have zero patience and they made it quick thanks ladies at the desk
Absolutely the worst customer service on the Fairbanks end. First of all the agent wanted to charge me an extra day for being an hour late, what's up with that??? There was a full lot of trucks... I actually picked it up early because you called me and said there were too many trucks and it would be helpful to pick it up early. If you really want a suggestion please replace the agent on the Fairbanks end...it made the whole experience leave a sour taste in my mouth. I will definitely be repeating this story to anyone who will listen!!!
During my rental I had to extend my rental each day because I still needed the truck, my bill was close to $300.00 that was already charged to my credit card and on Tuesday the 13th of October I missed the drop off for the uhaul truck at 8:45am and was busy working to complete what I needed the truck for when my mother called me very upset because a uhaul employee called her threatening to report the truck I was renting stolen and that was completely unrational, over the top bad customer relations. I returned the truck this morning as I walked in the office at 8:35am a man swiftly got up from a chair walked around towards me did not look at me, did not speak to me but reached his hand out for the key and as I extended my arm he snatched the key still he did not say a word I followed immediately behind him as he headed for the truck I had rented. He approached the truck almost to open the door and I told him to have a good day and that his rude customer service accompanied with the threat of criminal charges is unacceptable. To be treated so rudely by a uhaul employee is disgusting and shows how this world is the way it is. I am awaiting a return call from my Laywer I have never been treated so badly in my life.
Don't overcharge their credit card for 2days when it was only one day rental. Listen to the customers when they're trying to show evidence of one day rental oppose to 2 days. Don't get all caught up in your feelings when you know the customer is right and threaten to call the police like an idiots. Anybody can call the police!!!! Therefore, the U-Haul worker threatens to call the police on an innocent customer who I turn helps the worker out by calling the police for him. I nor my company will never ever do business at this location again!!!!!!!!

the vehicle was well maintained, but not clean. i was charged $25 for cleaning fee and the truck looked the same when i returned it as when i took it
I picked up the van I needed very quickly and returned it the same on the day. The front desk staff was busy but helpful.

trailer had damage on floor should have been told to me beforehand is all did not effect its use. otherwise all good!
The drop off experience was a bit weird. The lady directed the guy in front of me to a parking space out front. They appeared to be done and I pulled in the space next in line. The lady never made eye contact, my windows were down, but she never said anything to me, she just turned and walked away. The office is a good 100 yards away and I just sat there in a surreal situation: what is that all about? I called inside and said "um? what's going on?" and the guy at the desk said "oh, she's busy". "Um? ok is she also blind, deaf, and mute? She could have a little courtesy and communicate." That guy then came out and was training someone, but never had the courtesy to say: "sorry about that snafu". He said about two words to me (in fairness he was training someone).
The lights on the trailer worked when i picked it up but stopped working halfway though the trip. Not sure if it was my wiring adapter or the trailer. Would need more troubleshooting.
Had to replace two tires after I picked it up. They were real bad and probably would not have made the 4000 mile trip I had. Fortunately, I was able to take it back before I left and they changed both tires.
I was charged foe 3 days more than what I had the rental for - the employee who I dealt with when picking up my trailer told me I could drop off trailer after hours and made NO mention of needing to use an online app to say it had been dropped off. I called customer service and they said they wrote an email and I never heard back from anyone. This is pitiful customer service.
Our person Damien who handled our rental was really very good. He was polite, knowledgeable and reliable. I can't imagine how you can improve on this employee.
