This location was great. Staff was great too. Not happy with U-Haul over all. I ordered a one way truck and found out the day of pickup that were wasn’t any trucks available. Had to change to a local rental which cost me an extra $100.00 dollars.??

Associate at this location was OK, but I was told I would not be charged a extra day, since I was just a over an hour late returning. When I was charged for the late fee, I contacted Lyvonne Riggs, who was not very helpful. However, I eventually called customer service, Jasmine Quash, an E-Customer Service Agent who refunded the late fee and was very friendly.

I reserved a truck and trailer at one location on 225 and Colfax, and was told that it would be ready by 9;30 and when I arrived it was not, the guy said he didn't have a key for the lock so I had to drive to another location! The the man was rude and very lazy when I got the the location that I was sent to off Unita Colfax and it took 1/2 hour or more at that location because hey were having problems with the computer . The gas tank was suppose to be at a half tank and it was between 1/4 and 1/2 tank, and the app that you have to use to check in would not load and I was already late so I didn't have time to go in and argue the fact! I put in 12$ worth of gas and I drove 13 mile doesn't seem quit right !! I have used U-HAUL for years and I was very disappointed. thanks!!

Tried to use the app, was a terrible experience. Was moved from my preferred location to 20+ minutes away. App wouldn’t work. Had to wait for the store to open. Called U-Haul hell (help) line and was bounced around from person to person for a hour before the last person finally stated that the first person I talked to could’ve handled everything for me. They gave me the $50 guarantee after putting me 2 hours behind moving and caused me to be even more emotionally stress than I already was (ya know because I was moving). The only saving grace was the person who worked at this location. Michael was patient and sincere and helpful. He was fast and efficient even though he had a line basically out the door of customers and was by himself. He also had at least 3 other customers who were angry and stressed because of the problems with the app. Basically I learned that if I ever decide to use U-Haul again, and that’s a big IF because I’m still angry at the whole experience, that the app is useless and to just wait until I can have someone from the store help me.

The assistant manager named Michael Martinez was awesome! Took care of everything. I have no problem with the place but rather with how U Haul runs things in general. My truck was late. I picked it up 20 minutes after it was supposed to be there and I did not get the notification that it was not ready to be picked up even though when I called in the morning someone said they would give me a heads up if the truck was not at the location. Another problem is i was made to buy a lock even though the truck came with a lock and key. I returned the lock but it just shows lack of awareness of what is going on. I would say Michael is very sweet but U Haul as a company is a mess.

The manager was so helpful to allow for extension of the time on the vehicle. So I left the store with a two hour agreement and then I was texted with the extension of time which really helped. Thanks so much!

The first truck wouldn't start, the staff were helpful in getting me another truck, but this truck also had issues, the main one being the key being constantly stuck in the ignition, this was a major issue and cost me a large amount of time and hassle. Because the app did not allow me to take pictures of the vehicle I was also not able to alter the gas-meter's starting usage, costing me more time/money. I would like a refund

the person who hooked up my hitch put the wrong hitch on AND put it on upside down! It was actually dragging on the ground was a major liability. I shouldn't have even been allowed to drive it off of the property. Thankfully, I had someone tell me I had to get a different hitch before I drove my kids the 1300 miles across the country. We could have gotten killed as my car is front wheel drive and the weight from how the hitch was attached was taking the traction from my front wheels. Not only did they give me the wrong hitch to buy, but they attached it upside down. I am extremely frustrated with this locations inability to do their job correctly!! They could have killed us.

We have used this location many times as the two young men who helped us we super customer service oriented and I knew I could depend on them as a mom moving our college students back to school. At 4:35 pm, as I entered the store, I was told I was set up to do the mobile app and had no clue what this was and asked for help and the employee spoke under her breath and I had to ask her to repeat herself many times. I’m not sure, but I think she had logged out of her computer and was very disgruntled to help me. I had a very difficult time getting onto the web site. She spoke harsh and was extremely rude. I did not rebuttal as there was a child sitting behind the counter. What I found most interesting as I texted my husband to come in and help me. Her attitude completely changed when he walked in. I inquired about the two young men that were so helpful and she said they didn’t do their job cleaning the trucks. Just wondering if cleaning a trucks is more important than keeping customers as I will need a truck several more years, twice a year and will never step into this location again and questioning U-HAUL vs competition. If this was my franchises, I would want to know this is going on with my employee.

Van was dirty, mirrors so dirty could not see to use them, wipes had been removed and left inside the vehicle, we did not notice this until we were on the move. The desk staff was great and very helpful and professional.
